Bel slumps down onto the ground, takes a few deep breaths and seem to go into a trance.

Bel looks pretty bad. The gas and acid have reduced him to almost no hit points.

Bel shuffles over to the others.
"Those creatures were almost the death of me. I hope we do not encounter many more. If it is possible I could use some healing!"

Able to dodge the first spray of acid, Bel connects fully with the second, then catches a small amount of the poison gas just for good measure.

Bel looks down at the trio and shakes his shaggy bovine head and give a 'huff'.

Bel goes over and examines the trampled ground to see if he might have some clue as to what happened.

Will use one 1st level spell slot to gain Primal Awareness for 1 minute.

Primeval Awareness:

Beginning at 3rd level, you can use your action and expend one ranger spell slot to focus your awareness on the region around you. For 1 minute per level of the spell slot you expend, you can sense whether the following types of creatures are present within 1 mile of you (or within up to 6 miles if you are in your favored terrain): aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead. This feature doesn’t reveal the creatures’ location or number.

Bel breaths in the fresh, cold air of the open plains. His wounds from the battle with the dragon-man in the town had healed, but the exploding creature still worried him. He looks over at Moon-dancer as she asks about the lands about.

"The are only a few scattered homesteads before we hit the town of Que-Sho to the east. Past the Eastwall mountains we come to the coast. The ruins are just a little north of that. I suggest we by-pass the town. If it is anything like Solace it could be crawling with those creatures Urgo and I fought!"

The big minotaur give a wan smile that turns into a grimace as his movements aggravate some of his wounds.

"A nice place to rest would be most welcome!"

Bel will use all his HD to heal before resting so he will be ready and fresh by morning time!

Well, what I would like to try, if it is possible, is to have Bel toss his head and dislodge the draconian from his horn and send it flying into the distance...not sure if that is possible or no, or what I would need to roll to achieve it!!

Feeling his strength slipping away, Bel strikes a final time at his foe in hopes of dropping him and escaping to join the others.

Bel watches as Urgo pushes the cart in the way of their pursuers. Grunting he slows and looks to the others.
"I will meet you at the smithy when I can, but do not wait. I can track you!"

With that, the minotaur turns, paws the ground once, then twice and charges, head down at the goblins trying to stop you.

Goring Rush: When you use the Dash action during your turn, you can make a melee attack with your horns as a bonus action.
Hammering Horns: When you use the Attack action during your turn to make a melee attack, you can attempt to shove a creature with your horns as a bonus action. You cannot use this shove attempt to knock a creature prone.

Attack Goring Rush: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage (horns): 1d10 + 3 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 5 = 17

Shove the hobgoblin out of my way and keep on running in the opposite direction from the others.

Indeed an excellent idea! Do you still want to try and block the path Urgo? I was thinking as they turn, Bel could charge them, doing a gore attack, then withdraw

"This is not the time or place my friend. Think of all the innocents who will die if we attempt to battle these lizards right here...right now. We will free them, you have my word on it, but we first must solve the riddle of that staff you carry. They seem very keen on getting it, and we cannot let that happen. Come, let us get away from here while we still can.

I do not think there is much space for me to attack, so I will attempt to intimidate the hobgoblin to make him surrender.

Looking at the hobgoblin left, Bel stands to his full height and lets out a tremendous bellow right at the creature, hoping to frighten him into surrendering.

Bel ducks as he enters the Inn, watching that his horns do not get tangles in the entryway. He nods to Otik and give Tika a smile, surprised to see the little girl now grown up.
Only 5 years! Humans sure can change quickly in such a short time. he thinks to himself.

"I'll have a tankard of ale as well Otik", he calls out as he joins the others at the table, forgoing trying to sit in a chair, and simply plopping down on the floor.
