Unbreakable Resolve: All PCs gain a +4 bonus to Initiative and a +2 bonus to Will saves for the remainder of the event.

![]() |

Unexpected Reinforcements: Liberated Starfinders have joined the battlefield to aid the PCs. Once per combat for the remainder of the adventure, each PC can call for harrying fire on a foe within sight as a swift action. The next attack roll attempted against that foe gains a +2 bonus.

Just got my PDF of Starfinder Enhanced wish I had these at the start of this game:
Antiswarm grenade
The sticky, caustic substance that sputters from this device burns
skin and armor alike. On a failed Reflex saving throw, for 1d4
rounds, any creature with the swarm defenses universal creature
rule takes half damage from single target attacks or effects that it
would normally be immune to. On a failed Reflex saving throw, for
1d4 rounds, any creature with the troop defenses ability receives
full damage from single target attacks, and can be targeted by
effects that target a specific number of creatures.

So the Hammer gets the big guns. By "big guns" do they mean ones that require strength to lift, or something that stands on the ground and may need multiple people to operate it?

![]() |

So far we have:
Anvil: Dhomer, Ears
Hammer: Jek, Twila-5
Undecided/unclear: Dirk, Option-8
In the even of a tie, Twila-5 will switch her choice to the Anvil, having seen how sincerely some of her teammates are concerned for their safety.

![]() |

I take it that we have to get a certain number of successes each round? Can we do the same skill check/action each round or do we have to switch? So should we discuss who can do what rolls? What does the number of chats left next to our names mean?

![]() |

I second Option-8's question about the "chats left". What does that mean and why do only some of us have them?

![]() |

I'll take back seat on this one. Who has the highest Mysticism modifier? Are anyone's face skills significantly higher than that?

![]() |

Jek's Mysticism is +11 I checked everyone's skills no one beats Jek for relevant skills for this check, so I'll give it a shot...

![]() |

@Ears: I moved your token as indicated.

![]() |

Twila-5's stats
Air Face (Acrobatics or Piloting): +13
Earth Face (Athletics): +8
Fire Face (Mysticism): +6
Metal Face (Intimidate): +1
Water Face (Diplomacy): +1
Wood Face (Life Science or Medicine): +10
Unless anyone has a better Air Face, Twila-5 can head that roll and Aid on all the others.

![]() |

We have 4 of the 6 If we try to 2 we don't have first, we might learn something by having all of them. The ones we still need are.
Metal Face (Intimidate): -1
Wood Face (Life Science or Medicine): +9 or +11
Jek's stats
Air Face (Acrobatics or Piloting): +1
Earth Face (Athletics): +0
Fire Face (Mysticism): +11
Metal Face (Intimidate): -1
Water Face (Diplomacy): +1
Wood Face (Life Science or Medicine):+9 or +11

![]() |

Option-8 has the following skills;
Air Face (Piloting): +5
Earth Face (Athletics): +0
Fire Face (Mysticism): +7
Metal Face (Intimidate): -1
Water Face (Diplomacy): -1
Wood Face (Life Science): +9
I imagine we would have to do these checks simultaneously. We probably cannot do one at a time taking 4 rounds to aid/help each other. So maybe we pick the four with the highest skills and have the other two remaining try to Aid. I would have to say we do the ones we know about or the last two wait to see if there is a failure and try to do one of the set we do not have info on.
Air Face (Acrobatics or Piloting): Twila-5
Earth Face (Athletics): Dirk
Fire Face (Mysticism): Jekcedo
Metal Face (Intimidate): Dhomer
Wood Face (Life Science): Possibly Option-8 & Ears together? (Would be more difficult since we do not have info on).

![]() |

For wood: Ears, option 8, and Jek doing Life Science would add up to +14 if both aids work. Either Option-8 or Jek making the final roll.
Or Twila-5 aids Jek in mysticism adds up to +13 giving us 3 people to aid Dhomer.
Dhomer is the best bet for Metal with Intimidate +9 with 2 or 3 untrained aids, depending on how we do Wood: Jek and Option-8 are both a -1 to aid for Intimidate.

Those of you with day jobs, if you roll them soon I'll include them on your chronicles, otherwise feel free to annotate your own.

![]() |

Like clockwork, Dhomer finds himself back at work at the Akitonian power plant.
Profession (Safety Technician): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

![]() |

It's tedious, but it pays the bills when she doesn't have a Society mission.
Profession (electrician): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Aerondor Thanks for GMing that was fun! First time playing a special, much more than I was expecting in a good way.
And thanks to everyone else too, had fun playing with everyone!

Jek returns home or Verces and picks up some maintenance work at the field hospital at eh battle medic school Jek graduated from. After work one day Jek has a few drinks with his old drill sergeant and gets a strange look when he tells the Vesk how useful dropping a grenade on yourself can be.
Drill sergeant's replies, "You didn't learn that from me you crazy shirren, let me guess you were out of options?'
Profession maintenance worker with tool kit: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17

![]() |

Day Job, tool kit : 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 4 = 17
Thanks to everyone for a great game, especially our gracious GM, Aerondor.
I hope to see all of you around the Paizo boards.

Option, I'll have you T10 on your prof(archeology) skill for a 24 result.
Your chronicles are now available.
Thank you all for playing. The reporting for this may take some time as it goes through the event, rather than me directly.

![]() |

Apologies. Try now.
I was uploading from inside a compressed archive and it didn't like it

![]() |

To verify, neither box is checked in the section that states:
You defeated □ Lieutenant Ulgaran or □ General Itharris.
Intentional? Or RPG Chronicles just doesn't let you check boxes?
Otherwise, looks good. Thank you for running this, BM Aerondor. It was a fun table all around.

![]() |

Gah, that is the wonders of rpg chronicles. With the new story accomplishments, it has not yet adapted to adding them in. Or if it has, I've totally missed it.
Feel free to check your "killed Ulgaran" box.

got it.
Thank you for running, Aerondor, I had fun. Thanks for putting up with Dhomer and playing along!

Thank you all for playing. The reporting for this may take some time as it goes through the event, rather than me directly.
Does the event organizer go to the site and report it? Or when the game is report are we able to mark the session as "inactive"?
I ran a game and I wanted to make sure the session isn't "active" after it's reported.
Just wondering...
thanks again!
I ran this for GenCon online and our party too more damage than my table lol. They kinda steam rolled the monsters.

Thank you, Aerondor! Specials have a lot going on, and I'm always grateful to the GMs who can keep all those plates in the air and still give their tables a good time. Good job!
