I own everything put out by Pathfinder, and after cleaning out my bookcase today, and removing and putting back all the softcover APs, Modules, Player Companions, and Campaign Settings from my bookcase it was just annoying with all the softcover books falling about. Flimsy. I want slipcovers please. Way too many easily damaged softcovers, and I mean WAY too many softcovers for us not to be able to adequately protect them. It is a pain moving all these volumes about. Please make slipcovers.
Well, I finally bit the bullet and got both of the complete sets, albeit, at $72.00 per set. Still a lot but at least I can finally put this behind me for good as far as collecting is concerned. I couldn't imagine how many boosters I would need to buy to get all the foils too. O.O I bought this along with 11 adventure paths, all during the release of the Rise of the Runelords Deluxe Collector's edition. Yikes! I gotta have it all! They're mine now! Belnor.
I only use square bases that are only made of metal. Metal minis and metal bases. Consistency is very important to me, and I am BIG on terrain boards, making and playing on them. I have an entire room dedicated to terrain and painting. Occasionally I will base a horse caravan on a cavalry base. Other exceptions include clear resin for gelatinous cubes on square metal bases, and large sized dragons, which use broccoli bases or custom bases made by me. But, on 25-40mm figures with broccoli bases I place them inside of metal bases with a recess in them so they end up being the same size as the others in scale. :)
I will never use resin. Metal straight through, but that's me. Otherworld Miniatures for the metal mini freak! Belnor.

Ouch! I hope we get word of news of this soon. I am biting my fingernails. I need this on my pulpit book stand.
Please give us a few pages on combat/movement without the use of the grid. I am specifically talking about using miniatures on terrain. Something for movement, aoe with protractors, the use of measuring tape in a pathfinder game on an actual terrain board! :) What better way to get away from the grid than to take the battle and/or adventure to real terrain. :) Just a page or two with something official regarding the mention of the basic mechanics of using a tape measure, etc., for movement, units... I intend to use the rules in the book and bring it to the terrain board!

I have no problem with you adding me as a friend, and I don't think Shin would have a problem with it either. I hope to run into you at the Strat. Likewise, brother. Bel.
Greetings, and good tidings, Freehold, and ShinHakkaider. I live on the UWS, and we got lucky. I have friends in Little Odessa as well. Terrible shame. Apparently the death toll has risen to near 100, most of which are in Staten Island. Have some friends there as well. If you fellow NYC Pathfinders do not mind, I shall add you as friends, and who knows, perhaps we can get a game together. I sometimes show up at the Strat. I'm from Murray Hill. Till then, and I am happy that those who posted are okay, along with their families and friends. Best regards, Belnor.
Thanks for the concern Sara, and Papa-DRB!! It did get bad around those parts. I am extremely lucky I did not lose power. My mother lost power though. Everything from 36th street and south went dark. I wonder how long till the trains are running normally again. Anyway, quite a few people lost their lives, and at Breezy Point between 80-100 houses burned to the ground, and got flooded. A lot of parts look like a bombed out railway. Let's hope everybody else in the Pathfinder community in the New York City area, NJ, Philly, etc., made it out alright. And, on a lighter note, let's hope our packages come unscathed. Regards, Belnor.
Hi, I live in Manhattan in New York City, and was scheduled to receive my package right when the hurricane hit. The UPS tracking system now states 'recent activity' as "Natural Disaster". I hope my package of 12 pounds of goodies arrives safe, and I also hope it arrives safe for all those with delayed packages due to Hurricane Sandy, aka, Frankenstorm. I will let you guys know how it goes with delivery. I also have some miniatures coming from the UK as well. Man. :/ But, the most important thing is that we are all safe. Best regards, Belnor.

I have to lay down plastic on the dining room table, get out my bucket of dental plaster, molds, cups, pour, scrape, pop blocks, and clean-up. If you enjoy doing this, then it is essential to have a dedicated work station.
Hi, when I try to access my account, this is the message I receive: "Sorry, there was a problem handling your request. The system administrator has been notified. Please contact webmaster@paizo.com if you continue to have difficulties". Any ideas? Perhaps this is a glitch? I would like to view my order info and sidecart. Bel.

