Skills
Perception (1 rank, + 1 Wis, +3 class skill) = 5
Stealth (1 rank, + 2 Dex, + 3 class skill) = 6
Survival (+ 1 Wis, + 4 racial) = 5 when tracking by scent
========================================================================
Class Skills: Skill points equal to 2 + Int modifier (minimum 1) per Hit Die. The following are class skills for animals: Acrobatics, Climb, Fly, Perception, Stealth, and Swim.
Traits: An animal posseses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature's entry):
Intelligence score of 1 or 2 (no creature with an Intelligence score of 3 or higher can be an animal).
Low-light vision
Alignment: Always neutral
Proficient with its natural weapons only. A noncombative herbivore treats its natural weapons as secondary attacks. Such attacks are made with a –5 penalty on the creature’s attack rolls, and the animal receives only 1/2 its Strength modifier as a damage adjustment.
Proficient with no armor unless trained for war.
Animals breathe, eat, and sleep.
====================================================================
Armr Proficiency, Light
You are skilled at wearing light armor.
Benefit: When you wear a type of armor with which you are proficient, the armor check penalty for that armor applies only to Dexterity- and Strength-based skill checks.
Normal: A character who is wearing armor with which he is not proficient applies its armor check penalty to attack rolls and to all skill checks that involve moving.
Special: All characters except monks, sorcerers, and wizards automatically have Light Armor Proficiency as a bonus feat. They need not select it.
========================================================================
Total Tricks Known: 8 (6 base, 1 from animal companion, 1 from trait)
Attack (x2): The animal attacks apparent enemies. You may point to a particular creature that you wish the animal to attack, and it will comply if able. Normally, an animal will attack only humanoids, monstrous humanoids, giants, or other animals. Teaching an animal to attack all creatures (including such unnatural creatures as undead and aberrations) counts as two tricks.
Come: The animal comes to you, even if it normally would not do so.
Defend: The animal defends you (or is ready to defend you if no threat is present), even without any command being given. Alternatively, you can command the animal to defend another specific character.
Down: The animal breaks off from combat or otherwise backs down. An animal that doesn’t know this trick continues to fight until it must flee (due to injury, a fear effect, or the like) or its opponent is defeated.
Heel: The animal follows you closely, even to places where it normally wouldn’t go.
Perform: The animal performs a variety of simple tricks, such as sitting up, rolling over, roaring or barking, and so on.
Track: The animal tracks the scent presented to it. (This requires the animal to have the scent ability.)
Natural Armor Bonus: The number noted here is an improvement to the animal companion's existing natural armor bonus.
[i]Bonus at 1st Level: + 2
Bonus Tricks: The value given in this column is the total number of “bonus” tricks that the animal knows in addition to any that the druid might choose to teach it (see the Handle Animal skill for more details on how to teach an animal tricks). These bonus tricks don't require any training time or Handle Animal checks, and they don't count against the normal limit of tricks known by the animal. The druid selects these bonus tricks, and once selected, they can't be changed.
Link (Ex): A druid can handle her animal companion as a free action, or push it as a move action, even if she doesn't have any ranks in the Handle Animal skill. The druid gains a +4 circumstance bonus on all wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks made regarding an animal companion.
Share Spells (Ex): The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion's type (animal). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants an animal companion. This ability does not allow the animal to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

Always wanted to play this AP. I’ll come up with a halfling oracle (with the flame revelation and the lame curse)
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 1) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 2) = 13 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 4) = 15 12
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 3) = 15 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 3) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 5) = 16 15
I can absolutely work with this. I’ll choose Unbreakable Survivor for campaign trait.

Craig Lawrence |

Divine:
Ridge - Craig Lawrence - Human Cleric or Inquisitor of Erastil
Arguably , Inquisitor Craig might be like "Skilled archer guy with divine sprinkles" and more in the skill section where as Cleric Craig is definitely more your standard Divine healer but it's debatable and i like the list! Thank you

GM Two-Hands |

@Therenger, I haven't taken a detailed look at the fluff for any of the characters yet but it's going to have a strong bearing on the decision making progress when I do (likely the day applications close). Everyone is on an even playing field right now, so all I can say if keep those fingers crossed! :)
@AJM4885, way to make me look bad! I'm kidding of course, well done on that list. To be honest, I'm happy to wear the blame if you've missed anyone. I've done it about 17 times so far haha!

