Galah'ad |
That was a lot of work, but I gotta say, it was worth it to find all of this! - Galahad tells So'ren and Morgrave, in his former body the sheer dungeon crawling they've been doing so far would have exhausted him, but now he didn't feel any different from when they started, this new form sure had it's perks.
Speaking frankly, I believe we should move all of it back to the guild, but there is so much stuff that I can't estimate how long it would take to do it. Do you believe we should take the things that catch our eye the most at the moment, set some sort of temporary base here and then call the others to move the rest?
Myriana |
When they reached the bedroom Myriana set Iris down and told her, "Strip for me nya." She sat back and eagerly watched as the woman removed her clothing, wondering just what she would look like.
If you have some image you are basing the witch off of please do let me know, a picture is wroth a thousand words after all.
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer nods as Fyr lifts off and begins a flying search. He then looks around and begins wandering around the village looking for Myriana.
(I figure Desseer will wander around the village until Myriana emerges)
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin |
Yes go ahead and try to identify them.
He questions, "Most of this could be taken in one trip, especially with... uh... Breaking Dawn? Your mount Soren right? The chest is the only tricky item. How much weight can it carry?"
Kristrille Iris |
Nude before you she takes a few labored steps and falls onto the bed. She is still riding an ecstatic ride from the loss of blood and vampires touch.

Myriana |
Myriana approached Iris and crawled over her on the bed until she sat astride the witch's body and leaned in close. Her bare breasts pressed against Iris' own t!#~ and the feel of the vampire was cool against the witch's skin. "You are beautiful little witch and I am very much going to enjoy this nya."
There is no reason for the side scene to slow down the main game.
Myriana eventually reappeared as Desseer wandered around looking for her and when he saw her she very much looked like the proverbial cat that ate the canary.
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer raises an eyebrow at Myriana. Despite that he says aloud, "Thank goodness I found you madam. I admit, I was a little concerned for your wellbeing when you disappeared earlier. Is everything well?"
Kristrille Iris |
A feminine voice comes from the hut, "Oh so this is Desseer? Where are your other friends orshould we go before they get out their pitchforks and torches?"
Iris in the air having a bit of problems...
The beautiful, for this homely village, woman steps behind Myriana. She is dressed provocativly with knee high stockings, a pointed hat, a cloak, and a nearly skin tight shirt that shows off all her curves. She claps her hands and the door folds up, a splashing sound can be heard inside, then a cauldron follows her out with an assortment of objects. "They can keep the hut." She says nearly to herself.
So'ren Al'gith |
"Breaking Dawn can carry quite a bit, especially if bereft of riders. It think we should be able to get this in one trip if we pack properly." So'ren offers. He eyes linger on the Tomes.
I want them all. Probably would be unfair to ask though.
As a large quadruped with 20 Strength, BD's carrying capacity is 399/798/1200.
FyrTheHunter |
Fyr circles and then seeing Myriana heading back towards Desseer and she flys back down to land on his shoulder.
She found you. And brought food? No not food, a what or who is this?' She asked perched on his shoulder doing the weird bird stare at Myriana and the stranger
Galah'ad |
That is splendid, before we take them back however, let us check the magic items and weapons to see what sort of effects they have
Just to confirm, I have to make a check for each item/weapon or just go one for all?
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer turns his head to the raven, "Ya'know, I'm not sure."
He then turns back to the new lady with a serious expression. "Please refrain from using that name," he says cooly. "I didn't introduce myself earlier to the people and I'd like to keep one of the names I go by withheld." His eyes narrow dangerously and he adds, "If you don't think that you can manage that, I can assist."
"That said," he continues, his demeanor completely changing to friendly as he addresses Myriana, "Myriana, I found out that a larger village and the capital of this kingdom is to the north along the coast. I'd like to make a stop at the larger one and then go to the capital. What do you want to do?"
Myriana |
Myriana was more than pleased to hear Iris come out of the house just after her and turned to watch as she magically gathered her things. "Do forgiver her Deseer, she is a bit loopy from...," she looked around cautiously before she added in a more roundabout phrasing, [v]feeding me, nya." She gave Iris astern look as she said, "You can refer to them as Great Ones for now nya."
