Toni smirks. "You've got it bad. Sure, let's drop this off and then go get some lunch."
"Are you making a suggestion?" Alethiro asks.
Rajni blushes as she shrugs slightly, "I just...I can't explain it really...but I just love him. I know we haven't known each other long...and while things are a bit fuzzy about the night we met...I felt something in here." She says, putting a hand against her chest, "A little funny in my stomach too, but not in a bad way. I don't think I'm crazy for loving someone, or wanting to spend my life with him. He's just about all I think about Toni." Sighing she looks at the ground, "A few weeks feel like forever right now."
Arista smirks slighthly, "Maaayyybe, but it might have to wait till a certain young lady goes down for her nap after lunch." She says, indicating Celine.
Looking thoughtful for a moment she looks around, "Where did Theon go? I haven't seen him since before I left. Did he go to check on Pandi, or just go out to look around the town? I was just wondering if you knew, it's okay if you don't. I was just curious if we were actually gonna be alone in the house for a little bit after she goes down for her nap." Arista's coloring darkens slightly as she looks at her husband, the corners of her mouth turning up into a little smirk.
"He took a nap while you were out," Alethiro says. "Once he got up, he told me he'd be going out and he'll be back around dinner."
"I can't say that I relate or understand, but I'm glad for you," Toni responds.
Arista's smile gets a little bigger, "So, we'll be alone once she goes down for a nap?"
Rajni kind of shrugs, "It's okay, I'm notg sured why I brought all of it up. I guess...part of me is still upset that they were totally fine with Elena running off andc getting married after only knowing Kama for a couple of days, but after knowing Dillion for a couple ofc weeks, I'm crazyh for wanting to marry him? Dillon told me that maybed they weren't as okay with Elena's sudden plans as they seemed to be, and that they were just transferring their feelings to me....but it still hurt." She kind of sighs, "Mama told me she was sorry though, sdo I guess I should just let it go. I don't know....I'm sorry Toni, I don't know why all of this is coming out of me right now. I shouldn't be ruining our time together with all this whining."
Alethiro grins. "Seems like it."
"You've got stuff on your mind and no one else to talk about it with," Toni says. "It's alright."
She nods, "Yeah, and I guess it's easier for me to talk about it with you, cuz I know you won't call me crazy or anything..and, well....because you're my friend. Anyways, it's easy for me to talk to you, like it's easy to talk to Dillon."
"Hurry and finish your sandwich Celine and mommy will let you have your treat before your nap." She says, the smile never leaving her lips as she gives her husband a mischievous wink.
Toni gives Rajni a wan smile as they reach the tailor's shop. "I'm glad you find me easy to talk to."
Alethiro shakes his head slightly, surprised by his wife's sudden amorousness.
As they reach the tailor shop, Rajni hesitates before going inside. Putting a hand on Toni's arm she says, "You're my best friend, of course I'm more comfortable talking to you about some stuff. You and Dillon....you're like the only two people who really understand me and can help me make sense of stuff when it's rattling around in my head. Sometimes...I don't even realize how much something is bothering me till I start talking about it with you. I....I'm really going to miss you while you're gone....and that's not me trying to make you feel guilty, that's just how I feel. You're my friend, and I'm going to support you no matter what....but, I just can't help how I feel sometimes. Especially when it concerns someone I care so much about."
Taking her hand off of her arm, Rajni gives her hug as she tries desperately to keep her emotions in check, "Just be careful okay?" Taking a breath, Rajni lets go of her friend and tries to quickly wipe her eyes before stepping back a bit, "We better get this stuff inside so we can go eat huh?"
Celine does as she's told a finishes her sandwich and milk before holding up her hands, "All done mommy. I has my treat now?"
Arista laughs a little and pulls out the small piece of candy that Halfpocket gave her for Celine, "Thank you for being such a good girl while we were out, and for listening to me after we got home." She says, handing it to Celine, who immediately puts it in her mouth and hums as she enjoys the delicious treat.
"When you're all done, please go use the potty and wash your hands. After you get ready for your nap, mommy will come tuck you into bed." She says, as she watches her little girl enjoy her treat for being good.
The candy practically melts in her mouth and has her swaying from side to side as she enjoys it.
As soon as she's done, Celine runs to the bathroom and uses it. She washes her hands and face, dries them on the towel, and then goes to her room. After changing into her pajamas that lie on her bed, she takes honey out to go potty quickly, before letting her back inside.
Once they are both in her bed she calls out, "I ready you see me mommy!"
Giving her husband a smirk, she pauses to kiss him softly, "I'll be back in just a few minutes." Arista goes to her daughters room to read her a story and put her down for her nap.
She reads the one about the beanstalk, and the giants. A little over halfway through the story, she hears snoring coming from her daughter. Putting the book down, she gives Celine's forehead a kiss before leaving the room to find her husband. It had been too long since they had some time alone, and she needed him.
