Out in the middle of the twisted moorlands lies the fabled Temple of Evil... Or so they say.
But when two young sisters on their first adventure fail to return, apparently dead, on an expedition arranged by two other adventurers who happen to return unscathed, the girls’ father asks you to investigate whether there has been any foul play involved; and you rather think that there has.
Four Dollar Dungeons are standalone adventures designed to be logical, entertaining, challenging and balanced, and easily integrated into any campaign world.
Each adventure has enough material to last two to three playing sessions and enough experience to raise four characters of the appropriate level up by one extra level. Treasure is commensurate with the encounter challenges faced. Scaling information is included for adventuring parties of five or six.
This investigative adventure is mainly set within the boundaries of a wealthy but remote town, though some of the activity also takes place in the moorlands that surround it.

Shipwrecked on an island though not because of bad weather or a hostile sea but because something massive came out of it and smashed the ship to pieces.
What on earth was that thing, and what’s so important about this island that no one’s supposed to leave it?
Why is the whole place teeming with divine servitors almost as if every god wishes to have a representative here, and what on earth happened to the civilisation that used to once call this place “home”?
Most importantly of all: How are you supposed to get away?

A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game adventure for 4-6 characters of level 4.
Jean Lemaistre, celebrated cavalier of the Order of the Lily, defeated the vampires of Château Rougemord many winters ago, though he himself perished in the process. Having no wish to be brought back to life, in common with most cavaliers of his Order, Lemaistre was entombed near the village of Sans-Secours, close to the château, with all of his possessions either bequeathed to the Order or sent back to his family.
All, that is, except for his banner, the “Fleur de Lis”, which inexplicably failed to return, and which the Order is now paying you handsomely to retrieve for them from Lemaistre’s tomb, which is presumably where it ended up.
So wrapped up in warm winter clothing you have journeyed into the mountains in the hope that the trail that you now seek has neither gone too cold nor regained any of its former danger. After all, it has been fifty years…

With a strange hollow "pop!" and an alarming smell of junipers your environment suddenly changes from the comfort of your own home to the centre of a circle of monolithic stones in a cold damp field at midnight. Around you other adventurers are appearing in similar fashion: one apparently in the middle of a bath; another doing something with a partner that obviously didn't make the journey with them. Piles of adventuring equipment, some of it yours, clatter around you like litter.
As you slowly gain your bearings and take stock of your surroundings a nervous gasp to one side reveals a group of seven children standing between the stones and staring at you in wide-eyed horror. One of them approaches you with a book held high in hand: "Demons, I command thee," he calls out in a trembling voice. "Return to thine abode!"
Unfortunately, you don't.

A Pathfinder Roleplaying Game adventure for 4-6 characters of level 1.
The blizzard comes up out of nowhere, its storm clouds rushing overhead as if dragged over the sky by a chariot. One minute you're travelling through open countryside with spring in the air and a spring in your step, the next you're fighting for survival against cold, rain, sleet, snow and a howling gale that is threatening to flay the skin right off your body.
It seems like an inauspicious start to your adventuring career...
... or perhaps not. Who, in truth, knows how to interpret the omens of the gods. Just as all seems lost and you are certain you will freeze to death you spot a light up ahead which resolves itself into the upstairs window of an isolated traveller's inn. The inn's sign, swaying crazily in the wind, gives the establishment its name: "World's End."
Which given how you're feeling right now seems eerily appropriate...

Goblins have been raiding the crops and livestock of “Pig’s Trotter” for the last few weeks now. Nobody knows where they’ve come from or what they’re doing here but local farmers are sufficiently displeased with their activities to have offered a 200gp reward to have them stopped.
Sounds like a nice little job for a neophyte group of adventurers out for their first taste of fame and glory. “I mean it’s just a Goblin-Bash, right? What could possibly go wrong …”

The Gardens of Marina lie forlorn and neglected in an unfashionable district of the coastal city of Morphoton. A single senile gardener tends to the vegetation but the magnificent central fountain which once drew in visitors for miles around now lies dry, forgotten and broken. Those who remember why the fountain was built shake their heads at this neglect whilst glancing nervously down dark alleys and suspiciously at strangers. When the party is bequeathed a valuable painting of the fountain with a cryptic message written on its back it would seem as if the time has arrived for them to begin investigations – wherever they might lead …
