Hello everyone, Unfortunately, my folder with all my PFS2 chronicle sheets has disappeared, along with my other gaming materials. Any advice on recovering them? While I'm not overly worried about proving things at the local game store, the situation is a bit more concerning with upcoming regional conventions. I appreciate any help in this endeavour. Thank you.
Captain Morgan wrote: What about a virtual table top? Is having everyone on their laptop a nonstarter? In which case, maybe a projector? About 3 out of 5 players used either a laptop or tablet during the session; otherwise, everyone does have a phone with Internet access and a Discord channel where we can message each other. We did play online for a bit during COVID, but everyone, me included, prefers in-person over online. Currently, we're playing on the dining table, which has enough room for either everyone's stuff and a flip map or game mat, or the TV Table.te
So I'm running a AP for my friends and i seriously don't know how i'm supposed to handle larger maps. At the start, I had access to a TV table, which solved a lot of problems, but since the host moved houses, that is no longer an option. I've been drawing out the regular-sized maps on a blank game mat or flip map before sessions for the group, but they're getting close to the next chapter, a large, multi-level dungeon with multiple encounters, and I am honestly a bit stumped on what to do. If that wasn't enough, I also have limited mobility and rely on a wheelchair when GMing. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Lore buffs of Golarion, I need your aid! What would be some of the magically rich places on Golarion (ie abundant in magic)? To give a bit of a explanation, a player in my game is designing a ritual/technique for his magical dissertation (a alternative way of drawing upon and storing ambient energies of a location). One of the requirements of this ritual/technique is that it needs to be performed at a place with a high abundant of ambient magic? While I got a few in minds, I wouldn't mind some additional locations so I can offer options to the PC for his dissertation. Cheers!
So, My group is nearing the masking ceremony, and to make it even more special i was going to give each of their masks the effects of a specialty mask from the book. While I've figure out which masks effect to give to the others, I'm currently stuck on which mask to give to the Summoners. I'm currently thinking of maybe giving him the Herd Mask, and giving his Eidolon one that work on Eidolon, but I'm happy to hear any alternative. Thoughts?
Just had session zero recently and was asked a pretty insightful question from one of the players which I unsure of how to answered... Player Asked wrote: Is there anything you’d like me to incorporate into my characters backstory based on background and class? Like from a specific location or area? For reference, he is playing a Sprite (Melixie) Wild Witch with a Cricket as a familiar and the Sponsored by a Stranger background. I am so lucky to have the players that I have...
Question from a new GM about to run SoT... SoT Spoilers:
One of my players is creating a Kobold Sorcerer w/ the Sponsored by Family background. I thought it might be fun to have the player be related to Xhokan (LN male kobold inventory manager 9), potentially have him be the players sponsor. Would their be anything problematic to this? Sadly I don't have much info to go on at the moment, but I like the idea.
SoT Book 1 Spoiler:
Just to let you know that the adventure include a Academia Downtime Subsystem where players can gain ranks in one of the five branches. Each rank reward benefits including bonuses to certain skills, skill feats, and even Magaambya Archetype Feats (You get the Magaambya Dedication as a bonus feat at Rank 3). So by default players do end up quite skilled.
Hi guys, going to my first PFS2 organized play next week. I've created a Half-orc Cleric of Erastil for play but I'm struggling with the backstory. Why would a Cleric of Erastil be galavanting with a bunch of pathfinders, especially given Old Deadeye's edicts/anathema? Edicts: care for your home and family, fulfill your duties, keep the peace, protect the community. Anathema: abandon your home in its time of need, choose yourself over your community, tarnish your reputation, tell lies. Open to suggestions/ideas on backstory and how to RP the character, thanks!
No spoilers For Wrath of the Righteous Please!! Hey all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I would love to get some advice regarding building (and playing) a Magus. Some backstory: My group has finished our Starfinder campaign and are starting Wrath of the Righteous, and I have settled on playing a Magus. To make it even more complicated, I decided to go the Jistkan Artificer instead of a normal Magus (Info about the archetype here). I am rather attach to the archetype and would prefer to keep it. At the moment, I am thinking of doing a Frostbite + Rim Spell + Enforcer Build, instead of the usual Shocking Grasp + Intensify Spell (Because Demons). But beyond that, I haven't got the slightest clue on where to go. Current Character build (Human Magus, 25 point build): STR 18 (+4)
Traits
Drawback
Feats
Again, any advice regarding building (and playing) a Magus would be greatly appreciated. |
