Desseer Arnalc |

"I see..," Desseer says quietly. He then clears his throat and says abashedly, "My apologies Arthur for the accusation." He ends with his head slightly bowed, causing his platinum locks to cover most of his face.
continues concentration

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

"Perhaps... most of you. I know I am not a servant of the guild. At least I don't think so." After a pause as he listens to Myrianna, he responds energetically, "Greetings I am Baris! It is nice to meet you Myrianna and Iris-chan." He looks like he should do something but can't seem to figure out what to do. He does look confused.

Arthur Stonefire |

Arthur waves it off, "No worries I understand the need for confirmation." He thinks, 'I would do the same if I was in his shoes.'
He sits back in his relaxing couch and waits for the next question. His mind is racing about all sorts of mediocre things. The color of clothes. If that color would work on him as well. What things are made up of. A stray thought that might be interesting comes by, 'He is concentrating hard on something... could he be reading my mind? No, I would have seen him cast something... unless that is his specialty. I wonder what classes he has, what spells? I don't know much about any of them, just their reputation for the guild itself.'

Desseer Arnalc |

"I appreciate your understanding," Desseer responds cheerfully. "Now that that is sorted, and because some of us just arrived back, Inennarra," he says, turning to her with a smirk, "food?"

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer pauses for a moment as if in thought. He then says, "Ya'know, how about meatballs?" He turns to Arthur and adds, "I must admit, the meatballs are particularly tasty here. I honestly don't know why."

Arthur Stonefire |

'Pah! WHAT!' he thinks to himself. Arthur then looks back at Desseer with an astounded look. Then his eyes squint as he asks the obvious question, "Have you been reading my mind?!"
sense motive: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (7) + 23 = 30

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer bursts into laughter at Arthurs question. "What?!" he manages to get out amid the laughter. "Because of meatballs? The accusation? What makes you ask that?"

Galah'ad |

"His memories?" - Galahad thinks to himself, by what he was saying he was starting to think that he perhaps was not a player
"Well, it is a pleasure to meet you Baris, I am Galahad. So you are not a servant of any guild? I think you could work with us if the others agree and you're interested, I'm interested in hearing more about your... memory loss and this recent form? But for now I believe our guild leader and mister Stonefire might be correct, are any of you hungry?" - He asks, realizing it was hard for him to gauge when people would get hungry without a compass of hiw own for that.

Myriana |

Myriana was quite pleased to meet someone new, and she wondered for a moment what his blood would taste like, it would probably be electrifying! After a moment of directing a hungry gaze at his neck Myriana turned away as Galah'ad asked if anyone was hungry. Myriana was beginning to be aware that she was incredibly thirsty after the long flight back and that taking from someone, she wanted to keep alive would be unwise. In her current state she would probably kill Iris if she took enough to sate her hunger and was unsure if she could stop herself at just taking a little.
Myriana waved over a guild maid that happened to be nearby and said, "Bring a pitcher of Type-O and a glass nya." When the maid scurried off to comply Myriana took Iris' hand and laced her fingers through the witch's, "Let's go to the dining room nya, there will be food for you there nya." She looked to Baris and asked, "are you coming nya," as she began to head in the direction of the where her drink would await her.

Arthur Stonefire |

Jovially he states, "I was just thinking about those meatballs and that sweet and spicy sauce they came with yesterday." He seems to believe Desseer as he shrugs and walks besides him to the hall.
'How? Uh... I didn't think, well maybe the meatballs are that amazing! Oh well. If you are listening Desseer I hope that your suspicions are met, no that's not the right word, revealed... I dunno. Oh! biscuits! What are those appetizers? Hmmm they smell good.' His thoughts continue down the rabbit hole as his ADHD continues to machine gun thoughts out.

He pleasantly replies, "Nice to meet you Galahad. No not to my memory, I believe I served a higher... thing... like an idea or ideal. Its frustrating not knowing. Some of your allies have helped but they say time is the best remedy for memory loss. Oh yes food sounds like a wonderful idea..."

Desseer Arnalc |

"Oh, I see," Desseer says as he joins the walk. "Dude, can you imagine though? That'd be super nifty."
"Anyways, I'd be interested in hearing about what you've figured out about this new world. I went to the Veil Kingdom."
cont. conc.

