Even if they move away, they can't turn around fast enough with a move of 6 and average maneuverability to shoot us with that big fat eyeball laser on the front. And if we assume that they even have side weapons, they're not going to be 4d8 like the eyeball they keep blasting us with while we run, while we can get two weapons to bear from our fore. ![]()

It might seem counter intuitive, but staying closer to a less maneuverable ship will accoplish what you wanted rather than flying farther away. The distance gives them the space to come around and fire. Basically, stay right on its tail if you can. ![]()

![]() Since we have a small crew, you can be both Pilot (the ship doesn't move without a pilot, and piloting ranks are required for starship combat initiative and maneuvers) and use a Minor Action to do the Engineering action (as long as it is not a Push action). EDIT: I'll be happy to switch Iconic to Iseph at the first legitimate opportunity and take over Piloting role for the next starship encounter. I took Obozaya, who has no starship contribution beside gunner, because she was all that was left after people who didn't show claimed their Iconics. ![]()

![]() Re: Concealment in SF: We're both wrong, but you're more right than me. In PF, it was undefined, so PbP the GM usually specifies. Since you hadn't, I went with RePete's SOP. However, SF has defined it as 1 to 20/50 is a miss. However, the target is the one who rolls. Feel free to use my roll and make it a miss or have Red make his roll. ![]()

![]() They all tagged the Gameplay thread, but you're right, I haven't seen them post since muster. Hard to know what's Hurricane related. However, to answer your question: you need 1 GM and 3 players to make a legal table (someone plays an NPC, usually the GM).
