I am extremely interested in playing with a recent character idea I've had. I am quite used to the Pathfinder system, and have recently joined the boards again after moving for work. I was on the boards temporarily a few years back, but had to quit after some bad RL stuff. Now that I'm no longer able to play in my f2f games, though, I'm back and enjoying it.

I am currently a goblin in Goblinized Kingmaker that just recently started and am also starting a RotR campaign here in about a week. I have multiple opportunities to check the boards for posts, and even on my busiest day, I can post at least once.

As for my character, I'll submit a general character concept for consideration. If selected, I'll be recycling one of my alias (of the same name), just so you know.

Luna Stargazer
1. Tattoed Sorcerer (Fey Bloodline)

2. Luna was born and raised in Oppra, and of the minor noble house of Stargazer.

3. Luna's cost of living is taken care of by her family, though they do not like it.

4. Luna will be a face if needed for the party, and be able to charm and cast other spells for out of battle needs. Will know a few battle spells for when battle is necessary.

5. Full Sorcerer.

6. Luna's birth was a huge contravesry, as she was born out of wedlock. Her mother's actions scandilized her family and made her the black sheep, and only tradition kept Luna from being tossed on the street. What was worse was the deformity that she seemed to be born with. Her mother never revealed her father's identity, but he couldn't have been fully human, as Luna was born with animalistic ears and a tail.

On top of her strange appearance, Luna's blood also carried power, as her sorceress abilities soon surfaced. Her powers alienated her even further from her magicless family.

As the black sheep, Luna was ostracized around her family, except during public events when she was treated politely while she covered her 'special traits'. Stubborn and proud of her features, her family was quite shocked when she had a Varisian give her several noticeable tattoos.

Of her family, only two were kind to her. Her mother, who accepted her as she was and loved her, though she never revealed her father to her, and her cousin. Her sole cousin was also the heir of the family. However, he was a sickly child, so Luna's position in the family was tenuous as she was the next in line after him. Well, at least if the vote goes as expected soon. As sickly as he was, he was rarely exposed to the politics of Oppra, which is why Luna felt she could get along with him so easily.

The politics was what Luna hated the most, though. Politics that stood on deceit and tradition, Oppra's system was quite corrupt and unable to grow to accomadate change. It was this system that made Luna's birth and appearance so demeaning, and so Luna hopes to one day change the system. The only thing that has kept her from leaving is her mother and cousin, neither of which would leave.

The upcoming vote will determine Luna's future on whether she can even be an heir as a woman. Her family has decreed her banned from the meeting from her recent rebellious behavior. However, Luna recently met a woman who agreed to get her in. She can't wait to see her family's faces when they notice her.

As for her personality, Luna is quite an energetic and impulsive girl that likes to make her point quite loudly. She is initially distrustful of any noble and often grows to dislike most, but is willing to show respect to any that honestly earn it.

I so want to see a goblin attempting to make 'their' version of bullets and gunpowder. How many fingers will they already be missing?

Goblin Madness:
Name - Croaker

Alignment - Chaotic Neutral (likes causing chaos and spreading fire, whether its right or wrong)

Roles - Thinking of Bard at the moment. Will focus on fire and illusionary spells while singing goblin songs at the top of his lungs. (Specifically looking at the Flamesinger & Flame Dancer archetype combo for a fire-fighting performer. :D)

Picture - Pic

Personality - Croaker has been meshing and mashing songs since he was a little tyke, not that he's much bigger now. He was given his name after learning to harmonize with a pet frog that he uses to add to his singing. His current frog is his fifth one now, since the mortality rate of squeezing such creatures for music is high.

Croaker loves fire as well, and his natural ability to set things on fire delights him to no end. He also loves to play pranks using his spells on others and generally cause mayhem everywhere.

Croaker is particularly scared of letters, since he is afraid of all the words in his head falling out and leaving him without his ability to throw insults or invent clever songs. To counteract this possibility, Croaker uses the well-known goblin tradition of speaking to his food before eating it to add words into his head. As he has yet to fail to sing, he knows it works completely.

Virtue/Vice - Virtue: Can harmonize with a frog. Vice: Frogs don't last long enough.

Personal Song - Though he has many songs, his favorite is his song for himself:

Sing like frog, croak on log.
Set on fire and kill the dog.
No goblin can sing like me.
Me can sing farther than see.

Me make fakes and noisies too,
While me make froggie croak in tune.
Me be strongest, this you'll see,
For me a goblin hero be.

Goblin Mayhem:
I am a young, enthusiastic man attempting to get his feet firmly under him this time around in the world. I currently live in the States within the Eastern Time Zone bracket (-5 GMT). An interesting fact about me is that I've played goblins a few times before, irl, and even played a goblin version of RotR through the first book before commitments broke our group up.

I am rather experienced with Pathfinder, and it is by far my favorite system, though playing f2f has limited any exposure to 3pp. I've also GMed a few games, and am planning to start up a game here on the boards in a few days.

Rolling dice is the reason I first got hooked on Pathfinder as a kid, since I love to roll dice and see a story form without anyone's control. My playstyle now tends to lean much more toward roleplaying, though, and my old min/max builds have moved out for flavor-filled builds that lend to rp more than combat/rolling in general.

I am willing to have inter-party conflict between characters as long as all of the players and GM are okay and accepting of it. I have enough experience to roleplay out of such situations should someone not be comfortable with the situation, as well as finding ways to stay with a party without meta-gaming the reason away.

As for pbp, this is my second attempt to get on the boards. Two years ago, I began to try pbp. I had been told about it by my old group as I moved out on my own for a job. One accident later, I was back at my parents recuperating. On the upside, I got to rejoin my f2f games with my old group. I just recently moved once more for my new job, so I'm once again trying pbp to fill the Pathfinder sized hole that leaving my group again has caused. As for typing, I took a few 'proper' classes in school, but my main experience comes from writing short stories for my siblings. I haven't done that in a while, so I might be a little rusty until I get back in the groove. If things should slow down, though, I think a simple post in the discussion tab reminding players of who's turn it is helps in combat. Otherwise, taking the initiative to act in the gameplay when outside of combat usually helps push things along. With goblins, that should be rather simple.

I'm an overnighter, so my posts can vary depending on when I sleep. However, I'm also able to check the forums multiple times a day, and I have a bluetooth keyboard for my phone, so I can even post when away from home. I also enjoy goblins because of their randomness and the many quirks Pathfinder has given the creatures. I also feel confident in nudging a goblin group along the intended through 'roleplay', though most likely not for the reasons expected, as I did this for my other 'all-goblin' games I've played. Kind of like how the Minions ended up as rulers of England while 'trying to find a boss'.

I would love to join in on this. I've been playing the Rise of the Goblins from the Pathfinder Card Game recently where it lines up the events of this very scenario, so I'm all in for a goblin version right now.

Also interested in a Kingmaker as well. Since goblins wouldn't want to read, you could set it up where the original heroes fall to Book 1's bandits that the goblins happen to be working for. Upon hearing about the missive to colonize the land, the goblins realize that they should start up their own tribe.

Insanity ensues great interest. I'd love to join in, or even watch this hilarity promised adventure.

Dotting if recruitment is still open.

Interested. I'll see if I can get a character up today.