Myriana looked back at her companions and then pulled Iris to her side, one hand going to rest on the woman's hip before she said, "This is my new pet nya, her name is Iris and she is a local who is more than willing to serve me nya. She can help us with many things I think, especially more modern magic nya."
FyrTheHunter |
' So not food, well for me. Sadness. Ill change back to myself when we get far enough from the village. Then I can see about game and surroundings under the cover of daekness.' Fyt said wondering what the fame and natural foods are around here. Though she did crave more raw meat then not. Probably the monster inside.
'Thats if I can, or are we going to be using a faster means of travel?'
Kristrille Iris |
She catches herself at hearing the negative tone Desseer was speaking to her with. She simply points out, "Ah, yes the Great Ones. Noted. If it is such a bother with them knowing your name we could kill them all."
So'ren Al'gith |
"I can assist with the identification" So'ren offers.
Spellcraft/Kn Arcana 20d20 ⇒ (4, 5, 8, 13, 16, 8, 3, 20, 13, 1, 12, 4, 15, 8, 14, 12, 7, 1, 8, 6) = 178 +16
I did not count as separate each of the candles, silverware, etc into individual rolls, but I did with the rings. I counted 20, let me know if I need to make more rolls.
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. After the exhale, he opens his eyes upon Iris. "I will give you a minor amount of patience because you are Myriana's, and a minor amount more as it is likely you are not in your right mind," he says neutrally. He holds up an index finger, "Firstly, dead people are significantly less useful than manipulated living ones. Second," his adjacent middle finger raises, "the time. Third, the effort. Fourth, the chances that we don't manage to kill them all is high. And fifth, because I don't feel like continuing the list, I also don't feel like waging a war against an entire nation, which really harkens back to two and three," Desseer concludes with all his fingers raised. "All of that said," he continues with a hint of charm, "you do have an opportunity to move up in my book if you can provide us with some useful information about this Veil Kingdom, its structure, and its history. But not yet."
He then looks back to Myriana, "First, we need to begin heading to our next destination. I would prefer Drother, which is apparently half a day's walk north. I don't see a need to travel faster as I'd like Iris's information before reaching Drother. Also, this would allow Fyr to hunt. But this plan does include your pet, Myriana. So I'd like your thoughts."
Galah'ad |
"Well, we already made our friends wait this much, might as well take a look at these magic items to make sure we are not taking anything dangerous into our base"

That should cover all 31 items and weapons, with So'ren and me
GM Wolf |
Galah'ad |
"The ring of forcefangs..." - He says, trying to control the excitment in his voice
As a Ghost, Galahad had 50% resistance against all magical damage, except for, well, force damage. This ring was not only somewhat rare, but also extremely useful to him. He looks at So'ren and Morgrave before reaching for it.
"Morgrave, as you were once a Ghost such as I you must be aware of the reason why I would want such a ring. Is it acceptable if I take it? What about you So'ren? You may take the other rings and ammulets if you desire. Also, if you do not mind I'd like to take the Vicious weapon, as I have resistance to all magic damage except force I'm able to at least somewhat resist the blowback of such weapon. The ring of swarming stabs might also be useful considering my proeficiency with stealth, but I won't mind if anyone else can make use of it."
He looks at the headband, the other rings and the ammulets, he already had a headband similar to this one. He was already proeficient with his fists and Ghosts unfortunately could not benefit from natural armor in YGGDRASIL and he didn't expect it to be any different in this world, so the ammulets were not of any help to him.
Myriana |
Myriana nodded along in agreement with Deseer's points as to why killing everyone was a bad idea, he was very right on his points and she was quite glad that he was giving Iris another chance. As Desser gave his plan on what they should do Myriana nodded and said, "That sounds good to me nya. I know Iris will be more than happy to give us whatever information she can" she looked at Iris beside, "Isn't that right nya."
FyrTheHunter |
Also this forms time os limited so I am gonna fly ahead and find a nice place to shift back. I will watch for you. I might suggest grabbing a pack animal, Jimmy is leading franklin back to the Guild hall.' Fyr says as a bird and then caws at Myriana ans then Iris.
