Brimble's arm still stings a bit from his earlier blood sacrifice, so perhaps it's no wonder that he finds himself drawn to the picks, despite his words to Forgewise about not being terribly eager to take a weapon for himself. His concerns about the size remain valid, of course, but-- what's this?
One pick is smaller than the others, more the size of the rock hammers that the GMC issued you. It is steel, not gold, somewhat more plain and less ornamented than some of the other weapons. The head has a stylized snarling hound's head, from whose mouth the pick-point itself emerges like an oversized tongue, or tooth.

A bow hangs on the wall-- a far cry from the longbows of wood that you might have happened to see used by a hunter or a passing adventurer. This one is made of metals both dark and bright, and has dozens of gears and wheels built into it, and many a dwarven rune laid in gold on its frame.

A crystal orb stands on an ornate golden pedestal. The pedestal is decorated with many runes and the typical dwarven stylized art; the ball itself is featureless, gleaming. A light pulses in its depths, and grows brighter as you approach.
