I've looked into Warpriest archetypes and I'm not impressed. Is VMC allowed? I didn't do it because time...but if allowed I'd consider "fightering up"

Varis, I am not sure how much you are aware of the lore but the gods of magic do not tend to give clerical spells in 1e or 3.5. Also, the gods of balance and goodness have not yet been re-discovered until the end of the first module that we are playing. So you may want to talk to the DM.

Yes, the Warpriest is a legal choice. Some of the Dragon Highlords are warpriests.
Equipment is done and I switched a trait (Seeker, which helped for Perception, already a class skill as a Bard, for Criminal, whitch gives me access to Disable Device, can be handy if we don't have a Rogue)

That was one of the jokes from my committee members. We both studied in Rome and since the defense was Monday, he said, be careful you may come back in and be the new Pope. I said, "As long as the smoke isn't white I think we will all be okay".

Non-native speaker, this is gibberish to me. Gaggle is for geese...and thrupple...some old variation of troupe or tupple?
Anyhow,I'm not sure Varis can chose non-lethal with gauntlets, they make unarmed attacks lethal, not necessarily always, but...would he notice Drakkor hit carefully and morr important, would he care enough to stop himself?
Wether we kill them or not, we attacked. Leaving them alive only leaves witnesses...
My two cents: If Varis would strike to kill in this situation, go for it.

Technically he is using unarmed combat which includes foot, knee, and elbow strikes...as well as other body parts. Gauntlets simple allow him to do lethal damage (and other things) if he wants to. They do not require it of him IMHO.

I don't think so.
So, one dead goblin, speared by a spiked gauntlet or brained by a fist. Not like Varis would hold back anyhow.

I got a new flamepoint kitten on Friday. My other flamepoint and he are fascinated with each other and want to play. The baby is only like 2.5 months old and is recovering from surgery so I am keeping them apart for the most part for a bit more time for him to heal and get a little older and heavier.