It is very expensive, terrain in general. A fully kitted out, bespoke, wargame/fantasy terrain board can go for 5-7k, sometimes more. That is just for one board. But this is of course at an aesthetic level that is clearly at the highest of the top end. I make my own terrain and paint my own miniatures, and I do have to say it is expensive, lol. Either way, 60+ sets of DF or having a bespoke wargame terrain board made for you is going to cost loads of dough. But, depending on how much time you plan to devote to gaming on terrain or just for the simple, obsessive joy of it, it might be worth it. I cast my own bricks in custom made molds, and fire them in a mini kiln to harden them, individual bricks. I hand scribe rocks on buildings as well. All this takes a lot of time, and well, it's gonna cost. Scratch built buildings (wooden usually, no paper here nor foam), real copper gutters or copper/tin roofs, hand cast and carved rock formations, etc., is all factored into the cost. Trees really starts adding up the cost as well, a terrain board could easily have a few hundred trees on it. Believe it or not, the cheaper option is to purchase all those trees rather than having the commissioned artist/craftsman (it's an art to me ^^) scratch build each tree, but it looks even better that way, and it shows both, aesthetically, and cost-wise. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that purchasing all those trees is going to cost a boat load! I love terrain so much. Going to be getting more stuff from Scenic Express, the MiniNatur Silflourettes! Love that stuff!

OW makes the best miniatures. I have some OW Shriekers, a Shambling Mound, and Slimes, Oozes and Jellies sets I, and II on their way! After I lost my Grenadier Shriekers, OW was the only way, and their sculpts are far superior. Everything is in metal, unless physics says otherwise. I can't stand resin or plastic. I also make sure all my bases are metal too. :) Support OW! Belnor.
Hey everybody, just want to add that Stratus Artworks, the makers of Dr. Wizard's Patented Elevation Indicator has many color options for bands for more precise measurement! Many have wanted the option to have replacement bands, but were unable to find any. That is no longer the case! My new bands and elevation indicator have just arrived, and I would like to show you guys and gals what they look like. Here is a selection of the awesome colors to be had in bands for your elevation indicators! Right-click and open link in new tab. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b207/Belnor/RPG%20Stuff/005.jpg
I am very happy about this, and Paizo should add the ability for us to purchase these items. You can purchase them direct from Jodi's website till then. http://www.emeraldsemporium.com/Elevation_Indicators.html Cheers and enjoy! Belnor. :)
Vic Wertz wrote: Also, starting with this release, Flip-Mats will come in new packaging featuring a wraparound sheet with a printed front, spine and back (much like we have for our GM Screen), allowing you to easily identify which Flip-Mat on your bookshelf is which. It would be nice if we were able to get a sleeve for the previous flip mats we have. It would make the collection 'uniform' and not out of place on the shelf. It would be kind of weird to have cubic feet of previous maps bare, and just a couple with this new treatment. I would probably have to toss the covers just to keep the collection uniform, despite how cool they are. No sense in finding a couple maps at glance, and have 98 percent of the collection still a guess game as to what is what. Just throwing ideas. Bel.

Actually, I just picked up two elevation indicators, and all these extra bands, and they come in all these cool colors! Extra Bands, 50 cents, (two each): Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Lavender, White, Hot Pink, Pale Pink, Teal, Light Blue. You can pick the bands up here: http://www.emeraldsemporium.com/Elevation_Indicators.html Cheers, Belnor. Hopefully Paizo starts selling the bands too! Everybody will buy them. :)
Greetings, Cos, Sara... Well, I am once again a full on Paizo Superscriber, including the Pawns subscription. Feels great. But, I am asking that you change the book my starting subscription begins with from the NPC Codex, to Ultimate Equipment. RPG Ongoing Subscription start book should have been Ultimate Equipment. Thanks guys and gals! And, as always, pack with loving care for your Pazio Superscribers! best regards, Belnor.
