Hi all!
I typically go by Degnax online however for this campaign I will be playing Tiasis Nothos the orphan adopted for his skills longing for adventure! Between this and the campaign I started yesterday, I am very new to pbp so please bear with me if I make any mistakes. I do, however, have 15 years of experience role-playing, almost all of it being pathfinder or 3.5. This is kind of my come back after a playing hiatus for the last 2-3 years so I am looking forward to this campaign with you all!

I am having some slight issues with it, if only because some parts of it are rolls. Do you want me to roll here for these things like siblings and stuff, or just roll and tell the results?

I'm going to go down with some of them, starting with 101c.
101c, 13 so a member of minority in the nation
103, 46 so comfortable family wealth
104, 5 so legit birth
104b, 8 both parents alive
104c 13 so 1d3+1 siblings, resulting in being 4 siblings, so one older brother, two older sisters, one younger brother
105b 20, so exotic place of birth
105c, a 1 and 13, making 14 per rules, so a CM only for 105 on chart roll 968
106a was an 89 so two unusual occurrences
106b 50 and 25 so the milk went sour, and a golden egg was laid
107a head of house had a job
208a was a 1, so country was at war, and the poor public up rose for it, and family was involved somehow
208b was an 8, so proficient with sailing
208c was 11, so character helped, but with a result of 8 and 8, it failed and only close friends know character was in it
318a was 8 so creative writing as a hobby
318c was a 3 so it is sporadic interest
520a was 12, so valued mother the most as a person
520b was 16, so a hairpin from her mother is her most valued possession
520c was 11, most valued abstraction is political beliefs, which makes sense
520d is 93, so it is a driving value in her life
This should be everything, and give some things for Elton to work with. I didn't roll some things it seemed either to overpowered or not relative to the character or world really.

I was doing it for some background stuff that was from one of the sources to roll them. I think it was optional.

Although, if you used it, you would get a lot of ideas about your character's background.
Well I didn't roll anything but if you need more Backstory than what I have written in my character info I can roll to try and add some more

I am having trouble with it mainly because of his race and not 'knowing' his human background before the transformation. I've also had to do some guesswork.
For example on Organizations I considered Athena's Pride but being listed under 'Knighthoods' I would guess it's for experienced and elite soldiers? And would being a member of what appears to be a militia interfere with adventuring?
Or would he be better suited for The Academy of the Will and the Way? Now that organization has listed that "Most of the time, nobles, merchants, and some freemen have access to the studies of the Will and the Way. It's located in the Hellenic Quarter, and it's a prestigious school to gain access to." So again I don't want to 'overstep' and give my PC a background he isn't eligible for.

So if fairywithboots doesn't end up responding does that mean we are short a long range dealer? I've only got the option to throw my weapon 10ft so I'm not cut out for it at all

I can make a new character that is ranged or caster if necessary, I like Tiasis but I'm adaptable
Spoiler alert: I'm an old fart. I hope we have the 'Core Four' covered at least. Generally it's a good idea to have a 5th at low level since it's usually a tough go.
I think the soul blade can sorta range can't they? And we can always use basic pleb weapons like magic swords an arrows.
We may not need it really, so don't focus too much on it yet.

I might need some assistance with his backstory but the 'crunch', as it's apparently called, is ready to go.
