"Yeah Pockets, fine by me. Cyrus, you're lucky to be alive, ya know!"

I'm away for the weekend--please bot me as needed.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Obozaya tears away one of the badges, looks at it, and tosses it aside.
"'Skyshatters'? Dumb name for dumb pirates. Criminals around the galaxy never learn . . ."

Singed by another laser blast, Obozaya follows her foe up the stairs. "You're running out of room!" she shouts as she swings her doshko.

Tactical Doskho vs Red KAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
damage (P): 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

3/8 SP, 13/13 HP, 4/4 RP

Obozaya continues up the steps towards the recalcitrant pirate.

Tactical Doskho vs Red KAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
damage (P): 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

4/8 SP, 13/13 HP, 4/4 RP

@GM: Quick idea: could you put in bold when its the PCs turn to act? Sometimes I find it hard to spot with all the other description in a post. Thanks!

Obozaya rushes the nearest pirate and swings her doshko hard!

Tactical Doskho vs Red KAC: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
damage (P): 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Please bot for 24 hours

As if she were brushing a fly off her knee, Obozaya tries to casually pick up the nearest intruder and drop it back in the water.

Athletics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Obozaya curses as she hits the deck hard!

6/8 SP, 13/13 HP, 4/4 RP

Obozaya instinctively tries to clutch a nearby railing.

Athletics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Obozaya sniffs disdainfully. "Some members of the 'team' have gotten distracted with games and silliness. But don't worry--I'm keeping an eye on our V.I.P."

Only disdainful in-character; out of character, have fun and get cool stuff--it'll likely be useful later!

Obozaya nods at Sovellis' plan and explanation to Visavra. "Yeah, we're professionals. Having us visibly around might deter any attacks."

"Obozaya. Starfinder. Vesk Prime."

Obozaya pats the shaft of her doshko reassuringly.

"Yeah, like the little fella says. We got you covered." Obozaya doesn't talk a lot, but her presence is reassuring nonetheless.

Sorry for the delay in coming in! I (Jhaeman) will be playing the Level 1 Iconic Obozaya because I ran out of time to make a new PC.

Obozaya sprints toward the temporarily-disabled robot and tries to smash it with her doshko!

That's a hit.

Attack (w/ 2 neg levels) vs EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (2, 7) + 14 = 23

Obozaya has had enough of the world falling down around her ears, and she gives an inarticulate war cry as she cleaves the nearest hunter robot in half!

Using her special charge attack that doesn't take penalties on the attack roll or AC. The Blue robot is destroyed.

Attack (-2 neg levels): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (6, 8) + 14 = 28

Obozaya shouts at the civilians. "Drop your gear--it's not worth your lives!" The shocked listeners comply!

Intimidate (w/ 2 neg levels): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Whew, made the DC exactly!

Switching back to her autotarget rifle, Obozaya takes aim at the limping drone that's still trying to make off with one of the townsfolk! She connects and even catches the passenger before he hits the ground!

Survivor point earned

Attack (2 neg levels): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Obozaya calls out "Help me take our their leader, and the battlefield will be ours!" She swings her ember flame doshko again, but just can't connect.

GM Dice:

attack (-2 neg) vs EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (2, 2) + 14 = 18

Bolstered by Kultainen's words, Obozaya attacks the void hag again, hoping to find a weak point in its defences. But the vesk is clearly flagging, and the attack is easily dodged.

attack w/ -2 neg levels: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (5, 6) + 14 = 25

Although she's feeling the effects of the enervation spell, Obozaya isn't one to give up! She swings her doshko again at the void hag, but again the spry opponent dodges the attack.

doshko (-2 negative levels) vs EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21

damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (5, 8) + 14 = 27

Obozaya swings hard at the void hag, hoping that if she takes out the enemy leader, their forces may retreat. But the void hag is too fast to hit.

ember flame doshko (-2 negative levels) vs EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (6, 4) + 14 = 24

Obozaya receives Gab's comm message as some stray shots from a crossfire graze her arm. She falls back into the compound, sees the void hag, and charges toward it at full speed! But the void hag sees the attack coming, and dodges out of the way.

Move action, then using her "Charge Attack" special ability to charge as a standard action.

crossfire: 1d6 ⇒ 1

doshko (-2 charge, -2 neg level) vs EAC): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (6, 3) + 14 = 23

"Why won't you die!" shouts a frustrated Obozaya as the badly-wounded dwarf survives another furious assault.

ember flame doshko (w/negative levels): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (1, 7) + 14 = 22

Wounded in the crossfire, Obozaya tries to turn the dwarf's skull into burnt pudding! Somehow, the dwarf is still standing--but a feather would knock him over.

GM Dice:

Attack # 1 (-4 FA): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Attack # 2 (-4 FA): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (3, 6) + 14 = 23
Crossfire Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3

Annoyed at how persistent her dwarf foe is, Obozaya takes two wild swings! One of them connects.

Attack # 1 (full attack, hampered): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Attack # 2 (full attack, hampered): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (8, 2) + 14 = 24

Obozaya grins at the dwarf. "You want to do this face-to-face? Works for me!" She drops her shotgun, draws her doshko, and swings hard. But the Vault Breaker's armor is strong enough to withstand the blow.

ember flame doshko (-2 harrying fire): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (3, 8) + 14 = 25

Obozaya smiles as she strides forward with a pump-action scattergun and sends a blast of pellets flying toward both her foes. The elf leaps out of the way just in time, but the flat-footed dwarf is hit by both barrels!

snub scattergun (-2 blast property): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
damage: 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

"I just got a comm message from that annoying skittermander secretary. The governor's ready to see us."

Obozaya rendezvouses with you for an initial assessment, and shares what she's learned. "I tried to get into the garrison, but the guards weren't having it. I used my normal cover as a "merc looking for work", and they put me through on the comms to an annoying skittermander secretary. He said he could arrange an appointment with the governor and would get back to me." Obozaya shrugs. "Could be useful to talk to whoever's at the top. And unlike Pact World politicians, this won't be any political hack. Veskarium governors are respected warriors."

"These things can really take a licking!" shouts Obozaya as she swings again and connects.

doshko (w/ off-target penalty) vs Black EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (2, 6) + 14 = 22

Obozaya brings the flaming doshko in low to try to burn the drychen's legs, but it senses the attack coming and leaps to avoid it!

GM Dice:

Attack w/ ember flame doshko (-2 off-target) vs Black EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

FYI, Obozaya has the Coordinated Shot feat, so as long as she's threatening the foe (and not giving it cover), you guys can get a +1 on ranged attack rolls against it.

"Looks like the party's come to us." Obozaya steps in close to the wolf-like aggressor and brings her doshko down hard on its snout. It cringes as its fur sizzles!

Attack w/ ember flame doshko vs Black EAC (-2 charge): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (4, 1) + 14 = 19

Obozaya looks around the area. "Get your heads out of the stars for a moment. Look at this! Very close to where you entered are skeletal remains along with some intact equipment: two combat rifles (40 longarm rounds each) and four frag grenades III.

DC 24 Culture:
The equipment and insignia are standard Veskarium military issue, though the clothing remnants resemble those of a holoshow safari costume!

DC 27 Perception:
In the area nearby are well-hidden small pylons. You can roll a Engineering or Mysticism check to identify what they are.

"Everyone ready to go? Be ready for anything--these vaults are always full of surprises."

A vesk wearing heavy armor and with a doshko leaning on her shoulder follows Gab into the meeting room. Looking at the three of you, she nods. "Good. Few of us. More glory to share in the battle to come!"