In our for what it is worth department, if anyone else is a native to the town, it is possible they know Craig and his family already. If we both get selected, let me know if you want to have them be friends or what not.
Craig used to be a bit of a punk five years ago, but straightened his life out, found religion so to speak and so on. It's possible he got his clock cleaned by someone five years ago and DESERVED it, and he has made his apologies since then.

@Nebuzaradan, I've noted your submission, looks good. I'm going to post a final updated list tomorrow night, I'll make sure to add you on.
@Craig Lawrence, good call with the prior connections idea. The sense of community for Phaendar feels really important in this module, having investment in and a bit of foreknowledge
about each other would definitely smooth things along!
Roughly 48hrs to go gang, time to get pumped!I hope you're all as excited about this as I am!

That's why I wish Paizo would include more local NPCs and locations in their Player's Guides to the APs so PCs could make local connections.

Yeah, I agree.
Though the GM could list out some of the NPCs and a basic idea of who they are and what they do.The GM could also make some customer NPCs that they add in and give us a "IronFang Invasion Player's guide NPC connections booklet."

You found which religion?
As Dinah moved into Phaendar around that time, she's a priestess of Kurgress.Who knows maybe got his clock cleaned by her, as she's sensitive about her scars from some tough fights.

Erastil, for this adventure, the idea of community seemed to fit as did a god with it as a concern :)

But another valiant effort, no doubt.
Albion, The Eye |

Bards are a Jack of All Trades class.
So that is the reason I put then in the Jack of All Trades bin.
As we all know, Bards (as many, if not all classes in PF1e) can be built in many different ways.
I assumed you did not read the description of my character when I posted, and mistakenly placed him in a ‘generic’ Jack of all trades category.
Thus I was/am offering assistance so you could/can place him correctly.
When making a list of characters, it is a good idea for it to be as accurate as possible, otherwise it does not really help the decision making process, and may actually induce errors :)
Wouldn’t you agree?

RHMG Animator |

I do agree, however parts can be open to interpretation of where the character is going for roles. (also, you didn't roll your wealth.)
The GM can re-classify the categories for characters in the list.
------
This is my opinion as I made the list categories and sorted.
The ROLE a character plays is given by it's class features and design which could shift depending on the party or even over the course of the game (if no-one multi classes into another role).
Bards fill every role, and if the party is full of fighters, well then that Bard is likely gonna be filling in the non-fighter roles to round out the party, yes.
Also I'm playing a skill/face bard in another game, guess what I became the medic as those that could heal other then my character, kept getting KOed.
When your a Bard don't always expect to play the role you plan on, odds there that your might be filling in another roll.

This is my opinion as I made the list
The ROLE a character plays given it's class features could shift depending on the party or even over the course of the game (if no-one multi classes into another role).
Bards fill every role, and if the party is full of fighters, well then that Bard is likely gonna be filling in the non-fighter roles to round out the party, yes.

Parts can be open for interpretation, unless the person playing the character tells you what are his/her plans ;)
Your opinion is relevant until someone tells you - ‘Hey RHMG, I am going to mainly play a melee bruiser, and am also planning on dipping Fighter or Ranger (like I pointed out)’. Then… I am sorry, but regarding THAT character, your opinion does not matter. Assuming the list is supposed to inform what/how players want to play, of course. Which I think it should do.
If we all decide to post lists based on our opinions, then… it becomes a mess. And again, it induces errors. Based on your list, the DM might be wanting to fill certain roles with incorrect information, because that is how the characters were typified, and not accordingly to how the player sees or wants to play the character.
One can be a thief, and not have any skill with stealth, pick locks, etc, but instead be a dual wielding assassin. Would you place such a character in the skills ‘slot’ because they might ‘eventually’ play that role?
I find it more helpful to list characters based on the role their characters what to take. Best for the DM and the player. What happens after the game starts is a whole different matter altogether - the DM will not make a selection based on what might randomly happen during the game, which might randomly drive a Bard to the ‘main healer’ role, or a cleric to the ‘tank’ role, so on and so forth.
Roles might not even be relevant at all, but if they are, and you want to make a list, it is important to take these things into consideration. Just my opinion of course :P

