As the beast falls, Billy sighs. This was what he had been looking for. The guilt that weighed on him from his wasted years of crime and robbery...he had faced down ultimate evil and brought it down.

Now...where did he go from here?

The world was changing, the wild frontiers he loved were shrinking.

I've got an idea for my secondary character too, looking at a spathinae biohacker/soldier multiclass who's all about ranged combat and living weapons, going for gunner as their ship role.

I'll definitely reflavor the spathinae to be a differentiated from their Starfinder version, something like masters of biotech who are absolutely baffled by mechanical devices.

I've had this idea for an android nanocyte that's some sort of experimental weapon. There any more info on the role of androids in society? I was also thinking they could be some sort of android liberationist who wants androids to have a homeworld of their own.

Billy had made sure to fold his wings back in the moment the extraplanar beings had disappeared, so riding into the village he looks no more out of place than a normal cowboy. Granted, this far east cowboys were always out of place, but still, more normal than a cowboy with wings would ever be.

He yells out, "Now you're gettin' it! You and me, squarin' down, right now. Marion, git!" With that, eagle's wings unfold from his shoulder blades and with a single powerful wingbeat he alights off his horse as it begins to run off, taking him up unto the sky out of the reach of the foes.

Billy levels his pistol at the nearest foe and says, "Judgement's comin' for ya." He fires.

Billy makes sure to get his horse Marion off the train, and rather than riding in the carriage, rides alongside it, keeping an eye out for any potential threats.

I've got a horse from being a cavalier, and I figure that riding alongside a stagecoach is pretty perfect for Billy.

As the figures approach he reins in his horse, subtly slipping a hand to the handle of his pistol as he calls out, "Well good day! We ain't lookin' for any kinda trouble, just passin' through on our way to Darthapast."

There was something looming, to be sure. Assassinations of leaders always lead to something. Billy'd heard of enough stories of the bloody coups in Chicoa to be sure of that.

With not much else, Billy spends a day in the casino/bar and once he'd gotten his fill of drinking and gambling, he spends the next day sitting with Walter, shooting the breeze and looking out at the ocean. It was a strange thing to him, the ocean. At once so similar yet so incredibly different from the deserts of his childhood.

Billy grumbles a bit. The Esperan had been tyrants over his ancestors in Chicoa. His mother had told him horror stories about their crimes, and he bore no love for their former colonial masters.

"Boys, I ain't lookin' forward to headin' to Esperan. My forefathers from Chicoa had all manner of atrocities dealt to 'em by the Esperan. I know I can get a temper sometimes, so I'm countin' on you all to help me keep it in check. Let's get that train so we can get out as soon as possible."

Billy grins at Tarasik’s suggestion. The big man was a steadfast friend, and the suggestion of Russkin food seemed to delight him like nothing else. He’d put up with Syrniki for his friend’s sake…whatever it was.

Knocked slightly off balance by Tarasik’s mighty hands, Billy regains what little composure he’s got before saying, ”Sounds just fine by me, big fella. Say, you Russkins got some strong drink, dontcha? If we can get some of that in the cards, I can keep goin’ as long as I’m needed to.”

Billy’s occupies his time with drinking, gambling, and some crime-fighting here and there. The dealings with criminals didn’t sit well with him, too close to his old life, and so he spent his nights taking some direct action to assuage his conscience.

He sat, cleaning his gun with his boots kicked up on the table. Walter’s digs were nicer than the glorified closet in the flophouse that Billy had chosen to stay in, so he found himself spending a fair amount of time there. ”So, I’m guessin’ your magic came through. Anything else on this fella? I can work with a name, but I’d take more if you’ve got it.”
