Most of Daedin's shots also pass through the woman with a ripple but no blood, only one of them actually hitting her.

If you have a way to overcome Displacement I will retcon. As far as I can tell, it requires True Seeing.

Diazepane knows that the Wu sisters are a pair of quite powerful wizards. Jufeng has concentrated entirely on the arcane arts, while Dizhen has also studied the martial arts. They are quite human, however, so the Pathfinders have only their spells and martial skills to deal with.

He also knows a forcecage resists dispel magic, although a mage's disjunction still functions. The walls of a forcecage can be damaged by spells as normal, except for disintegrate, which automatically destroys it. The walls of a forcecage can be damaged by weapons and supernatural abilities, but they have a Hardness of 30 and a number of hit points equal to 20 per caster level. Contact with a sphere of annihilation or rod of cancellation instantly destroys a forcecage.

Also, you were all supposed to get DC22 Refl saves so...go ahead and make those, please. I'll let the three in the cage try those saves then allow them to change their actions if they succeed, if they want.

Svetlana and Daedin end up being able to dive out of the cage, though Diazepane remains trapped inside.

The blue Wu -Dizhan is able to overcome Rassmussen's spell and moves with impressive speed across the arena to interpose herself between her sister and most of their opponents.

She casts a spell and a small marble of fire extends from her finger and flies right behind Rasmussen's ear. It hovers there for an ominous moment before exploding in a ball of fire that engulfs him, Daedin and Svetlana.

Svetlana lands a solid blow, the first one to hit Blue Wu. And getting hit shakes her confidence.

A lightning bolt comes close to Diazepane, even striking within the cage but since Red Wu couldn't see him, she couldn't target him.

Kal'Ryon seems to be electrocuted but then reality jitters and it turns out he's just nicked by the bolt.

He scores a hit with his pole arm. His second swing passes through where she is not as do his claws later. His bite is right, or would be except for the magics that are simply making her more resistant to harm.

Daedin manages to dial in their opponent, his first two arrows striking true and causing her to collapse.

He quickly reorients and finds the remaining sister a relatively easy target. His remaining arrows hit her but don't take her down.

She retaliates against Svetlana, jabbing her left fist at the Hellknight's face.

No. My understanding is that he can drop any and all life-links as an immediate action at any time. He dropped them right after the spells creamed him, as that would have dropped him dangerously low if the life links had been allowed to tick at the start of his actions.

Rassmussen turns to Daedin next to him and gives him a True Seeing spell.

Monks rush out to check on and secure the bodies of the Sisters Wu and the Emissary has to wait a full minute, his face calm and inscrutable as he stands at the edge of the judge's box, his posture immaculate and his head held high. Keen observers may note a certain amount of pride and gratitude when his eyes fall on the Pathfinders.

"It is my official duty to name the Pathfinder team as the winners of this, the 31st Ruby Phoenix Tournament. They are the new Champions!" more applause and fireworks accompany this announcement and Marthysan comes down out of the box to present each of them the symbol of their victory - a single phoenix tail feather.

"I would also like to thank them for foiling the plot of these wicked women and their allies to ruin this august tradition. You have our profoundest gratitude."

More cheers and more fireworks arise. The Pathfinders are allowed to revel in the glory for several minutes before they are lead out of the arena in a grand procession. The road is crowded with celebrants, growing only more congested as they get to the town square.

Fans and well wishers approach in the multitudes and more than an hour passes before the crowd disperses enough for them to move freely.

As night settles in, Yon Loi's Noodle House has the grandest celebration yet, with the Pathfinders the guests of honor and soup and alcohol flow like water with former opponents and fans approaching to congratulate them, offer their admiration and buy them drinks.

The entire town of New Harbor essentially becomes a big party for most of the night.
