Indeed, the tengu jinx-eater that Jig points out swallows wrong and starts choking on his own saliva. She slaps the table until she catches her breath.
"Beginner's luck!" Fane says with a laugh. "Which one is next?"

None of the above
Bashii looks on, totally perplexed over what's going on.

Gwen feels that same inky, oily feeling watching the tengu's that she does when she looks at any image of her mother, who tried to kill her. Her deep scars around her neck itch furiously, and she fidgets to scratch them, but keeps the scarf covering the scars.
No Occultism here...yet.

GM Blake |

The one Princess Sunset picks slips on a puddle of beer. The tengu all start laughing again.
"A fluke!" Fane says as she slaps the table and downs another cup of Hull Stripper. "See if you can't get three!"
If nobody else has an appropriate skill, feel free to go again.

Occultism: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Princess Sunset giggles with the Tengu's unfortunate 'accident' "Same one! Same one!" Her soft feet thump o the table as she raises the broken horse leg victoriously.

GM Blake |

The tengu to the left of the one Princess Sunset selected is lighting a pipe. He suddenly coughs and accidentally (or not) tosses his pipe bowl onto his neighbor. The high proof liquor soaked into that one's jacket catches on fire briefly before the tengu manages to pat it out.
"Huh. Well done. Never would have expected you to guess three in a row," Fane says with a lopsided smirk and wink. "Let's go get down to business. Come over to my table."
She leads you through the bar patrons to a table. "Unroll the contract on the table, will you?" she asks. Fane then draws a knife and pricks her finger. She signs the contract with her own blood.
"Now! It's best that you lot--and you do stick out--are not what people remember from this night," says the pirate captain with long white hair, a burgundy coat, and a flamboyant captain's hat as she rolls the contract back up and hands it to you. "You never can tell who's watching. The Free Captains have eyes everywhere."
She steps away from the table. "Good luck!"
Before you can ask why she is wishing you luck, Fane swirls her coat, grabs a mug of ale off of a table, and tosses it along with a translucent round stone. Just as the mug lands and splatters nearby patrons, the stone strikes the ground and explodes with thunder, and Fane disappears in a puff of smoke.
A bunch of pirates point there fingers at a table of tengu priests. The tengu priests point fingers back. Accusatory and offensive words are thrown back and forth. The gist is that each believes the other is mocking the other's god or goddess. A chair is thrown. In moments, the bar errupts into chaos.

Bar is not difficult terrain.
Catching the Hei Feng priest by surprise, Bashii drops the tengu with a single swipe of his claws. He grazes another patron as they barrel past (immune to precision).
The creepy doll, Princess Sunset, paradoxically gets the bar patrons nearby to settle down. She clearly has otherworldly psychic powers. This leaves a few nearby tengu who are a little more drunk and unruly than the rest (I forgot the CR adjustment, adding them to the end of initiative).

Bashii slashes the priest of Hei Feng deeply then stumbles before strategically repositioning himself. Jig puts his face back together and then bites the tengu in front of him. Grammy channels vital energy into Bashii and swings at a nearby priest, but someone throws a chair at the same time, and the furniture intercepts the punch. Gwen electrocutes one of the priests of Hei Feng--you would think they would be resistant to that--while another one narrowly leaps out of the way.

You make your way out of the bar and flee across the island back to the docks before any of the seedy tavern patrons can take note of you or the thugs in the dark alley take advantage of your harried state. You have the contract successfully sign and secured in your care.
At the docks, the dwarf dive fisher looks grumpy when you ask for a return to the Glorious Payoff. "Just got here... haven't had time to sell my haul," she grumbles. "But probable best to get out of here after being in a fight as large as you say."
You load into her boat, and she sails out into the night. The trip is faster since she is not stopping to dive into the water every half hour. You arrive at the sandbar. As you disembark and sort yourselves out on the little strip of sand, the dwarf tosses you sack of dried squid and a jar of fresh water. "Take care!"
Off she goes.
It is a full day later before a ship sails by and sends a rowboat to collect you. They are not Pathfinders, but they assure you that the Society paid for them to collect you and bring you to port in Absalom.
