You are welcome, Evindyl.
I am waiting for Elton's response to my question about the laser before I post next in gameplay....as it might very well be Uthor's act of opening the door that triggered the alarm....
...and if that is the case, does your recent post stand (time edit window is was still open), as in Jaime thinking Uthor had nothing to do with the alarm going off when it might have been Uthor opening the door that triggered the laser detection to activate?
| Uthor. |
After a month of RL, I (the player) forgot the plan and phasing. Uthor would not have forgotten after 10 minutes from making the plan.
So, I'm still going to leave, because the pace of this game is not my speed.
Enjoy the game!

In the past month, a lot of games lost 2 weeks (not 1 week) due to Paizo.com being shut down completely for 1 week - the reason 2 weeks for some games, is many worked with the website being shut down for the original planned week-long shutdown, to discover the following week the week-long shutdown was delayed by a week.
I then had a death in the family, with the members of our group giving condolences (thank you again), and with Thanskgiving being later in the week I got back home from traveling, Elton offered to delay the game until after Thankgiving.
So those three weeks of no gameplay postings are not typical of the posting rate of our campaign.
Monday, Nov. 3, 2025: last morning before Paizo planned to shut down for a week to work on new store. Many PBPers did not bother to check the website during this week (as they were working with it being offline).
Thurs, Nov 6: last gameplay post before the weekend, with Monday, Nov 10 being the day that was the beginning of the week-long Paizo.com website shutdown.
Monday, Nov. 17: website back online, I post in gameplay. Later that day I discover one of my brothers has died. I travel later during the week to be with my family during the sad week. As I was checking gameplay/discussion each day before I left to travel and no one else had posted yet, I did not reveal one of my brothers had passed away.
Sunday, Nov. 23 & 24: others post in discussion, aware that website is back online.
Tuesday, Nov. 25 (three days before American Thanksgiving): I tell all of you I was away for the weekend due to my brother dying. Condolences for me and my family are given. Elton asks if we want to wait until Friday (after Thanksgiving) to resume. Evindyl suggests I give myself a minute (to give me some additonal time to grieve).
Thursday, Nov. 27: Elton posts a recap in gameplay.
Monday, Dec. 1: I post in discussion, asking if everyone is ready to resume.
Next post is not until Saturday, Dec. 6, when Elton asks us if any of us want to resume play. We clearly do by our responses. If the extra week of delaying gameplay was to give me more time to grieve, thank you.
So anyone judging the past month of what is this group's typical posting rate usually is, did not include some significant factors, with one factor being that many PBP campaigns lost an effective two weeks instead of only 1 week due to the planned shutdown of the website we have our campaigns on.
@Uthor: If you reconsider staying, I have already suggested (in one of my gameplay posts) what could have caused Uthor (and Chance) to have apparently forgotten the plan (someone with powers messing with their minds/memories) that Elton could work in.
