I doubt anyone is going to see this, but I have to say how much I loved this campaign. It was so ridiculous and fun. Easily one of my favorite campaigns.

When we were going strong, this was easily the campaign I looked forward to the most. So much fun!

Thanks for running it, Almonihah. Question: Did you have any plans for the other two sidequests that we didn't get to?

The army leaders went, then I went, and then you went again, ending that post saying "the other two" are up, and you mentioned that the posting order was messed up, so I assumed that you meant Zip and Grash since I had just gone previously.

I don't really feel like we have a goal. We're just sort of reacting to stuff and hope that the army is routed before our HP runs out. (Or at least, before it all runs out at the same time?) If Zip or Grash have a goal in mind, let's go for it. I'm just agreeing to anything at this point.

While the hydra feeds, Beachhead investigates Ziphora's neck stump, looking for any signs of regrowth. He's assuming Grash will warn him if anything is headed their way. Or will scream in pain if he's bitten, which will also serve as a warning.

Suddenly his eyes narrow and he looks up.

Beachhead spends time during the descent trying to think of a pun that merges "hobgoblin" and "kabob." He doesn't think of any that suit him, however, which leaves him frustrated. He takes out that frustration on the hobgabobs.

He hides during the descent to gain surprise. He'll try and hit any visible leaders or larger soldiers that are within range.

Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 11 + 1 = 18
Damage + Sneak Attack: 2d6 + 2 + 5d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 + (1, 4, 3, 2, 6) + 1 = 24

Don't forget we get a +1 to attack for having the "higher ground." That's pretty important for 10th level hydra heads.

Beachhead contorts his neck to be exactly the same shape and position as one two new sibling heads and pushes up against it to dodge the flames.

Swift action: While hiding, Beachhead disappears!

Spending 1 ki point to vanish. Beachhead now has the "Invisible Blade" ninja trick, so his vanish now acts like greater invisibility, which I guess also means he remains invisible for 8 rounds.

Free Action: Beachhead uses his sudden disappearance to confuse the manticore (calling it a "manatee") before he attacks.

Using the Two Places at Once custom ability so that it's now flanked.

Stealth: 1d20 + 24 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 24 + 20 = 62

Full Round Action: Beachhead tears into the manatee!