Tern Bismeth |

This is SqueezeMeNow's submission. A proper sorcerer from the wilderness who you could say has refused to learn how to act civilized or wild.
Tern adjusted his half-cloak, shifting Pippin in place as he did so. He gave the dozing bird a quisitive look. Then, he pressed a finger into it's downy white chest, stroking it's feathers underneath his fingertip until it stirred and opened a half lidded eye. The man then presented a pinch of his meat pie which the owlet quickly devoured. The little grey and coal dusted coloring of it's back and wings rippling as it fluffed itself and nestled in near his collar.
With his pet tended to the thin man sighed and sunk into the back of his chair. He eyed his mostly finished plate and took the last forkful of his dessert. It was a beautiful day, if you ignored the bustle of the crowds around him. He had wanted to finish his business before the festival came on in full, but had been delayed on his travels.
Looking across the other tables he saw a pair of children seated with their mother, looking terribly bored until they caught sight of his little owl. Noting their sudden interest he smiled and lifted his hand, two fingers apart. Between them was a small bone, and as he mouthed a few words and pressed inward the bone folded in on itself. He fiddled with it a bit more, then flicked it over to the children. It was a crude little trinket of an owl, not even worth a copper, but oh how their eyes widened. He raised a finger to his lips and rose from his chair to walk away.
It had been a difficult trip to get here. But he had wanted to secure some gold and supplies. The plants and animal pelts he had brought with him had sold well enough, but he still didn't have enough for the kind of kit and tackle he really needed. At least not with these prices. He had spent a good portion of the previous season trapping and gathering just for that reason.
Turning down the main road he sighed again, smoothing his hair back out of his face and considering his plans. He had been lazily putting off considering his future, content to let his parents cabin continue to grow over. But now it was hardly livable, even for him. Well, if worst came to worse he might be able to charm a shopkeeper. Or a horse for that matter. It wouldn't do him any good to convince a domesticated animal to walk into a pitfall, but maybe he could convince it to act lame so he could buy it cheap and make better time on his return.
Not for the first time he regretted coming to such a busy place, but he couldn't help a thin smirk remembering the way the children's eyes had widened so. Well, it was good to see civilization every so often. Rather than turning toward the stable he headed to the inn. Some good drink might help him relax and make a decent memory.
He is kind of a morally ambiguous laggard with a pleasant nature. Not against charming an animal to lure it into a trap or fibbing to a merchant for a good sale. Ideally he just wants everyone to be happy, himself most of all.

Hey gang, big thanks to RHMG Animator and AJM4885 for the list updates. I'm not going to beat a dead horse and replicate their good work, just checking in to announce we are coming up to the 24hr mark. Just to reiterate, submissions will close Wednesday 12th March at 2100hrs Australian Eastern Standard Time.
@RHMG, tracking your statement reference the NPCs; I've had a few players reach out with a similar question. I figure once the group is selected we can spend a day or so making those connections prior to the first gameplay post.
Same goes for inter-party relations. I'm hopefuly that we can find some synergy between members and establish links once the group composition is firm.

Other abilities and SQ
Animal Focus (Su) (4 minutes/day):
At 1st level, a hunter can take on the aspect of an animal as a swift action. She must select one type of animal to emulate, gaining a bonus or special ability based on the type of animal emulated and her hunter level. The hunter can use this ability for a number of minutes per day equal to her level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but must be spent in 1-minute increments. The hunter can emulate only one animal at a time.
The hunter can also apply one of these aspects to her animal companion. Unlike with the hunter herself, there is no duration on the animal aspect applied to her animal companion. An aspect applied in this way does not count against the hunter’s minutes of duration per day—it remains in effect until the hunter changes it. The companion’s aspect can be the same aspect the hunter has taken on or a different one. The hunter can select or change the animal foci on both herself and her animal companion as part of the same swift action.
If the hunter’s animal companion is dead, the hunter can apply her companion’s animal focus to herself instead of her animal companion. This is in addition to the normal one she can choose, and (as with a companion’s focus) remains in effect until the hunter changes it instead of counting against her minutes per day.
Bat: The creature gains darkvision to a range of 60 feet. At 8th level, the range increases by 30 feet. At 15th level, the creature also gains blindsense to a range of 10 feet.
Bear: The creature gains a +2 enhancement bonus to Constitution. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.
Bull: The creature gains a +2 enhancement bonus to Strength. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.
Falcon: The creature gains a +4 competence bonus on Perception checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.
Frog: The creature gains a +4 competence bonus on Swim checks and on Acrobatics checks to jump. These bonuses increase to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.
Monkey: The creature gains a +4 competence bonus on Climb checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.
Mouse: The creature gains evasion, as the rogue class feature. At 12th level, this increases to improved evasion, as the rogue advanced talent.
Owl: The creature gains a +4 competence bonus on Stealth checks. This bonus increases to +6 at 8th level and +8 at 15th level.
Snake: The creature gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls when making attacks of opportunity and a +2 dodge bonus to AC against attacks of opportunity. These bonuses increase to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.
Stag: The creature gains a 5-foot enhancement bonus to its base land speed. This bonus increases to 10 feet at 8th level and 20 feet at 15th level.
Tiger: The creature gains a +2 enhancement bonus to Dexterity. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level and +6 at 15th level.
Wolf: The creature gains the scent ability with a range of 10 feet. The range of this sense increases to 20 feet at 8th level and 30 feet at 15th level. The range doubles if the opponent is upwind, and is halved if the opponent is downwind.
Wild Empathy (Ex):
A hunter can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions as a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The hunter rolls 1d20 and adds her hunter level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
To use wild empathy, the hunter and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
The hunter can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a –4 penalty on the check.
Traits:

