Pretty sure we will start in a small town in Nevada.

The three characters we have so far look good.

how will we meet?

I think Angelyna would be traveling with a location scout for her next feature or shooting something on a lot they built in the desert outside town or just like traveling on her way back from Vegas when whatever conspiracy they get sucked into happens

Maybe it's as simple for her as the car broke down

My first thoughts are that an incident on a movie shoot could get Angelyna, Fabian, and DeathQuaker's character together.

Could also be as simple as you are all in a diner at the same time.

The 'only' diner in town. Bugsy's

Oh the studio could definitely have contracted out DeathQuaker's character as an onsite medic, smart

Plus, nearby fake town in the desert constructed for a movie shoot is a great setpiece to just have lying around for later in the campaign when things go really wrong and we have to blow stuff up

This is DQ, here is my submission. Please let me know if anything is missing. (This is a recycled alias so please don't mind previous posts from the character withering someone's limbs or something.)

Rosa's line of work would be typically more charitable than working on a movie set, but I could see perhaps her nonprofit employer taking the job for much needed income and her being there somewhat begrudgingly (though she wouldn't take that out on the folks on set).

Also, I kept that she was unofficially treating people on the side, but I can remove the criminal activity if that makes things easier.... just figured it could also work as a story hook for why she has to abandon her work.

When do we start?

DQ, the bonuses to Ability Scores from Background and Profession are only +1. I think you have them at +2?

Otherwise looks good.

I want to hash out whether we have any pre-existing connections between characters, and talk about a few Session 0 type questions.

I'll get the campaign discussion and gameplay up tomorrow.

Angelyna definitely from NYC, so any connections would most likely be one-sided, ranging from "heard of her but not a fan" to "wow I love your work", or possibly people who are working with whatever film she's on.

I'll do my best to whip him up over the weekend. I'm spending a lot of the weekend on a plane, which could lend itself to having plenty of time for that, or not nearly enough, depending on how things go.

Well, it turns out that when you have a 5:00 am flight two days in a row, you're more likely to sleep on the plane than you are to make RPG characters. Go figure.

But my Scoundrel is done, I think! I can't think of anything that needs any fine tuning, but these are unfamiliar rules to me, so you never know.

GM, this PC is Wealth Level 3, but I picked the Street Criminal Pack, which is Price Level 2. So, I added a shotgun, which is something recommended in the Scoundrel class description, and I bumped his motorcycle up to a small car. Let me know if that's a problem.

My background can be pretty flexible if that helps with the initial meeting.

Rosa Sinclair, I could imagine getting some medical care from your free clinic. When I read your concept, All I could think is that you own a refurbished ambulance. So you can drive to sick homeless people.

That's how Rex met you. What do you think?

Edit: Gives us a mobile meat repair facility.

Edit edit: I could have been hired to drive it while you are here.

Whoops, will fix that. Was using the SRD and had trouble following the instructions. ETA: Fixed. Let me know if the math still seems off.

Rex, will reply later, but yes, I think she could have treated you. :)

I was imagining that Rosa worked for an organization that uses proper mobile clinics, which are RVs equipped with med lab equipment. The way I was thinking of it, Rosa wouldn't herself own the clinic. When she provides her "extra services" she wouldn't be in a company vehicle, more that she traces people who need extra help and goes to them with whatever she can carry in her medkit.

But if the GM wants to give us a refurbished ambulance I wouldn't argue with it. :)

Or maybe we steal the clinic RV in the first story.... ;) Mind you, she'd need good reason to do that, but I'm sure it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Gameplay and Discussion and Campaign tabs all exist in rudimentary form. Head over to discussion and feel free to dot in to gameplay.

You can dot gameplay and then delete your post if you want it in your campaigns but don't want the clutter in the gameplay thread.

I'm posting some questions in Discussion.

Fabian, things are happening in Discussion. Gameplay post coming tonight.

On my way! Sorry...went to a concert with my daughter last night. Busy stuff. :D

Do you have as many players as you need?
