Once you identify yourselves, the pair become much more cooperative. They tell you that they have been working as slowly as possible cataloging the artifacts, hoping that the Starfinders or the University would send someone to investigate the disappearance.
Xilyin has a bandage on his face, which he mentions is from Rehanu's lance. He adds that while the espraska is skilled, Nev is even more dangerous. She has an analytical mind and likes to be prepared for any contingency.
Professor Derosh and Xilyin inform the Starfinders that Firoth has begun to grow impatient with the crooked Starfinders. In particular, he’s annoyed that Nev has modified some of the holographic records accompanying the artifacts to increase their potential sale value. Firoth sees their petty greed as a danger to the Firewings’ growing reputation as smugglers. Xilyin and Professor Derosh also mention that there is a door in the back that should lead to the Firewings’ underground headquarters.
As they finish, a hobgoblin enters through the door carrying a large crate.

The hobgoblin is initially startled, but when no violence is forthcoming, he introduces himself as Sazkol. The professor mentions that he has been helping buy them time by arranging equipment malfunctions, and he adds that the Firewings weren't what he expected and he was looking for an opportunity to get out.

The Starfinders do have one task remaining before completing their rescue, and their new allies present an opportunity to do so. Opening the door to the east leads them to a warren of underground tunnels. They are poorly litt and full of twists and turns, making the entire trip disorienting. Sazkol gives them rough directions, but a Survival check is required to stay oriented.
You can also rearrange yourselves on >Slide 10< for the battle. You will get there eventually, but get an advantage if you succeed on the check.

Obo and Rodkin have to grab Chryssi from wandering down side passages a few times, but the Starfidners quickly navigate to the Firewings' underground hideout. The meeting hall is filled with Firewing gang members watching an argument between a furious Rehanu and a holographic projection of Firoth.
As you look on, you're spotted by several Firewings, and a faint murmur ripples through the crowd, alerting the others. Nev trains her weapon on the Starfinders and the holographic Firoth turns to look at you. After a brief moment, he smiles and asks who they are and their reason for being here.
