Forgot to renew Tofana's store of healing serums. I've got nothing for the NPCs. Not that Tofana would give them anything unless one of the team asked her to.
Alternate plan: Leave. drop off Moss Grove. Heal up and come back loaded for bear. We move in fast, hopefully too fast to take the damage and hit the mill.
2nd alternate. Get into the mill ASAP. It's got to be shielded from the psychic damage or all we'll find is corpses.

I can restore Mossgrove's HP but not their SP. They don't recover with a 10 minute rest, do they? I assume no RP.

How long has it been since the first combat? My shield other spell on Mossgrove lasts for 5 hours, so just wondering if it's still in effect, I'd have taken half of any damage he took from the depressing forest.

Dawnfriend definitely recommends waiting outside. He also channels healing magic on the group to deal with any more serious damage.

I'll just healing channel as a full action burst to get everybody for 1 RP. (2 RP total, since I'm also recovering my SP during this rest.)

Definitely less than 5 hours, so Dawnfriend would have taken 8 damage, and all HP damage was cleared by the channel. As an NPC, Mossgrove has no stamina pool.

Although it is still uncomfortable, the Starfinders patch themselves and their guide up before moving toward the structure. The surrounding terrain is barren of kinwood trees and saplings, and broken stumps suggest it was recently cleared. The main door is closed but unlocked. They enter the building, which has 25 foot high ceilings and a catwalk 15 feet above the floor.

The entrance of this building opens directly into a large factory floor. Despite being currently inactive, the conveyor belts are loaded with piles of uncut tree trunks. The scent of mulch and woodchips permeates the entire area, undercut by the stench of rotting sap. To the east and west, two massive vehicles are loaded with stacks of cut lumber ready for shipment. On the southern end of the room, various other scientific equipment lays scattered among the machinery. Several doors line up along two separate hallways on the northern end of the room.

Mossgrove cries out in shock and disgust. "Selling kinwood lumber is not only illegal, but to the people of Ghorus Prime, it’s like murdering people and selling their skin!" After he explains this, he immediately returns any of the gear he confiscated.

Perception DC 20 for the X's:
The catwalks overhead feature three cameras. One overlooks each of the office doors and the third is positioned above the machinery to the south.

Obozaya looks at the returned flamethrower, raising an eyebrow. She looks over the xenodruid, clearly somewhat impressed. "You were carrying this stuff the whole time?" She shrugs. "So, we torching this place, then?"

Aluradux is stunned by the sight before her. Tears form in her eyes as she surveys the scene. "Oh my gods those poor trees. What kind of monsters would do such a thing?" A look of grim determination crosses her face as she blinks away her tears. She silently takes her laser pistol from Mossgrove and checks it carefully and professionally before putting it in the holster at her hip. She noticeably declines to reattach the fatality suppresser. Her voice is cold as she responds to Obozaya.

"Yes Obo. We're burning it down. We're burning it all down. No survivors."

The cameras do not seem to have a wireless signal. There are ladders, marked with a small blue arrow, two to your northeast and one at the catwalk's intersection.

Dawnfriend runs toward the ladder and begins climbing up. "Let's climb up this ladder over here to get to them!"

I think I found the arrows indicating the ladder. Not sure if something will trigger before I get up there, so I've not placed myself on the catwalk yet.

If he gets to the top, he uses his multiple hands to help other people climb up the last couple of steps to get onto the catwalk.

Obozaya stays at the bottom, assessing the terrain for the best places to start a conflagration, impatient for some destructive action.

Tofana follows the skittermander at a more deliberate pace. Her rifle is ready while she keeps looking around, especially for signs of anyone on the catwalks.

When she ascends the ladder, she urges Dawnfriend to keep watch because there may still be tree killers around and she's perfectly capable of climbing without aid.

Once on the catwalk (and in the absence action) she moves north to examine the two cameras there.

Dawnfriend nods to Tofana. "Good idea!" he whispers, taking off north on the catwalk while Tofana investigates, trying to see if he can peek ahead into the other areas of the building. He pulls out his broad-spectrum scanner.

Nothing seems to be happening as you approach the cameras. They seem to be hard wired to the room to the far northeast. Cutting the cable would be easy, but would likely attract notice. You can use Computers or Engineering to try to disable them in a way that will not alert anyone watching.

