Beginner Box Add-On Content is Live!

You’ve heard all about it, you’ve seen the unboxing, and pretty soon you’ll have your hands on your own copy of the highly awaited Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Beginner Box. But why wait for your first look at the Beginner Box now that paizo.com/beginnerbox is live?!

Just follow the link, or click on the new logo to the top left of this page, to head on over to the Beginner Box page, where you’ll find tons of details on the box itself, Wizkids’ Pathfinder Beginner Box Heroes Miniatures Set, pregenerated characters and character sheets, new Beginner Box discussion forums, and two free expansion PDFs packed with new content for players and Game Masters alike. In the first of these PDFs, the Beginner Box Player Pack, heroes will find new abilities, feats, skills, and equipment for every Beginner Box class, as well as a completely new base class, the barbarian, who storms into adventure with a brutal new way to play. There's been some discussion about that, but - as of this second - doing so is not on the agenda. If there's enough interest and that changes we'll let folks know.

It's just a dumb artifact of how Facebook imports text on our blog posts. The link works fine, as does the picture.

Is it erratum that the blank character sheet has Wizard cantrips on it? Or that it also has certain skills highlighted?

Nope.

The Wizard's Spellbook section of the generic sheet (hopefully) obviously applies to Wizards only, and they do automatically get those cantrips.

The skills in red can be used untrained, and the skills in grey are trained only. (There's a footnote to that effect at the bottom of the skills list.)