Myriana |

Myriana considered Iris' question after they had sat down and then said, "Good question nya." At about that time her pitcher of blood and glass was delivered by a guild servent and she said, "So here is what we do Iris-chan nya," She held her hands up and said, "Do what I do nya. Itadakimasu nya," she said as she clapped her hands together once.
With that Myriana said, "Dig in Iris-chan nya," before poring a glass full of blood and beginning to drink from it. "Ah, that hit's the spot nya," after finishing the first glass in one go, "if only it was fresh from the vein all would be right with it nya."

Arthur Stonefire |

"Yes indeed. To know the inner thoughts of those around you, that would allow for preparations and quick reactions. It would be interesting to see how well the thoughts of the opponent would reveal their actions in combat." He continues to talk with Desseer.

Kristrille Iris |

She watches Myriana as she explains and then does her best to follow, "Ita-da-ki-ma-su nya," she said and clapped her hands together once mimicking the catfolk. She then began to daintily dig into many of the dishes. Taking a tasting from everything and then going back for seconds of her favorites.
As she ate she asks, "So what are the plans?"

Desseer Arnalc |

I assume that enough time has passed that the duration has run its course.
"Right?" Desseer says in agreement.
Just after that, the two make it to the meeting/dining room.
"Have a seat man, I'll check on the food."

Arthur Stonefire |

Sounds good.
Arthur nods and makes himself comfortable.
Once Desseer sits down he offers, "I have flown around quite a bit, though besides farming communities there isn't very many forms of civiliation in these grasslands. There is a massive waterfall system that feeds into the Northern lake and feeds most of the grasslands. There is a dwarven kingdom of many lords, that reaches pretty far from their mountains. Also a new group, The Glorious Ones, or something like that, have been invading the Dwarven Lord outskirt provinces. I have been told that there are several elf countries that control a forest or at least a section of one. Yes I have heard of the Veil Kingdom, they are moreso city states that have banded together. They are to the South of the conflict between the Dwarven Lords and the Glorious Ones. It seems very similar to the game but more like several hundred if not more years have passed."

Myriana |

Myriana was a bit annoyed that someone else had all this intelligence. Spying, manipulation, those were what she was meant for! In order to assuage her annoyance Myriana poured more blood into her glass and drank it down. "It sounds like these Glorious Ones might be like us, hmm..."
Not sure what to roll to recognize if that is the name of a known guild or not.

Galah'ad |

Galahad was paying close attention to the conversation, as he could not eat nor drink even if he wanted to.
"Truly, civilization seems to scattered at least as far as we saw. So if we had travelled further we could have endedd up in the region of this conflict... Glorious Ones, uh? What a strange name, perhaps they could be players as well? Uhmm, it might have been for the best we didn't reached them before meeting you. I wouldn't want to suddenly face a group of aggressive players unprepared. Do you have any thoughts regarding this conflict, Arthur? After all it might only be matter of time before we could be involved in it."

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer parts from Arthur, leaving the room to find Inennarra.
Once found, he grabs her arm gently but with clear purpose, and takes her into a side room.
He then places both hands on the side of either upper arm and leans in close. "I probably don't have to tell you...But please do your best to study both Arthur and that halfling for future impersonation."

Desseer Arnalc |

"Oh,...uhh..no..I mean, not now," he responds a little flustered. "We..uhh..have guests. Let's make sure they like it here."
Desseer turns to leave and then quickly turns back. "Was there anything else that happened that I should know about?"

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer freezes in place. "Kaiedees is out?!" he whispers. He looks pleadingly at Inennarra and continues whispering, "Is he weird? I made his personality to be over the top. He's weird isn't he?"

Arthur Stonefire |

When Desseer returns he would ask, "Would you be willing to host to meet the rest of my retinue? Or should you come and visit Dragon's Glory? We even have several dragons that are not claimed at the moment. A great possibility if I don't say so myself. I am not sure how I would get around without my dragon."

Sorry I thought I had responded, the forum must have eaten the post. :(
"Yes indeed there are far amounts of land that is truly unclaimed. Though the mineral enriched lands are very occupied. Yes the name is strange indeed like Dragon's Glory and Seeds of Slaughter. Based on the name they likely would be players. I have a fellow player investigating, the Dark Dragon. I have relayed what I know and hope the investigation will bear many fruits."

K local... nothing else comes to mind.

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer responds to Arthur thoughtfully, "I think...I think, as a token of peace, I should visit Dragon's Glory. Would it be meaningful to your retinue that I put my safety into your hands?"
If I can get them in a situation where their guard is down..

