I don't have Slides together yet, and RPG Chronicles will have to wait until I'm home later tonight, but here's a thread!
I thought the thread might be useful even without those things so we can discuss together. Things like if anybody has leveled out of tier and if we might need to recruit an additional player. I need something to link to!

Dotting in. Sunshine is now level 3.

![]() |

Welcome GM Frost. Thanks for running the last couple games. Nice to be playing with you again.
And thanks to GM Super Zero for continuing this Sedeq-arc for us!

![]() |

You're welcome! It is nice to be back with you playing.

![]() |

Slides and RPG Chronicles updated. Mimi is still at Level 4, but this scenario will be enough to get her to Level 5.

GM Super Zero |

Well that works, because if we do want to continue with the third one I believe that is a 3-6.
Looks like we have four returning players, as neither Banterknell or Quadennillia are available. Should I recruit for more, or do we want to proceed with four?

I'm good either way.

![]() |

Slides/RPG filled out. Dennis (like Mimi) will also level to 5 with this adventure. And would love to do the follow-up scenario as well.
As for whether or not to add more players, I'm happy to proceed with 4, esp since our group had such a good time interacting in the last one. And we seem to have a decent mix of melee/casters. But whatever you think is best, GM Super Zero -- we're just happy to be here!

![]() |

Welcome Archurius!
GM Super Zero. I have one GM Glyph. With your permission, I'd like to give my additional hero point to our 2nd level cleric.

![]() |

Sunshine also has a glyph to share.

![]() |

That would be Banterknell's alternate character?
Correct, Achurius is BKs replacement.

GM Super Zero |

Don't forget to fill out RPG Chronicles and the Slides, Pennypockets.
Though it looks like we'll be in high tier, so you get a level bump again.
Who has Mentor Boons available?

![]() |

Sunshine has Worldly Mentor boon, which will increase the Level Bump’s modifier to Perception checks and Initiative rolls to 2 of the benefitting PC.

![]() |

Mimi has Rugged Mentor. It ups the bonus to saving throws to +2 (instead of just +1).
Mentor, Rugged
Prerequisites: Liked by Horizon Hunters
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide important insights that keep your less experienced colleagues safe from harm. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to saving throws to 2.
Normal A Level Bump increases a PC’s saving throw modifiers by 1.
Special A PC can only benefit from two mentor boons.

![]() |

So what are the normal bonuses without a mentor? I'd like to add them to my active conditions in my tag line.

![]() |

So what are the normal bonuses without a mentor? I'd like to add them to my active conditions in my tag line.
Unfortunately, the bonuses only apply when your PC is the base-level of the level range. So, in this 1-4 scenario, if we're playing high-tier, only level 1's get a level bump.
From the Org Play Guide:
Mentorship and PC Level Bumps
To provide low level players a more fun and fair experience, PCs whose level equals the adventure’s base level (such as a 3rd-level PC playing in a Level 3–6 scenario) gain a temporary boost when playing in the higher level range called a level bump to represent the higher-level PCs’ mentorship and support.
o Increase every DC the PC has by 1.
o Increase the attack modifiers, attack damage, spell damage, saving throw modifiers, skill modifiers, Perception modifiers, and AC of the PC by 1.
o Increase the Hit Point totals of the PC by 10 or by 10%, whichever is higher.

Penny will wait for Dennis to grab one then jump in and try help disable.
I think Mimi took care of the first disable, but there are at least two more tiers and only one of us has decent Athletics (Dennis +10), so it may require at least 3 rounds to finish the job. Sunshine's Athletics isn't bad at +7, so if she can successfully Grapple one of the tiers as well, that might speed things up.

GM Super Zero |

Sunshine also has a glyph to share.
With whom are you sharing yours?

![]() |

Yes, I will give it to Pennypockets.

GM Super Zero |

Two tricks thwarted. It feels a little early, but I suppose I should award a Hero Point.
Let's see, among the characters who only have one right now...
Sunshine/Mimi/Dennis: 1d3 ⇒ 3
The obvious answer is Sunshine, for immobilizing the roast so successfully! Mimi for skewering not one but two animated cookware sets! Dennis, for devastating the roast with the only physical damage type it was neutral to!

GM Super Zero |

I suppose it won't matter for a while, but don't forget to fill out RPGChronicles, Pennypockets.

GM Super Zero |

Although Mimi did miss a chance to impress her further. Sacrificing yourself to protect one of them improves her attitude one step.
But you have to fail an Acrobatics or Athletics check for that to come up.

