Has anyone tried PM'ing our GM? If we still have no news next Monday, I guess we could try looking for a fill-in...
Neronius Stout
I PM'd the GM about 24 hours ago and haven't heard back yet.

I still haven't heard anything. Does someone have time to put up a post in recruitment and explain the situation? Hopefully a fill-in can finish up whatever's left for us.
Neronius Stout
Ok, it looks like we have a couple of volunteers! If folks would like to chime in on the relevant GM recruitment thread, it's here.

I think Ironperenti is giving up the position in favour of Dreadful?
I'd be willing to give Dreadful a chance!
Neronius Stout
Great, I've let Dreadful know they're in and thanked Ironperenti for the kind offer.

Hi all,
Your game looks cool :)
I am going on a vacation starting on 10/21, returning around 10/30. I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to familiarize myself with everything that's happened so far, but I think it's a safe bet that I won't feel ready to try to get things going until around 10/31 or so
Fitting, perhaps?
Dreadful
I'm familiarizing myself with the game. So far, I have a couple of questions:
1) Could everyone PM me the information you were PMd by Cartographer near the start of the game? This should be about a vision your PC experienced prior to waking up
2) It looks like you are currently using a google slide for a map, linked at the top of the page. I'll plan to keep using this unless I hear otherwise from you
3) How are you tracking loot?
Dreadful
I'm not quite feeling ready to get things started yet. In addition, I have only been PMd by 2 of you. If you have not yet, could you please PM me with the vision you witnessed at the start of the game? This is also a way for me to confirm that you are still here and interested in finishing this game.
I am also still wondering what the treasure tracking is. I suppose it's not too important given that this is intended to be a one shot. If everyone is ok with not tracking treasure, we don't have to.
Per this post, it looks like the boards will be down for a couple of days starting on Monday. My proposal is to get things going in gameplay immediately following that.
I will go ahead and write a post summarizing the story so far tomorrow evening in preparation.
Dreadful
The story so far
Death has stalked beside you. He has followed you, hour by hour, through these accursed halls, and with each deadly stroke of his hand, he has revealed clues about the miscarriage of justice that occurred ten years prior. Ten years to the day. You have tried to flee, and your efforts have proven vain. Beleaguered by horrors and thrilled with terror, your hope of escape is guttering like a spent candle.
Fortunately, death has a name. Jarbin Mord, executioner, wife of the murdered Malene, whose shredded throat still croaks for justice. When the true murderer of his beloved Malene swings from the gallows, then at long last he shall be free.
Will our heroes bring retribution?
The Jury
There were seven members of the onetime jury with you, though only two still live
Malgrim was a debt collector for Alastir Wade, and not a particularly nice fellow
Halgrak was a serial debtor to a barrister named Alastir Wade. Malgrim cut off his toes and threatened his children to get him to vote guilty
Ebin seems to have had some personal vendetta against Mord, though you're not sure of the details
Madge was an acrobat whose father was framed for murder of a nobleman. She watched Mord kill her father and clearly wanted revenge
Patrissa was given a necklace made from fire opals, a bribe in exchange for a guilty verdict. She had a relationship with Rekkart, though the details of this are unclear
Rekkart is a paladin, and has proven a worthy ally. Initially certain of the verdict, his memory of the trial has proven lacking. He had a relationship with Patrissa, though the details of this are unclear
Killian turned out to be Sveth, former courthouse janitor and close friend of Mord. He drugged everyone and brought them to the courthouse to face judgement
You also found a note, written by a judge who was garroted by Malgrim, accusing Judge Silman Trabe of knowingly sentencing the innocent Mord to death
I am planning to get going in gameplay following the upcoming Paizo boards maintanence

Excellent, thanks for summarizing all of that! It's very helpful.
(an early warning that I'm going to be away, sans computer, from 12-28 November)
Zinli Steelworker
- Zinli correctly identified a decapitated corpse as Sashrala, an elven woman who was part of an adventuring expedition into the courthouse. She noticed a hooded figure watching from the shadows as she was murdered by one of her teammates. In her vision, the hooded figure tried to strangle her.

(FYI, it turns out I *won't* be away from the 12-28 November)
