The guard had basic lashunta tempweave, a corona serpent laser with 4 batteries (20 charges each), a tactical dueling sword, two flash grenades I, and dusk shades. The half-orc had lashunta mind mail I, a corona laser pistol with 2 batteries (20 charges each), a tactical dueling sword, and dusk shades. His tattoo is also removable and could be applied to one of the Starfinders with a Disguise check to pose as a member of the gang.

Also, assuming we have time, that Mind Mail armor is kind of nice, and I'll use it if no one else wants it.

The Mind Mail 1 Light armor stats are +6 EAC and KAC, +6 Dex Bonus and 2 upgrade slots. My current armor is +5, so it would help me a little. Not sure about anyone else.

And I think I'll wear a pair of these regardless.

He'll pick up a pair of the Dusk Shades. I think we have four pair now, since all these fakers have been wearing them?

Despite Chrysalis' relatively uninspired attempt at a threat, the half-orc seems willing to talk.

He explains to you that the two Starfinders and the Firewings reached a deal: instead of fighting one another, they’ve joined forces to turn a profit. Nev and Rehanu helped capture Xilyin and Professor Derosh and brought them to the gang’s front in the Vartaikam Bazaar in Rajadhan: a used cybernetic clinic named Meridian Implants. The password “firelight” grants access to the back of the store, but it is unlikely that the Firewings will let them see the prisoners. Hartek believes the two archaeologists are likely still alive since Firoth needs their expertise to authenticate the last few crates of relics on the black market that Hartek hasn’t sent back yet.

The Starfinders return to town, where they each don a pair of dusk shades and Rattus adds a temporary tattoo (the fact that it works on fur too is a marvel). Whether they steal the buggy from the dig site or wait until they get back to town, they soon make the five-hour trip to Vartaikam Bazaar.

The stone walls of this shopping plaza cause the murmur of the outside crowd to disappear. A bronze plaque identifies the catapult sitting in the middle of the plaza as a “priceless historical artifact” and every effort has been made to preserve the bygone character of the original alcoves that have been converted to seating areas or colorful shopping kiosks carrying fashionable clothing and accessories. In the southeastern corner, the modern world makes its disruptive entrance via the harsh lights of a cybernetic shop carrying secondhand gear, while the southwestern portion of the hall is the home of a high-end restaurant specializing in mixing cuisines from numerous different worlds.

At the front desk of Meridian Implants, the Starfinders are greeted by a human wearing a nametag that reads "Sevrin". Rattus subtly flashes his tattoo and demands entrance, and Sevrin lets them behind the counter and gestures to the storeroom to the north.

The catapult is exactly what it appears to be. Whatever historical significance it may have is not reflected in its function. The owners of the bazaar have neglected to leave any large stones in the vicinity, though, so you cannot test it.

The door to the storeroom is unlocked. A neat pile of crates sits in the
southwestern corner of this small room. Against the eastern wall, a few small tables display cybernetic equipment sorted in piles to sell as-is or repair first for a greater profit. A door in the opposite corner is locked.

I am a little confused. Are we in C3, or is the storeroom further to the North? I walked out where I did because I assumed that when the Guard gestured North, we probably needed to go North of area F?

You are in C3. There is no area F - it's where you don't have an enemy due to 4-player adjustment.

A crate lays open, its contents laid neatly on top of a nearby desk. Each artifact is paired with a small electronic tag that likely holds information about its origins and appraisal.

Busted. Okay. We're Starfinders, sent here to clean up the mess that the last pair that arrived here created. You had initially reported problems with the Firewings, that could escalate into violence so Nev and Rehanu were dispatched to help. But it seems like they've gone rogue so we were sent.
