Just this week, I finished development of RPG Superstar 2010 winner Matthew Goodall's awesome Pathfinder Module, Cult of the Ebon Destroyers. One of the best parts of the process was seeing the final art come in for the evil cultists who make this such an evocative adventure. So do what I did while poring over Matt's turnover and set your Pandora station to sitar music, get yourself a tangy curry or some buttered naan, and check out these pieces from Carolina Eade. Cult of the Ebon Destroyers is currently anticipated in stores and on paizo.com in January 2011.

that's one hot cultist!

Hot but scary. Much like my brother's cooking whenever he gets his hands on some Garam Masaala.

The artwork is great!

If that is what the female cultists look like ... can I join?

I don't know, the glowing yellow eyes are kind of a turn off.

Insanely good art! Must. Have. Module.

Says you. ;P

The broken fingers on the cult's symbol are a nice touch; subtle and unsettling.

You were looking at the eyes?

Dammit, Carolina Eade! Why do you have to make evil so attractive? First Cheliax and now this!

srsly, very excited about all the Vudrani goodness coming our way. I've been waiting for this one for quite some time.

Did anyone else think the second pic was of one of the more non-humanoid/freaky angels at first? Along the lines of that burning wheel fellow that serves Sarenrae, I mean. Seems like there could be countless such beings fitting into the Vudran scene, both benign and malign.

The cultist's shoes are cute.

I don't know why that stands out.

I admit it wasn't the first place I looked. :-D

Yeah. I noticed her flaming chakram, too.

What?

Actually it was the pointy shoes that caught my eye. ;)

I know, right?

Like a particularly lethal Christmas elf.

Only not an elf at all and not so much Christmas-y what with being into the whole goddess of darkness and murder thing.

But other than that, like a particularly lethal Christmas elf.

Cute as a butto-HURK

At first I thought, "Nah. They're just posed at an extreme angle is all."

Then I tried stretching my own fingers that way.

The picture makes me wince in sympathetic pain now.