Matildo Mauro was born into a family of carpenters in Phaendar. Although he did the work fine, since he was a boy, he always felt he wasn't meant to live as a carpenter. Being a strong boy, he tried to spend time with people who knew how to fight or hunters. This caused some conflict with his family which eventually drove him away. He left Phaendar to travel the world and find himself. He avoided Molthune, but otherwise traveled south.
In some Cheliaxian woods, he heard a cry for help from a baby animal. Arriving at the scene, he saw that a grown ape had fought to the death with a puma, protecting her baby. The baby was crying, desperate for his life and sad for his mother. Matildo and the baby ape bonded immediately.
That night, Matildo had an intense dream, where flowers grew on his footsteps and animals answered his call. He understood immediately that a close bond with nature had formed. In the morning, he could call undergrowth to come alive to grasp an enemy's feet. For the first time, he made magic! The fact that he made himself the target of his spell mattered little to him, he was happy.
Matildo learned that he made friends with animals more easily than with people. As his baby ape grew, they slept cuddled together and even as the ape grew stronger, he was always hugging his savior. The young man named him Hugsy.
He decided it was time to return home. To become a part of the community that generated him, but on his terms. As he arrived, people were a little distrustful. His family met him coldly. He decided to live in the edge of the nearby Fangwood Forest. He built himself a shack. He sold game to the inn and thus managed to buy himself simple things that he couldn't make himself.
Over time, Phaendar grew accustomed to him and even his ape, who was as large as a man at this stage. They even started to rely on him to bring good quality meat during special times of the year, such as the Market Festival.
Matildo dismisses his spell to approach the deer he has killed. He looks at Hugsy and says "This one took a while, huh?" He pulls out the three arrows from the carcass and inspects it. After deeming it good enough, he puts it on his back and says "Well, this Entangle spell really helps with the hunting, I gotta say." Hugsy looks at him a little disappointed, to which Matildo replies "Come on, don't be like that! It's a little cruel, yes, but it's also safer. Let's leave the actual fighting for times when we can't help it, yeah? Like that time the boar got free from the spell. Remember?" The ape huffs and climbs a tree and starts swinging between branches as a protest.
The two arrive in Phaendar as the sun reaches its peak. "That's good, buddy, they'll have time to roast this bad boy", in reference to the deer carcass swung over his shoulders. In the inn, he pockets the few gold coins he is paid for bringing food. After buying Hugsy some treats, he decides to make some social calls before the festival starts.
As Matildo arrives in his family's house, it's empty. He goes, then to the central square, where all are preparing for the festival. He finds his sister Jana setting up some stalls to sell food and sweets. Jana looks at him uninterested and says "Come to help me? Or are you bonding with nature?" The question didn't make sense, but it wasn't supposed to. Matildo was the target of Jana's bullying since he was a boy, and it still hurt. He says "Hi to you too, sister. Are you still looking for a husband? Or have the nine hells frozen over already?" She looks at him and opens her mouth to reply but stops herself. She says "Mom is setting up the stage. Maybe go bother someone who actually wants to see you."
Matildo leaves immediately, not only to see his mother Yarali, but also to contain his emotions. He finds his mother fast, who stops what she's doing to hug him. She says "Are you ok?" The young man cannot help but smile widely at this simple question. He doesn't answer it straight away, but pulls out a slightly crushed wild lily and says "I found this. It was prettier when I found it, but you should have it all the same." Yarali smiles warmly and says "Your father is working. You know how he gets. You should try to avoid him until he's done.
Matildo kisses his mother and goes to the inn. There he and Hugsy play with children that like to climb on the big monkey. This entertains them so much that they don't notice the day going by, and they're actually enjoying the festival for once.