GM Super Zero |

Well that's going... quickly.
If anybody wants to make down time checks, go ahead. Please also make sure everything on RPG Chronicles looks right.

![]() |

In his downtime, Dennis continues his assignment at the Grand Lodge as part of the welcoming committee for new Pathfinders. "It's a great day to be a Pathfinder!" He points to a courtyard, "The training grounds are out there! The library ... remains a mystery to me." He leads the group to the arena.
Pathfinder Society Lore, 2nd level task, DC 16: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Success: 3sp x 8 = 2.4gp
Dennis levels up to 5!
Thanks for running this arc for us, GM Super Zero. Great fun!

![]() |

Yep was fun - Penny had a blast - it is a fun character and I am getting the hang of it now. Boblin bard is best bard. Now to get some levels inder his belt.
Thanks GM, thanks all, was a good arc and lots of fun!

Here is my official Earn Income roll for Mimi's 8 days of downtime.
Between adventures, Mimi can usually be found at her grandfather's fencing academy in Gralton giving lessons on the proper use of a rapier.
Performance (Earn Income) vs DC 16: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
According to this table a success on a Scenario is good for 24sp.

![]() |

DC 15 Anatomy Lore: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 (Failure, 16cp)

GM Super Zero |

I mean, dang y'all. That whole scenario felt pretty quick to me.
I feel like that final fight could be a bit tougher. It's Severe on paper, but Fasiel explicitly uses bad tactics, and it's a three-way fight where the elementals attack both the Pathfinders and Fasiel--those both make it easier than the numbers would say.
Anyway.
Primary Objective: Defeat Fasiel. Accomplished for two Reputation.
Secondary Objective: Accomplish at least three of (calm the guests at the fountain/prevent the roast from escaping into the party/guide at least one guest out of the lava undamaged/disable the singing statue/free Khayrat without embarrassing him). All five accomplished for another two Reputation.
Faction Objective: One Reputation with the Envoy's Alliance for making at least two notable NPCs friendly or helpful. A second Reputation for getting all three.
1 Treasure Bundle for calming the crowd after the fountain debacle.
2 Treasure Bundles for defeating the Rampaging Roast before it could leave the kitchen.
1 Treasure Bundle for making the illusory lava vanish.
1 Treasure Bundle for making Casira friendly.
1 Treasure Bundle for disabling the singing statue.
1 Treasure Bundle for making Agdal friendly.
2 Treasure Bundles for freeing Khayrat without humiliating him.
1 Treasure Bundle for defeating Fasiel.
10 all together.

GM Downtime. Crafting: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

![]() |

Do treasure bundles mean anything in PFS play?
Don't feel too bad about the combat. We had way more than our fair share of crits and everyone that mattered made their saves.

![]() |

Thanks for the chronicle sheet, GM Super Zero. All looks good! Thanks again for running. Had a blast.
Do treasure bundles mean anything in PFS play?
Yes. The treasure bundles directly affect how much gold the Pathfinders get on the chronicle sheet. 10 treasures bundles = max gold. Sometimes the scenario author will make you jump through hoops to find the last 2 TBs for the total of 10. But 8-10 TBs is pretty standard for a successful scenario.
Obviously, routinely getting max gold (10 TBs) will mean your PC can better equip themselves moving forward.
Note that max gold (10 Treasure Bundles) depends on your PC level:
Level 1: 14gp
Level 2: 22gp
Level 3: 38gp
Level 4: 64gp
On a side note: that cool Cantrip Deck is on the chronicle sheet at a 10% discount -- 18gp, instead of 20gp. Dennis (a non-caster) is the proud owner of a shiny new deck of cards. He can't wait to show someone his annoying new trick: 52-card pickup! :)

![]() |

Chronicle looks good to me. Thanks for taking us through the sequel.
It did move along pretty quickly and and I suspect that a responsive GM and Mimi not lingering once a room was taken care of contributed to that. Good rolls also helped get through skill challenges and encounters quickly. Regardless, the RP was great and I had a lot of fun.

![]() |

Yes! I asked our GM about possibly running our group thru it, when his time frees up. However, it's a level 3-6, so unless PCs like Pennypockets play several scenarios quickly (or apply AP/one-shot/GM credit), we might not have the same group. But Dennis is up for it!

GM Super Zero |

So before I mark this one inactive, who would be up for Shattering Golden Chains (3-6)?

![]() |

Count me in.

![]() |

As mentioned above, I'd love to bring Dennis along for another exciting Pathfinder mission with all/some of this same group. (like Mimi, he's level 5).

GM Super Zero |

Go ahead and sign up here, then.
I'll see about getting the rest up tonight.