Also of she betrays us Ill eat her, slowly overtime as she remains alive and paralyzes within my webs!' Fyr reitorates waiting for a direction to head towards so she can change back.
So'ren Al'gith |
"Ah, the headband of alluring would be the most useful item for me." So'ren says after examining the items. "Most of the rest is of little consequence to me. I suggest you and John take your picks and we return the rest to the guildhouse. It is quite the haul."
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer nods. "The good news about there being a coast that persists in the same direction," he says with a playful smile, "is that it's easy to remember which direction is which." Desseer points to the coast and then points with his other hand about ninety degrees. "That way is north! Let's go!"
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin |
Kristrille Iris |
She nods in agreement with Myriana, recognizing they may treat her at best like a pet, and it is prudent to not speak.
They head north towards Drother. Soon enough Fyr finds them. Once out of sight of the fishing village she asks, Shall I begin with the broad strokes about the Veil Kingdom?"
With that answered she speaks to what the common man would know, "Its structure is that of a monarchy with lords as nobles as the land owners. There is no forced religion as many temples reside in the capital and the Veil's lands. Though evil doers should beware of the paladins and knights who are the main force in the armies and keeping peace in the lands. It's history you will need to ask specific questions for that. The Veil Kingdom is only a few hundred years old. The original king heir protected the lands from an army of goblins and shaiguins. The Dwarven Empire allowed us to cede from them and be our own country. Those early days were bloody as many lords thought they should rule and lost their heads for it."
k history: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
k nobility: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
FyrTheHunter |
Fyr becomes her large spidery self and smiles as she adjusts her web bundle and dresses herself as they walk. Eventually she looks at the woman snd asks.
" Question are you an agricultural power? I ask because so far all I have seen is agricultural efforts"Fyr says looking at the woman towering over them on jer spidery legs.
Galah'ad |
Ah, these youngsters... No, wait, are they young?
He didn't really knew So'rens exact age, or maybe he just didn't remember it, and Morgrave was biologically immortal since he was a sublime being, so he may as well be 100 years old. And if he counted the time he spent as a Ghost he was easily older than that.
Shaking his head slightly he told Morgrave
"No problem at all, but I do believe we left the Warforged and the table of ressurrection in the room where you recovered your body, we can take them back on the way out"
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin |
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer thinks for several moments.
"Are there paladins everywhere or just in the capital? Are the officials knights or paladins? Are there few officials or many? Do they know each other?"
Kristrille Iris |
"There are many agents and officials for the capital, none out this far though. Next village we might see a few. Knights are basically mounted defense forces for the larger towns, they are typically ruled by a lord, noble, or paladin. There are far fewer paladins outside of the capital compared to those within. If you see a great dust plume and likely it is a brigade of knights. Maintaining safety and visibility on the roads."
Myriana |
As Iris began to explain general information to them she found it interesting, and disturbing, as she considered what it all might mean to them, and her in particular as holy magics were her natural bane. "Will these patrols accost us if they see us? Will they attack us on sight if they realize what we are?"
FyrTheHunter |
Fyr smiles ans giggles." Depends morsel on you if you find yourself in my belly. Though if you femain a good girl I promise to drape you in finery. I know Myriana will appreciate it. Ooo do you like pink!"
After it moves to having to defend oneself, Fyr adjusts her crossbow and then thinks." Calavary would be advantageous here. Unless we alter the terrian in our favor. Personally mine is Traps, and quick strikes. Followed by a volley of magicand mundane."
" Though I do hate canned meat. Though if you think about it the knights come in there own cookware, is to roast! Ooo or capture a few alive and let my babies crawl under the can in a horrible prison of their own death." She giggles again gleefully as she looked back at thiswitch.
" So why choose monsters over humans?" She asked wondering why this meat qas so docile.
GM Wolf |
"You mean Mistress of the Night and Mistress of the Underdark?"/b] Indicating Myriana first and Fyr second. She slightly nods her head saying, "Yew the paladins will likely send the command to attack if they realize what you are. Though I believe they need to be within 60 feet of you to detect."
She slowly responds, "Pink is not easily attained especially in the villages. ...I recognized a common thread with the Mistress of the Night. Peasants don't understand the arcane and my master is dead, best time as ever to find a new place with strong allies!"