Aluradux frowns as her friends hurry forward. With a sigh she gestures and vanishes from sight. Now invisible she moves towards the likely destination for the camera feeds. She informs the others as she passes.

**I'm headed towards that room to the northeast to see if I can make sure they don't spot us.**

Aluradux will try to get to the camera room. If she can spot the monitors and if there is someone watching them she will try to cast holographic image to display an empty mill to cover up anything the team may be doing.

Dawnfriend finds mundane equipment along with a scattering of quality control tools and devices. Among them is a chemalyzer, an aura-translation kit, and a fire extinguisher.

Nothing seems to be happening, so disabling the cameras seems to have worked. There are a number of doors in the northern part of the warehouse, and the Starfinders will likely need to open at least one to continue their investigation.

Dawnfriend grabs the things and shoves them in his starfinder backpack, in case he can use them to help someone at some point before. He stays down on the ground, thinking toward the lashunta, "Nufriend Aluradux, are you here? Can you see what is in those other rooms?" If there is no reply, he types a quick text to the group chat over his personal comm, as he remains quietly sitting ... a state that does not come natural to him, and may not persist long.

Can the catwalk be used to look into those areas to the north, then? If so, Aluradux may want to head that way since she's invisible.

Obozaya, down on the ground level, glances at her petroleum tank and some piles of wood, considering how she can augment the burn when she gets to that point.

Seeing the door open on its own, Dawnfriend is able to figure out where nufriend Aluradux is and heads in that direction, staying back since he knows that is the best way to help her scout ahead.

Obozaya follows the skittermander, also staying back, because she knows that she's about as silent as a tank. She holsters the flamethrower, swapping it out for the thunderstrike blindmark rifle. She sets her static shock pad to stun, in case she's in the mood to go in and take the person out with nonlethal damage.

Tofana moves up, taking position on the opposite side of the hallway, weapon pulled and ready for action as needed.

She opens her pet carrier and releases Snafu. **Snafu. Get in there and act cute.** The fuzzy gremlin hops out and heads into the room. He gives the two damai the big eyes and makes a cute cooing sound, begging for treats.

I don't think detect thoughts would end invisibility, at least in the first two rounds when everything you do is passive.

Aluradux can tell that there are thinking creatures in the room. She doesn't have time to learn much more before one of said creatures peeks their head out the door and looks both ways down the hall. "Ainveln? Is that you?" they call out, clearly confused by the situation.

You think she will probably close the door shortly if the Starfinders don't do something.

The distraction seems to be working, until the android lets out a large "Oof!" as she runs into the spot Aluradux occupies. That definitely attract the guards' attention.

It's going for that gun. And Tofana like it better if it's not free to use it. The android quickly recovers her balance and pursues the damai into the room.

A trace of computer generated EM tickles her brain, she locks on and the console screen goes painfully, glaringly, red. White words, POLICE! RUN! appear on the screen.

Tofana brings her knife down on the damai's shoulder.

The rules for familiars in Starfinder are pretty thin. I can't find much info. Snafu won't be attacking at any rate.

The Creature Companions aren't very useful in combat unless you're sacrificing your own actions (or have taken Feats that make them more useful).

Creature companions in combat:
Actions: On each round you control your creature companion, after you act and only if you didn't grant your creature companion any actions, it can take one move action (this does not require you to take an action). If a creature companion is able to take other actions (such as those you grant it using the Creature Companion Adept and related feats), it can take only the actions listed in the Creature Companion Actions section, unless specified otherwise. Each action is described further on pages 244–249 of the Core Rulebook. However it's controlled, each turn a creature companion can at most take a standard, move, and swift action, or take a full action. It can also take one reaction. A companion takes actions as soon as they are granted unless otherwise stated.

Tofana circles behind the skitter, while levering her rifle upward one handed from her hip to point vaguely at the second damai. But it's the knife she's lowered somewhat concealed by Dawnfriend, that's the real threat. As she clears Dawnfriend, the knife flicks up in a quick underhanded toss.

Obozaya immediately wades in to fill the gap left behind Tofana. She drops her rifle, and shrugs her doshko into her hands. The weapon flares to life and swings in a vicious horizontal swipe at the closer damai.
