C'est la vie.

"Oh, I've been waiting a long time for this. Yes, we've, I know. Go ahead, kill the big one." The prosthetic arm slowly rises and makes a 'come here' motion towards holoDatch.

Gil-Oloth snaps off a shot at the new hologram of Datch, but Kneepuncher's massive form gets in the way!

Botting Gil-Oloth because time is pressing. Result: Miss due to soft cover.

Aphelion laser rifle vs Datch EAC w/ soft cover: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Damages, F&So: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (2, 6, 3) + 9 = 20

Following the Datch hologram's instructions, the three faceless ones converge on Kneepuncher!

Black does a Withdraw action to get away from Meglos without an AoO and goes around the server bank. Kneepuncher, if you have reach, Black will provoke an AoO from you as it gets adjacent to you.

Red does a move action to come up from the south and one attack on Kneepuncher with flanking. Result: Attack hits Kneepuncher for 13 B.
(@Gil-Oloth: if you or your couch threaten a square, you'll get an AoO as Red moves past you)

Blue turns and will do a full attack on Kneepuncher. Result: One hit on Kneepuncher for 19 B.

GM Dice:

Red Hardlight Slam (flanking) vs Kneepuncher EAC: 1d20 + 20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 20 + 2 = 38

Liberty's Edge

I know you havnt posted the turn order but I realised Im kinda next. Having fully attuned on this turn another supernova will occur

Meglos now bursting with light points away from here near the main terminal and it explodes outwards getting both fake datchgram and the blue hologram

Reflex DC is 20 and is FIRE damage

Supernova2: 11d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 4, 3, 5, 1, 3, 6, 3, 4) + 2 = 39

Dataphiles

Male Small humanoid (Ysoki) Technomancer 10 | SP 23/80 ; HP 52/52 ; RP 8/9 | EAC 25 ; KAC 26 | Ft +5 ; Rf +7 ; Wi +9 | Init. +4 ; Perc. +2 ; Darkvision 60 ft. | Speed 30ft | Active conditions: None.

Phil moves inside but does not like the space covered by his allies. So, he takes position to have a view at the main hologram.

Second Seekers (Jadnura)

Male Android Technomancer 11: Speed:50, Init:8, SP:99/99, HP:59/59, RP:9/9, DR:3, 11 Fire Resistance, EAC:26, KAC:30, Fort:6, Ref:7, Will:7, Perc:10, Exceptional vision, electrolocation

Another explosive blast, going around all his allies and hitting all 3 holograms now that they are clumped together, dc 19 dmg: 9d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4, 1, 5, 1, 2, 6, 3) = 31 fire.

Second Seekers (Jadnura)

Elf Prophet 9 EAC23 - KAC24 | SP24/45 HP15/48 RP10/10 | Init +6 | Perc +19 low-light vision, see invisibility SM +11| F +5, R +11, W +5

The vines around Gil-Oloth's couch lashes at the hologram moving next to her.

Xenolash AoO vs KAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Damages, A&S: 2d4 + 12 ⇒ (4, 4) + 12 = 20

Meglos' explosion catches Datch full force, and the hologram has trouble maintaining coherence! It somehow splits into two Datch holograms.

But as Phil sprints for cover, Z Data Z creates a second fiery inferno, magically sculpting the blast so it doesn't affect her allies and incinerating the Datch holograms once and for all!

Suddenly, the entire chamber goes dark, as Guidance's servers shut down. A second later, the lights flicker back on and the sound of the servers clicking back on to reboot can be heard. As a cerulean light fills the room, a restored hologram of Guidance, taking on its more commonly known mannequin-like avatar, appears. "Thank you, Starfinders! The virus has been purged from my systems, and I will take safeguards to ensure this never happens again. I have signaled First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo to inform her of the present situation."

Datch failed the save and took half damage, and then split into two holograms each with half the hit points of the original, while Blue made the save and in effect took 1/4 damage. The Datch hologram is on its last leg, so to speak.

Datch made the save vs the explosive blast and in effect takes 1/4 damage. That's still enough to destroy both of the Datch holograms. Blue, Red, and Black all made their Reflex saves vs explosive blast and take the same damage, but it doesn't matter because they disappear when the main hologram is destroyed.

We are off Initiative.

GM Dice:

Datch Reflex save vs Supernova: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Blue Reflex save vs Supernova: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Datch Reflex save vs explosive blast: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Blue Reflex save vs explosive blast: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Red Reflex save vs explosive blast: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Black Reflex save vs explosive blast: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

female kish ally of Kneepuncher | Master Hireling Access | Computers +17, Engineering +17, Physical Science +17

Kinbara checks to make sure that the Guidance hologram is really fixed.

Phil sighs as he is aware he should contribute by blasting the hologram from afar as he shares the same ability.

Exo-Guardians

Male Witchwyrd Solarian 12 ;Speed:50, Init:3, SP:72/72, HP:66/88, RP:5/11, DR: 5/, EAC:32, KAC:34, Fort:10, Ref:7, Will:10, Percpetion:+17 Fire ER: 12 Elec ER: 15 E-Field: 3d6 Electricity on melee hit

Meglos looks around and finally breaks the seals on his armor

Good work team! We hopefully managed to avoid being detected per our orders and the damage to the server room is likely repairable. part of me is sad we did not find the real Datch, however her justice is coming I have no doubt about that. now I am headed for the armor repair bay, I am not sure this model was designed for underwater virtual simulation rooms and I’m hoping to onsell it soon. Best to make sure I still can . Surely we can debriefed tomorrow?

With that Meglos heads for the exit and the armor repair bay

Kinbara's brief survey confirms this is the real Guidance! Although damage to the server banks is extensive from the multiple Starfinder-initiated explosions, no critical systems were destroyed.

A few minutes later, a host of Starfinders arrive, led by First Seeker Elsebo and Celita! After confirming themselves that Guidance has been cured, the two take you all to a hastily assembled meeting at the Hall of Discovery containing the entirety of the Forum. Luwazi personally thanks you for your heroic efforts, and the crowd gives a standing ovation!

The Forum votes to use Royo’s blueprints and your journey to develop new security robots designed to patrol the tunnels beneath the Lorespire Complex, ensuring that no enemies can infiltrate the facility using this route again.

Afterwards, Luwazi takes you aside to a private office; she personally congratulates you on your efforts before explaining that the data retrieved clearly points to the nefarious ysoki Datch as the culprit. For some mysterious reason, Datch (a known member of AbadarCorp) has positioned herself against the Society, but Luwazi believes that with the spyware removed, the Society should finally be able to take the offensive against her and her allies. "We've been playing defense," says Luwazi. "But now its time to take the fight to Datch!"

That is a wrap! Thanks so much for playing. I really enjoyed the group, and you handled some really tough fights well. I'll review the instructions from the convention organiser on how to report the game and prep Chronicles, and will have more information for you in the Discussion thread in the next day or two.

@Kinbara: Having a fixed Guidance be another trick would be a clever (if sneaky) twist! But no, I can confirm you have been successful.

@GM thanks a lot for running this! As usual it was a blast :)
Sorry that I wasn't as consistent in my posting as I would have like, but real life hit me hard these past weeks!

Gil-Oloth exhales happy that the mission is over. She will be able to return in a place of calm et meditation and a lot of smoking and eating mushrooms!

Nevertheless, she enjoys getting some attention from her fellows pathfinder to have been trusted enough to be part of this particuliar mission. She also apreciates to help design new traps and protection for Guidance.

Now it's time to dream a fit end for Datch!
