Dark and strange things have been happening of late in the town of Halm Durok. The ruins in its hinterlands and the fey-wood so close to the walls of the town have always given it a slightly unsettling air. One or two of the townsfolk would go missing without a trace every year, but in the past six months over a dozen townsfolk have gone missing. Disturbing rumors of the Lord and the town's council being behind the disappearances are starting to be whispered around town.

Worse, the fey of the woods to the north of town have become restless. Sightings of the previously rarely seen forest sprites have become more common, and a few woodsmen have come back from treks into the trees with tales of wicked things chasing them out and cackling all the while. None know what is causing the disturbances from the relatively peaceable fey, but all fear it bodes ill for an already on-edge Halm Durok.

Will you, brave and perhaps foolish souls that you are, step up and solve the mysteries before doom befalls us all?

Kassen Battle Maps

A deep, mournful howl sounds from distant, tree-shrouded mountains to the north and west. Clouds glow with the light of a half-moon as they race across the sky on moaning winds. The trees whisper angrily at any fool who passes beneath their boughs this night. Sleep is hard to come by with so many ill omens in the air.
