Ok, I used the holidayto think about it a bit and perhaps you are right, I think it is better if I bow out of this particular PbP.

Rerolling would be better, than dropping out completely, but I think our good GM has the last word.

I am sorry for not having responded for such a long time. I didn't really think, that it was such a long time than it turned out it was.

It seems, that I don't really feel Asira. It is difficult to motivate myself to continue playing her.

Asira helps herself to some food too and nods

"An ale would be great. Thank you for your information so far. Anything else we should be looking out? any dangers awaiting us in the marshes?"

"And that is where we need your help. As you know your way round the swamp, you could perhaps help us with giving us directions to the Goblin village."

Asira steps closer to Walthus, now carefully and ready to react should this one turn out to be another faceless stalker.

"Please let me check your wounds.²

Asira lets out a painfull moan as she stands up, her rips, where the false Walthus slam hit her, still hurting like hell. She steadys herself against the wall while she looks at that creature laying next to her with a mixture of anger and disgust.

"Whatever this was, it was no halfling. I am wondering what happened to the real Walthus?"

She then mooves her hand over hte injured area, faint light glowing around her hand and the wound.

Cure Light wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Asira casts Cure light wound on herself.

Just to make sure, am I assumed to be unconscious?

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

"Poison? Let me see, maybe I can help."

Her face turns sorrowfull as she steps closer, intending to examine Walthus to see if she can help.

Heal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

"We are from Sandpoint and were looking for your help, but it seems that you are in need of our help too. Are you hurt?"

Asira steps forward, her hands open to show that she means no harm.

"You want to stay here and admire the architecture or do you want to learn if Walthus is here?²

Asira says Mockingly before approaching the shack and knocking at the door.

"Walthus, are you here? We are from Sandpoint and would like your help with some directions."

Still laughing Asira crosses the bridge, carefull to not step into the blood of the snake.

"And you're sure that you did not make this up?"

Asira laughs loud.

"So who was dead first Ruhk?"

Sorry, was my fault, perhaps I better attack the snake with my spear then

attack with spear: 1d20 ⇒ 2
damage against small creature: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Asira walks forward to where Marduzi stands and touches him slightly on his shoulder, casting Guidance.

initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

"Let's hope that these goblins are not hidden too deep in the marshes."

Assuming Marduzi and Smoke got across the brifge without any harm, she follows them over the bridge.

Asira is in a good mood now and relaxes, even making some jokes from time to time. She is in the back of the group, right in front of Rukh

"Perhaps we should try to stay together."

Asira adjusts her crown of flowers a little and smiles.

"Thanks for the flowers, though."

Asira follows the others down the trail, grapping her spear and checking their surroundings for any surprises.

Asira is visibly afraid for a short moment, but quickly shakes this off.

"What was that?

Asira grabs her spear closer and looks around cautious.

"What's that? There is something there."

her voice is but a whispering and she points into the swamp.

just checking in to show that i am still here too.

Let's hope all together. I hope for him, that nothing serious happened.

Let's hope that everything is ok with himm then.

Yes, it would be a shame if it folds...

Asira is excited as she heads to the meeting point where she meets up with the others, before starting to the Marshes. She carries a spear with and exchanged the skirt for a pair of pants.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 Perception

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 initiative

"Yes, let's meet at dawn."

She pauses for a moment, realizing how late it already is.

Perhaps we should all go and get a good night full of sleep."

Asira will retire to her home too, when everyone is done talking.

"Sure, we could ask around a bit, does anybody know someone who is out there regulary?"

Asira downs her ale in one sip and puts her tankard down onto the table.

"So when do we start our little adventure?"

So it is not so much a stretch to go out adventuring together when we are at least a little bit familiar with each other...

I think this can lead to a better party cohesion than with complete strangers...

Asira laughs about Ruhk's joke, a loud and joyfull laughter. After she stops laughing, she notices Mei.

Oh Mei, sorry I didn't notice you before." She gives Mei a short hug too. "Please sit with us."

She waits until Mai sits down and has a drink to before she turns to the others again.

"So hunting 'licktoad' Goblins in the Brinestump Marshes then? That sounds like a plan."

She turns again to Cobb.

You said there was a halfling lifing in the Marshes who can help us? Has this halfling a name and do you know where he lives exactly there?"

It really seems that we all are somehow connected to Koya ;-)

Asira studies the paper hangign there.

A bounty on those goblins? Should I...? Why not it might be fun to leave this town a little and perhaps they need my assistance...

She follows the others inside puling her hood back again.

"I'll accompany you two if you don't mind. Could be fun to get out of town for a while.

She hangs her coat onto a hook next to the door and you can swear it jumps off the hook before she lifts it from the floor again to hang it there again. She has a resignated smile in her face for a moment.

Sure, let's follow the others outside."

Asira pull her hood up too and follows Nostariel out of the door.

I think I finished Asira ruleswise. Still have to type the description, but that shouldn't take to long. Will do it when I get home from work this evening (Yesterday the forum lost my complete posting of Asira's stats once and I had to retype all the data. Should have typed and saved it in word before posting it to her profile... ;-) )

Asira joins Nostariel in the dancing, loosing herself for a time in the movement.

As the thudding begins she stops, looking over to Nostariel whom she finds standing at the window peering out and she walks up besides her.

"What do you see? What is causing this noise?" she asks still laughing and out of breath from the dance while trying to peer out next to the elven woman.

Asira smiles wide as Marduzi enters the Inn. She offers him the place next to hers, motioning for the serving girl, so that she can take Marduzi's order.

Greetings brother. Things are fine with me, even though mom still wouldn't let me join a caravan. And how are things with you? How's working for the sheriff?

She waits for you to place your order.

Yes, goblins, seems like those little pests are getting emboldened as they have gotten their claws on some fireworks. They attacked several local travellers. Let's see what the Sheriff will do about them."

As Asira notices the elven Varisian she waves to her.

The varisian woman enters the Rusty Dragon, pulling back the hood of her coatand looks around through searching for an empty table. She then decides for a place at the bar.

Asira sits down on a stool at the bar and after the serving girl brought her an ale, she turns around looking across the room and listening to the talk while taking a deep sip from her tankard.

Goblins they say... with fireworks... how could those little buggers got their little claws on them?

You are right, judging from the backgrounds, Marduzi and Asira should definetley know each other.

I am updating Asira to an Oracle of Heavens, hopefully I will have her up later.

Really looking forward to play in this ;-)

HP 18 was a mistake from me, sorry. I used an existing character for the template and just forgot to change the HP.

I am going with an oracle of Heavens then. It does not hurt to have a divine caster in the group.

Just to highten my chances, but I think I can also imagine Asira also as an Oracle of Heavens if there would be a need of a divine caster

Asira's background is in the profile. Feats and one Trait are missing as are the spells. I will provide the later this day bit I think you have enough information for judging Asira your decission.

So, this is my starsoul sorceress.
