Oh Carrion Crown. Well I've had the itch to play a Tortured Crusader paladin for a while, lets see if dice bot is feeling kind.
Roll #1: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 4) = 17 15
Roll #2: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 1, 5) = 12 11
Roll #3: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 2) = 17 15
Roll #4: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4, 3) = 12 11
Roll #5: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 2) = 11 9
Roll #6: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 2) = 14 12
Roll #7: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 3) = 13 11 So replacing roll #5.
I think that's a 19 point build, seems perfectly serviceable. Time to put my thinking cap on.

[dice=Roll #3]4d6 15
[dice=Roll #4]4d6 11

You are welcome to make something for it we need more players later but we are presently not accepting other applications.

Hello, given there was not a previously specified cut off date, I had been working on my concepts (which there are far too many of at the moment) and not repeatedly returning to the recruitment board. If you would prefer that active attention here as I work on a character build, I am happy to provide it. Given the thematic nature you are looking for in characters, I have started with the storyline, reworking a few characters I have developed in the past. Currently each has a backstory, in each of their profiles, which will still need further reworking for the current campaign. I am also working on fluff for each of the 3, as well as trying to conceptualize a 4th concept. Let me know your thoughts.
Current concept ideas:
Mathias Gabriel A human turned to a tiefling by a demon's curse passed down from his father, this tragic anti-hero was previously built as a paladin, but is being reworked into a skill-based Inquisitor to offset the martial nature of the current party.
Aden 'Blackfoot' a halfling street urchin and Rogue (unchained) whose family was murdered when a gang torched his family's home and business. For a flaw, I am thinking about tying in either a fear of fire, or reversing it and making him fire-scarred and able to wield fire powers as his aura.
Gareth Felbranche a half-orc undead slayer (Ranger/Rogue) with a tormented past, who was marked for some death cult sacrifice and knows nothing of his life before than. His body is adorned in argane sigils, and what powers they can manifest, only time will tell.
My final idea was for a "Frankenstein's monster" type character - some kind of a living golem, that retains much of their past lives' memories and abilities... Essentially it would require creating multiple characters using the same "race" and "ability score set", and the Flaw is each morning, or perhaps even in stressful situations (maybe failed saving throw or receive a critical hit), I would have to make a Will Save or change into another personality with another class and build.
This is definitely a bit out there, and if it is not something you are interested in considering, I absolutely respect that. Just let me know your thoughts.
I will say the inclusion of a Template option has opened up a "can of worms" and flooded my mind with a great many quirks to consider.
"Limbjack" - a part-man, part-construct feels kind of Frankenstein-esque and fitting for a gothic theme.
"Lycanthrope" - similarly lends itself well to the cursed/tragic nature that befits such a game.
