Once everyone has had a chance to tell Janira about our adventure thus far, Attilio finally speaks up.

I would be interested in knowing how you were able to fend off that powerful beast as long as you did Janira. Surely that is a mighty tale in itself?

Well, since none of us see any particular reason not to, Attilio continues moving through the tunnels, looking for hazards and threats as he goes and tries not to worry about the helpful little halfling trying to fight the minotaur all by her lonesome.

Don't rush off blindly into danger people. She knew what she was doing, we won't be of any use to her if we get killed by running into a pit trap on the way, and we don't know for certain that what we're hearing is what we think it is. We need to remain cautious - just because this particular bit of cavern is safe doesn't mean the next bit around the corner will be as well.

The centipede startled me more than anything. I believe I heard Vogma shouting though. Anyhow, I have a rope you can hold onto if need be.

Attilio hands Bobbette the end of his rope and then crosses the stream. Once everyone is safely beyond the water, he returns to point and starts down the tunnel once the group is ready to continue.

If the centipede is dead, then Attilio will fire at the mite that's still standing on the other side of the stream. If the centipede is not dead, then Attilio will 5' step away from it and fire another arrow at it instead.

As Izotu begins singing, Attilio moves into the cavern and up the left side of the room to get a clear shot at the centipede. It's bigger and there's fewer of it than of the mites, so it must be more dangerous.

I believe that you are correct Vogma, but given that Uori cannot hear your words, it would seem rude to prevent him from seeing your face when you speak. I expect that he most likely is already aware that he cannot hear, so it is not as though it is a secret to be preserved from him.

Uori, are these caverns sacred to your people on their own, or is it Aroden's influence that makes them important? What will the gillmen do once it fades completely?

Well, it seems that these caves are empty. Either there was never anyone here, or they vacated the premises as soon as they heard us coming. A mile away.

Anyhow. What are these carvings about? We should try to draw them as best we can so that the society's experts can decipher them at their leisure. And perhaps map the cave for later reference as well.

Attilio looks over the carvings, trying to discern enough detail to sketch out.

Is it possible to climb down into the pit and avoid the spikes?

Assuming yes Attilio will climb down Take 10 climb: 16 = 16 into the pit and move over to fallen Half-Orc. He digs around and finds the cure potion that she took from Janira's pack and administers it to her.

It's okay. Attilio's only in the Cheliax faction because he believes that totalitarianism is ultimately in humanity's best interest. He doesn't worship devils or anything. :grin:

I suppose I ought to actually describe Attilio as well.

The young man is exceptionally pale for a half-elf, with hair such a light grey that it is nearly white. He carries morningstar at his side, but it is the bow on his back that appears to receive the most attention from the snowborn.

I never intended to be cagey about my past, or about my abilities. I am simply unused to anyone expressing an interest in either.

I grew up in Korvosa with my father. When he wasn't in jail, he kept us fed with whatever criminal activity he thought of - usually banditry. It got him killed a few years ago, and one of his "friends" gave me his cut of their blood money. I gave the money away, but I kept the bow because it was originally my mother's. With Irori's help, and the Pathfinder training programs, I've taught myself to fight, and can shoot my mother's bow passably well.

I'm new-ish. I've played a couple modules, a couple PbP sessions, and around 8 roll20 sessions. I have played Confirmation twice before (and even survived the second time).
