Pathfinder Friday: The History of Golarion's Ages!

The history of Golarion is divided up into distinct Ages. In this episode, James Jacobs breaks down each age and what made each one unique. It's a great primer on the history of Golarion!

Pathfinder Friday streams live every Friday at 4 pm Pacific on our Twitch channel. Join us in the Q&A, won't you?

Starfinder Wednesday: When Starfinder Was Still Pathfinder!

We have Starfinder's first Creative Director, James L. Sutter on the show to take us back to the beginning. We initially set out to talk about the new Adventure Path, Dawn of Flame. We ended up talking about Starfinder elements that were created before it was a game! It's a stroll down memory lane with stories and anecdotes about a time when Starfinder was still Pathfinder.

Starfinder Wednesday streams live every Wednesday at 4pm Pacific at Twitch.tv/officialpaizo.

That's good to know that Golarion will be moving forward plot/time wise in the new edition, and how the APs have changed the world, but I wonder, will the same be for the modules and pathfinder society scenarios?

It already is true in PFS scenarios. Recent adventures have mentioned the Worldwound being closed.

I couldn't find it on YouTube, but I did find it on Twitch.

We will post it this week and next Saturday’s blog day post will include Starfinder Wednesday, Oblivion Oath, and Pathfinder Friday. Your old buddy Dan needs his editing time. ;)

How about some short summary in good old text?
I don't like to watch overlong videos listening to people who are not professional speakers.

I really enjoy Pathfinder Friday and Starfinder Wednesday and watch them regularly on Twitch. I enjoy listening too and getting a feel for what the people who contribute so much to my hobby are like as people. The narrative on how a concept/adventure/location/monster/character was developed is always interesting too. I like Dan as a host too as he comes across as a real person not as a company shill.**

**although Dan mate I love you but .... that "we'll laugh and high five " part out your 'outro' has never rung true and mostly comes across as been as authentic as seven dollar note.

Sorry guys, but this content is a bit too free form for my taste. A more edited piece that makes use of more of the concept art would make for a far more enjoyable 10-15 minutes, than a meandering 30-minute podcast-style conversation.

Isn't it rather inappropriate for brand new blogs like this one to be placed in the "Archive" folder? "Paizo General Discussion" might make more sense.

Noted. This will be corrected. Thank you.

Enjoying the heck out of these free flowing and streaming discussions. As soon as we start editorializing these discussions, then it becomes just another polished thing. Polished is cool, but there is a much needed place for a more freeform type of discussion.

We already have official blogs and products for the polished stuff, let's leave space for the freeform. Thanks!

You will see both polished and freeform videos posted in the days to come. Thank you all for your input.

I'd like to see the FAQs kept in the YouTube videos. I *really* dislike the Twitch app, but with YouTube I can turn off my phone and listen as a podcast--but I miss those FAQs!

I really like this round up...hope it continues. Though I will echo Lord Kakabel, please leave the Q&A in the video...it was annoying to have to go and find it, or at least put a link in to the Twitch video.