Myriana |

Know (local): 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (2) + 19 = 21
Myriana nodded in agreement with Deseer as he talked of personally visiting their new, potential, ally. While it was rarely wise to put a leader in jeopardy sometimes it had to happen, and she thought this was one of those times. "Makes sense to me, nya," she said before taking another drink of the blood in her cup and continuing to think about this possible PC group and if she had heard of them.

Arthur Stonefire |

Arthur nods his head and looks at the others.
Arthur Stonefire was and is the leader of Dragon's Glory though that is not his whole legacy. He created the Stonefire Guild which focuses on crafting, enchanting, and mercantile aspects of the game. This guild was known for crafting high end magical items. Their swords, polearms, and axes were highly sought after as the highest possible caliber.

Desseer Arnalc |

"Well, that decides it then!" Desseer says conclusively with a hand clap. "I shall go with you, Arthur." He pats Arthur on the back. "Oh! I have an idea!" Desseer starts dramatically. "How about your compatriot stays here while I go with you? If we are to become allies, you have one of yours gathering information and as a minor sense of collateral, given you all will have our guild leader. Thoughts?"
What a great idea, self..
"Oh, and I apologize for the crazy Goblin. We normally keep him locked in his room, but it seems the attack released him," he says to the halfling.
that knowledge check was a good idea

Arthur Stonefire |

Arthur playfully accepts the tap and returns a tap as he states, "I could summon one of my favored players. The water spirit is more of a summon, not a player. Oh you mean the halfling, Baris. No I have no connection to him. I will have Domayoku and the Dark Dragon come here before we leave. They have teleportation abilities so it won't be much longer after I contact them."
Once it is agreed he excuses himself and with Inennarra's assistance finding a room to contact his fellow players in private.
Desseer knows roughly the same information as the spoiler above. Feel free to add more flavor!

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

Hesitently he states as if coming out of a trance, "Ummm... oh you are speaking to me. I am sorry my mind has been engaged elsewhere, several mind affecting spells are currently in place to help with recovering my memories. So far no luck." His halo on his back pulses with a bit of energy.

I hope it will, the more information we can gather about these potential players the better

Galah'ad |

He looks around at his guild members present as if looking for confirmation.
Galahad looks uncertain for a moment, not wishing to put Desseer in a risky situation, but not having any better ideas at the moment he nods
"I guess it cannot be helped, I also agree that perhaps Baris should stay here while you visit them, perhaps we can exchange information while at it. Maybe we can help get his memories back"

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

He shrugs as he states, "I don't remember much, moreso my past. Not sure how I got here or before that. I don't know the spells."

Desseer Arnalc |

Desseer cradles his head in his hands and looks on curiously at Zanthias. His platinum locks flow over his hand almost covering them up.
"Now that is curious. What can you tell me about the goblin you fought here?" he asks with a smirk.

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

He seems to get angry and fierce with the goblin being brought up. He quickly says, "Bloodthirsty, fear mongering, and deadly. If my physic was weaker like the frog man I wouldn't have stood a chance against him."

Desseer Arnalc |

"I'm sorry you had to experience that," Desseer says though his demeanor doesn't change. "So, what is the first thing you remember?"

Myriana |

Myriana was a bit startled at hearing Zanthias talk about trying to get his memories back. She couldn't help but wonder if it was something from before or after being brought here, wherever here actually was. "I don't know of anyone here having memory problems? Was that from when you arrived here Zanthias nya?"

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

He relays what he remembers, "I remember different colors, bright colors, lots of lights, pain, loss of something important, then the cold hard stones of your hallway. A frog man picked me up and took me into a closet. Then the goblin came and I reacted to his violent presence."
He also looks at Myriana when she talks and doesn't say more, apparently thinking what he already said would be sufficient.

Desseer Arnalc |

"How very interesting," Desseer says thoughtfully. "Well, the good news is that we keep Kaiedees isolated unless we need him for something. So, fear not, we are unlikely to release him anytime soon. Is there anything we can do for you?"

Zanthias, Lord of Lightning |

"No, your casters have done what they can to help. They say it will just take time. They will try some other spells tomorrow and such." He states not showing much emotion like he has given up.

Arthur Stonefire |

With his smile broadening he states, "My associates have entered your domain and should be here soon."
Once he is done eating he plays with the fork a bit making it spin with mage hand.