Galah'ad |
"I believe I can carry them by myself, but I don't think I'd want to carry it all the way back to the guild unless completely necessary. As it would leave my hands full. Help would be welcome. Also, I'd like to avoid touching the table of ressurrection" - He says, remembering the burst of positive energy.
Desseer Arnalc |
Desseer stops walking for a moment and gestures for the others to do so as well.
"Paladins can be problematic but they only have basic detection magic. Here..," he says as he closes his eyes. Over the next several seconds he focuses on Myriana, then Fyr, then himself. Three times there is a minor swirl of air that culminates into a small burst of color that cascades over the individual and then dissipates.
"Alright," he says after it is all over. "Our alignments are undetectable for the next 48 hours." He then begins walking once more.
"How important are the officials? How do I spot them? How much do they communicate with each other?"
I cast an extended Undetectable Alignment on each of us
Kristrille Iris |
She relays as they make a quick stop, "Officials have many jobs, mostly to just collect tax. But as needed they could be a sheriff, clerk, mayor, judge, audicator, barrister, and the list continues. They all wear the same type of talberd with magical runes embedded in them. Though there are five types, brown, yellow, green, blue, and red. A white one is a novice and is in training, I was one before meeting my former master. Browns focus more on knowledge and keeping the history. Green focuses more on agriculture. Yellow focus more on the well being of the people. Blue focuses on water collection and flow. Red is focused on creating fire keeping the streets lit, fires burning and waste incineration. They may gain medals for merit, or years of service. The medals I have seen are clubs, stars, hearts, spades, diamonds, chevrons, squares, triangles, and circles. I know the circle means special merit which is around the other associated medals. The more medals the more clout they have."
FyrTheHunter |
" Thank you, though Ill need to figure out how to hide myself from normal soght. Though, at night its not as hard. Also we should camp soon. I need to eat I suspect she needs to eat, and I need to regain ky power to wild shape"
The droder continues to walk as she looks around. As she does she looks for sign of game.
Survival: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 27
Myriana |
Myriana nodded her thanks to Deseer after he cast his spell on each of them. That would help with the paladins sensing their alignments but not if they recognized her for what she was by her features. Considering the issue Myriana knew he would need to change her form if they came to better hide what she was. "Well, that is quite helpful nya. What can you tell us about magic nya? What are the most powerful mages you have heard of? Same thing about priests and such, how powerful of magic have you heard of them using nya?"
Kristrille Iris |
She relays, "There are myths and legends of heroes with arcane and divine that could cast the highest magic of seventh teir. During my work for the green officials, I heard about some magicians able to cast 5th teir magic. Though casting 3rd teir magic is magic is hard for most to attain without years of study."
Galah'ad |
Once outside Galahad looked at the sky and realized quite some time had passed. He was a tad worried for his friends that had stayed to explore the village.
"You think we should take this all back to the guild right away or meeting our friends comes first? I must say I'm rather curious as to what they have found out, but I wouldn't wanna leave Breaking Dawn carrying all of this for the whole trip"
Warlord John Morgrave Sorbin |
Soren should put the table in one of her inventory spots. Galahad take the warforge which only takes one spot. The chest is one spot... from what I can tell the small magical and non magical items could easily be in a bag. We just need people to say what they have.
Galahad and Soren please let me know the rundown of your inventory spots. You each have a total of 20.
List of loot please tell us what you are holding onto, otherwise John will.
table of ressurrection
Warforge body
Frost +1
Thundering +1
Silver amulet with saffires (unidentified)
Righteous fist amulet
Soren: headband of alluring
Galahad: rings and Vicious weapon
John:
the ring of protection
ring of jumping.
Scabbard of honing, Bracers of verdant vine, amulet of natural armor, and the rod of ice

With that all sorted out John follows Soren to Breaking Dawn. When he mounts up behind Soren he rests one hand on the back of her hip as he grabs the loose fur on its back....
The group lazily heads back to the farthest fishing village?
Desseer Arnalc |
"Interesting..," Desseer responds to Iris's information. "Seventh tier..."
After a few moments of musing he comes back to. "Myriana, can you look after us if we sleep? It would appear that this body does get tired."
