I have gone through all the requests I have received thus far. I have 18-20 openings left in each time slot.

I put myself in for a Tier 1 position, with the expectation of sleeping on the floor/chair in Kyle Baird's room. However, if that falls through, I'm hoping there is some goodwill in the community and I can pay for some floorspace in another's room.

I have never GM'd PFS before, but I have over 3 years GM experience.

What would I have to learn between now and the CON to handle a tier 1 slot or 12?

I recommend downloading the Guide to Organized Play. Read through it and you should have all the info you need.

I'm coming to Gencon this year, though. Might be able to GM some then.

Thanks to the overwhelming response, all 150 tables of Pathfinder Society have been filled with GMs. If you would like to add your name to a waiting list in case a GM has to cancel the trip or pull out for the lottery events, or some other event, send me an email. I will add people to the waiting list in the order as I receive them.

As for the Grand Convocation, I don't want to reveal too much yet. I will reveal more in a blog in the near future. But it is going to be much more than just the arena.

I sent you an email....as soon as I read the announcement email. So, stick me on the waiting list... :-S I had a blast last year.

I ran a couple slots last year, but this year all I want to do is run one of my own games and then play a ton of games. I think I will pass on volunteering this year.

If I manage to get a homebrew game ready, I'll probably sink one of slots for a waiting list GM (so sign up!)

If it is anything at all like three years ago, it will be fantastic! That one was essentially low-pressure, high-energy live-action role-playing with dice gaming blended in. You can probably find more details with a forum search, but I'd actually suggest going in "blind" (and perhaps costumed), and just enjoy.

You thought about doing Beginner Box Games for Kids that come to the convention with their parents?

Be afraid. I'll be GMing at the event for 4 slots. Kyle and some others played with me (or ran me) at Origins last year. I'm looking forward to my cross-country trip to play and meet people.

It will be similar to 3 years ago but better. We are improving and adding to the ideas from the first Grand Convocation. And, I encourage costumes as I may have prizes for a costume contest. Look for my blog in a couple of weeks.

Very possible. Nothing firm yet but I have some thoughts.

Is there a slot during the banquet?

No, as the space in which all gaming will be taking place is the same as where the banquet is being held. And that we hope most attendees are able to get into the larger-capacity banquet than in years past.

If you didn't manage to get a chance to volunteer to GM PFS tables, there is still an oppurtunity to GM and "run" an NPC at the Grand Convocation on Friday night.

I have started a thread specifically for this. Respond there if you are interested.

It'd be great if Tier 3 GM's got a 1/4 room like GM volunteers at Origins do. I would go if that was an option. Maybe make a new Tier, Tier 4 GM's that get a badge, 1/4 room, the special boon and (maybe) the $10 per slot coupon. They have to judge 8 slots for that at Origins and I see only 6 slots here so maybe its not feasible at the moment. Something to think about for next time maybe?