Alethiro sits on the couch in the living room as Arista walks in. "Everything good?"
"Yeah," Toni says. "I know you're going to worry, but don't let that distract that from everything that's here. Juhi's still going to rely on you. Dillon too."
She opens the door. "Plus you have that job you need to keep up with."
Elena sees Rajni and Toni walk in. "You have some visitors, Toni. They're in the kitchen."
Toni sighs, looking from Rajni to Elena. "I'm going to put something up in my room and then I'll go talk to them."
She then walks to the back of the shop and goes into her bedroom.
Elena smiles at Rajni. "How are you feeling, Rajni?"
Rajni sighs and gives Toni a nod as she heads to her room. Not wanting to worry her sister at the moment, Rajni tries to keep her feelings off of her face.
Returning her sister's smile, Rajni gives her a gentle hug. "I'm okay, how about you? How are you feeling today?"
Giving her love a smile, Arista goes to him. Reaching her hand out for his, "Everything is just fine, she didn't even make it to the end of the story before passing out."
"Just having a little trouble catching my breath today," Elena replies.
Alethiro takes Arista's hand. "Shall we go to the bedroom then?"
Rajni nods, "I'm glad to see you looking a little better. I'm sorry if it seems like I worry too much sometimes."
She smiles as he takes her hand, "Yes, I would like to very much."
Elena smiles warmly at Rajni. "Worrying is just part of who you are. Showing concern is better than not saying anything at all."
Alethiro stands up and guides Arista to the bedroom. He pulls her close for a tender kiss before leading her to the bed.
Rajni steps closer to her sister and wraps her arms around Elena, "I love you so much, and I'll probably never stop worrying about the ones I care so deeply for....but, I'll do my best not to overdo it okay? I just...I want everyone to be safe...and happy." Rajni holds onto Elena gently, but keeps her close. She was afraid that if she let go of her sister too soon, that she wouldn't be able to hold back everything she was feeling.
Rajni takes a few deep breaths to try and steady herself before pulling back from her sister, "I...I should probably get cleaned up from working and everything. Dillon will be coming over later and I don't wanna be all stinky." Rajni retreats from the room, having seen Jin and the others, she knew that Toni would be leaving soon and she didn't know how long she could hide her feelings from her family. They just had a way of getting stuff out of her.
Rajni gathers up some clean clothes and heads to the bathroom to get cleaned up, and calm her nerves while Toni talks to the others. If she hurried, she could take a quick bath and be ready in time to go eat with Toni before she had to leave. As she runs the water in the tub, she washes her face in the sink and tries to keep from crying. She didn't really know what it was she was feeling or why, but she couldn't seem to help it. Rajni muffles the sound coming from her with a washcloth as shed gets in the tub. The warm water is soothing as she concentrates on quickly cleaning herself up.
Arista returns the kiss with a bit more heat. When the get to the bed she caresses his cheek softly, "I've really missed you. I'm sorry we haven't had more time together."
Alethiro sits down beside Arista. "That's life with children, pets and responsibilities. Not your fault."
Nodding she says, "Yeah, I know...I just never want to make you feel like you're not important to me, because you are. I love you."
"I know," Alethiro says, leaning in to kiss Arista.
Arista leans into the kiss as she wraps her arms around him, "I need you so much."
Rajni dunks herself beneath the water as she tries to regain some semblance of control. Coming up for air, she doused her face with cold water a few times to try and hide thed redness of her eyes before quickly finishing up and getting out of the tub.
Closing her eyes, she takes a few deep breaths and lets them out slowly as she shoves down her feelings. Getting dressed, she dries her hair as much as possible before leaving it loose around her shoulders. She hadn't realized how long it had gotten, going well past her shoulder blades. Using a comb to sweep back her bangs, she leaves the rest loose.
Once dressed, she heads back down to the kitchen.
"Mm, I need you too, my love," Alethiro whispers.
Arista runs her hands up underneath his shirt. She presses herself against him, while running her fingernails along his back. Leaning into him, she begins kissing along his neck, to his earlobe, and then moves towards his lips. She deepens the kiss as her longing takes over, her hands massaging his back as her passion seems to ignite.
Toni looks up at Rajni coming down the stairs after she closes the front door. "Ready to eat?"
Nodding she goes to grab her boots, "Yeah, I just need to put my boots on and I'll be ready to go."
Toni gives Rajni a thumbs-up and waits by the door.
Alethiro leans back to undo the ties of Arista's top.
Arsita moans softly and shrugs off her top as her husband undoes the ties.
Rajni puts on her boots and goes to the door, "So, where do ya wanna go to eat?"
"Hadrinn's sounds really good right about now," Toni answers.
Rajni nods as they leave the house, "Yeah, there are lots of good cooks in this town, but he just does the most amazing things with food."
Toni nods. "Yeah, it'll be a while before I taste food as good as his again. I'm sure someone in our group can cook...but I'm pretty sure that they're not as good as Hadrinn."
