Toni smiles and deals out the cards. She plays a few games with Rajni before yawning. "I'm going to take a nap before dinner. I'll see you when I get up."

"A few," Toni answers. "We can play something easygoing or something more strategic."

Toni plops down on the couch and waits for Rajni.

Once they reach the tailor's shop, Toni holds open the door for Rajni. "After you."

"Eh, it's a bit too cold for a walk," Toni remarks. "I guess we can go back to the house and play cards for a bit."

She puts five gold coins on the table. "Ready to go?"

Toni gives a slight hum in agreement before devoting her attention to her meal. She polishes off the cider once her plate is clean. Toni lets out a satisfied sigh. "What else would you like to do before the day is over?"

Toni nods. "Good. I won't have to track you down then."

Toni takes a few bites of her food before taking a drink of cider. "Mm, that's good."

She looks up at Rajni. "I figured I'd have one last breakfast with everyone at the house before heading out. Are you going to be at Dillon's tonight?"

"Looks good," Toni says. "Thanks, Hadrinn."

Toni returns the smile. "I'll be back before you know it."

"I don't really drink either, but...it seemed like the occasion for it," Toni says. "I think I'm done talking to people for the day, so I don't need to worry about embarrassing myself."

"It's my last day in town for a while, so...I'll take whatever's your strongest," Toni laughs.

"I'll give the goose a try too," Toni says.

Toni looks around the crowded restaurant. "I don't know what he's made, but it must be popular."

"Enough to get to Lysse and resupply if I need to," Toni answers as they reach the restaurant. She holds the door open for her friend then follows Rajni inside.

Toni nods. "Yeah, it'll be a while before I taste food as good as his again. I'm sure someone in our group can cook...but I'm pretty sure that they're not as good as Hadrinn."

"Hadrinn's sounds really good right about now," Toni answers.

Toni gives Rajni a thumbs-up and waits by the door.

Toni looks up at Rajni coming down the stairs after she closes the front door. "Ready to eat?"

Toni waves as the group leaves. Smiling to herself, she was content that Malyoxa was finally happy and, if giving up being the Szef did that, it was worth it.

Toni nods. "Yes, we can meet at Michael's school after breakfast."

Toni shakes her head. "Not really. I have to get going. She and I are going to have lunch together. I'll see you all in the morning."

She gets up and goes to the kitchen door. "I'll walk you out."

"I'll eat here," Toni answers. "I think that would be easiest on Rajni."

Toni nods. "I'll see if Toska and his friend still want to go along."

Toni takes a seat. "Right now, my concern isn't Hyggindi. He's strong and crafty...maybe too strong for us. My focus is on getting rid of what he wants: the mana well. So the plan is to head to Lysse tomorrow morning and talk with a wizard there who might give us some idea of how to destroy the mana well. After that, we'll figure out a plan."

Toni walks into the kitchen. "Good morning."

Toni sighs, looking from Rajni to Elena. "I'm going to put something up in my room and then I'll go talk to them."

She then walks to the back of the shop and goes into her bedroom.

"Yeah," Toni says. "I know you're going to worry, but don't let that distract that from everything that's here. Juhi's still going to rely on you. Dillon too."

She opens the door. "Plus you have that job you need to keep up with."

Toni gives Rajni a wan smile as they reach the tailor's shop. "I'm glad you find me easy to talk to."

"You've got stuff on your mind and no one else to talk about it with," Toni says. "It's alright."

"I can't say that I relate or understand, but I'm glad for you," Toni responds.

Toni smirks. "You've got it bad. Sure, let's drop this off and then go get some lunch."

"I really can't think of anything I need," Toni says. "I am getting a little hungry, though."

"It should," Toni says to Michael before turning to Rajni. "I still have that crossbow, so I think I can use that and see how it goes."

She starts walking back toward the tailor shop. "And I do have armor."

"Thanks, Rajni," Toni says, taking the orb. "What do I owe you, Michael?"

"Kjell's prices were a bit out of my range," Toni says. "But Rajni is a ranger, could that work for what you're thinking?"

"I'm not sure," Toni said. "We'll see, I guess."

"I did talk to Michael ahead of time," Toni says. "I just wasn't specific about when."

"Alright, let's go," Toni says, heading for the door. "Have a good day, Kjell."

Toni glances over her shoulder. "I wasn't talking to you."

"Maybe we can talk to Michael...if you don't mind."

"Nah, it was just a thought since I used to handle guns a lot back...then," Toni says, consciously trying not to say 'home'. It was gone and there was no point trying to hold onto that life anymore. "Michael says I have untapped potential since I gave up my Summoner powers...but I need something or someone with the knowledge of the new path I want to take, so I can learn it all in a short amount of time."

She shrugs. "But I need to do something before I leave. I won't be much help if I'm getting attacked by goblins and can't do much more than flail around with a crossbow."

"Ah, no..."

"Err...I have some healing potions I can trade," Toni says, the shock on her face obvious.

"A pistol, I guess," Toni says. "Michael says I should be able to repair a broken one once I've been 'trained', so we can do that if it's cheaper."

"I've heard you're the person I can get a gun from," Toni says. "And a 'gunslinger's manual', whatever that means."

"I'm not making any promises, but I'll do my best," Toni says as they reach Kjell's shop. She opens the door for Rajni before following the fetchling inside.

Toni sighs softly. "No, I don't think anyone will let me go by myself."

"A gun and a book," Toni answers. "When I talked to Dillon and Michael, they were concerned that I wasn't defend myself the way I could when I was the Szef...so, I'm trying to fix that before I leave."

"Sure," Toni says, walking forward.
