Roquefort taps the speed dial number and gets on the phone with the authorities, but before he can so much as speak a word, Lecti comes rushing out of a side room - through a hidden door.

“No, no, no,” Lecti shrieks, his breath haggard. “You can’t leave! You’ll ruin everything! My life’s work would be destroyed! No. You belong to Amalg. They demand your souls. All of you!”

As he speaks, the connected patrons start shrieking and writhing in pain on the floor.

Lecti is accompanied by two projections, that seem very real, and potentially can cause quite a bit of hurt.

If you want to save a patron, that's a standard action and a Mysticism, Profession (vidgamer) (easiest), Computers or Engineering check (harder), or an Athletics check (hardest). There's a shirren, two humans and three lashuntas

The first makes is over to the pilot, slamming into him, while the second falls short, but then releases a sparkling arc of glitching graphics

Carlos is enveloped in shadows, in which his figure is hardly discernible, which immediately seems taller, longer and with more tentacles. A hoarse voice from behind a pale mask utters one word, FREEZE. This word is aimed at Lecti.

Maverick stays put so that the holograms continue to focus on him while he frees another patron. Feinting left and right he leaps back and then rolls away from the holograms, but not so far away that they won't pursue him. guarded step

Roquefort turns Lecti into a gory character from a zombie character, splaterring blood everywhere, but somehow still standing. That is, until Buzz brings his disintegrator rifle to bear, and takes the software developer out of his misery. A second shot is quickly reaimed for the closest projection.
