Wow! That's amazing! It's going to take a while to process. For clarification, the items I'm currently using/wearing don't count towards my inventory space, right? Cause then I think I have 11 vacant slots in mine. Also can I use spellcraft on the weapons/rings to see what they do?

That was a lot of work, but I gotta say, it was worth it to find all of this! - Galahad tells So'ren and Morgrave, in his former body the sheer dungeon crawling they've been doing so far would have exhausted him, but now he didn't feel any different from when they started, this new form sure had it's perks.

Speaking frankly, I believe we should move all of it back to the guild, but there is so much stuff that I can't estimate how long it would take to do it. Do you believe we should take the things that catch our eye the most at the moment, set some sort of temporary base here and then call the others to move the rest?

Iris:
Myriana was pleased at teh witch's willingness and helped her by simply picking her up. While Myriana wasn't very strong she could still do this much and carried her newfound devotee into the bedroom.

When they reached the bedroom Myriana set Iris down and told her, "Strip for me nya." She sat back and eagerly watched as the woman removed her clothing, wondering just what she would look like.

Iris:
Myriana watched eagerly as the witch removed her garments, a process which did not take her long since she was wearing a dark purple sundress, and let the dress puddle about her feet.Her skin was smooth and pale, her breasts were rather large for a catfolk, particularly one as slender and short as was, her waist was rather narrow, and her tail lashed behind her. Other than on her head and tail there was nary a spot of hair on her body.

Myriana approached Iris and crawled over her on the bed until she sat astride the witch's body and leaned in close. Her bare breasts pressed against Iris' own tits and the feel of the vampire was cool against the witch's skin. "You are beautiful little witch and I am very much going to enjoy this nya."

There is no reason for the side scene to slow down the main game.

Myriana eventually reappeared as Desseer wandered around looking for her and when he saw her she very much looked like the proverbial cat that ate the canary.

Desseer raises an eyebrow at Myriana. Despite that he says aloud, "Thank goodness I found you madam. I admit, I was a little concerned for your wellbeing when you disappeared earlier. Is everything well?"

The beautiful, for this homely village, woman steps behind Myriana. She is dressed provocativly with knee high stockings, a pointed hat, a cloak, and a nearly skin tight shirt that shows off all her curves. She claps her hands and the door folds up, a splashing sound can be heard inside, then a cauldron follows her out with an assortment of objects. "They can keep the hut." She says nearly to herself.

"Breaking Dawn can carry quite a bit, especially if bereft of riders. It think we should be able to get this in one trip if we pack properly." So'ren offers. He eyes linger on the Tomes.

I want them all. Probably would be unfair to ask though.

He then turns back to the new lady with a serious expression. "Please refrain from using that name," he says cooly. "I didn't introduce myself earlier to the people and I'd like to keep one of the names I go by withheld." His eyes narrow dangerously and he adds, "If you don't think that you can manage that, I can assist."

"That said," he continues, his demeanor completely changing to friendly as he addresses Myriana, "Myriana, I found out that a larger village and the capital of this kingdom is to the north along the coast. I'd like to make a stop at the larger one and then go to the capital. What do you want to do?"

Myriana was more than pleased to hear Iris come out of the house just after her and turned to watch as she magically gathered her things. "Do forgiver her Deseer, she is a bit loopy from...," she looked around cautiously before she added in a more roundabout phrasing, [v]feeding me, nya."[/b] She gave Iris astern look as she said, "You can refer to them as Great Ones for now nya."

Myriana looked back at her companions and then pulled Iris to her side, one hand going to rest on the woman's hip before she said, "This is my new pet nya, her name is Iris and she is a local who is more than willing to serve me nya. She can help us with many things I think, especially more modern magic nya."

Desseer closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. After the exhale, he opens his eyes upon Iris. "I will give you a minor amount of patience because you are Myriana's, and a minor amount more as it is likely you are not in your right mind," he says neutrally. He holds up an index finger, "Firstly, dead people are significantly less useful than manipulated living ones. Second," his adjacent middle finger raises, "the time. Third, the effort. Fourth, the chances that we don't manage to kill them all is high. And fifth, because I don't feel like continuing the list, I also don't feel like waging a war against an entire nation, which really harkens back to two and three," Desseer concludes with all his fingers raised. "All of that said," he continues with a hint of charm, "you do have an opportunity to move up in my book if you can provide us with some useful information about this Veil Kingdom, its structure, and its history. But not yet."

He then looks back to Myriana, "First, we need to begin heading to our next destination. I would prefer Drother, which is apparently half a day's walk north. I don't see a need to travel faster as I'd like Iris's information before reaching Drother. Also, this would allow Fyr to hunt. But this plan does include your pet, Myriana. So I'd like your thoughts."

Alright, I'll do the checks for the 3 magic weapons and the 8 items in the chest. Since I think So'ren forgot about them. I don't think we have a way of communicating to others unless So'ren has a spell for that. I took Craft Wondrous item so I think I'll try crafting something that can help us with that in the future.

Galahad's eyes go wide when he notices a particular ring in the trove

"The ring of forcefangs..." - He says, trying to control the excitment in his voice

As a Ghost, Galahad had 50% resistance against all magical damage, except for, well, force damage. This ring was not only somewhat rare, but also extremely useful to him. He looks at So'ren and Morgrave before reaching for it.

"Morgrave, as you were once a Ghost such as I you must be aware of the reason why I would want such a ring. Is it acceptable if I take it? What about you So'ren? You may take the other rings and ammulets if you desire. Also, if you do not mind I'd like to take the Vicious weapon, as I have resistance to all magic damage except force I'm able to at least somewhat resist the blowback of such weapon. The ring of swarming stabs might also be useful considering my proeficiency with stealth, but I won't mind if anyone else can make use of it."

He looks at the headband, the other rings and the ammulets, he already had a headband similar to this one. He was already proeficient with his fists and Ghosts unfortunately could not benefit from natural armor in YGGDRASIL and he didn't expect it to be any different in this world, so the ammulets were not of any help to him.

Myriana nodded along in agreement with Deseer's points as to why killing everyone was a bad idea, he was very right on his points and she was quite glad that he was giving Iris another chance. As Desser gave his plan on what they should do Myriana nodded and said, "That sounds good to me nya. I know Iris will be more than happy to give us whatever information she can" she looked at Iris beside, "Isn't that right nya."

Iris:
Myriana moaned at the feeling of Iris play with her clit and she hungrily began to kiss the witch's lips. Desseer nods. "The good news about there being a coast that persists in the same direction," he says with a playful smile, "is that it's easy to remember which direction is which." Desseer points to the coast and then points with his other hand about ninety degrees. "That way is north! Let's go!"

As Galahad shows interest in the rings and Vicious weapon he shrugs, "You may have them. Whatever is useful should be used. Thus I would like the ring of protection and jumping. Soren I am surprised you don't have something making you such a majestic beauty." The compliment was obvious. He coughs and adds, "I would also like the Scabbard of honing, Bracers of verdant vine, amulet of natural armor, and the rod of ice, unless Soren would like any of them. Oh Galahad did we collect the warforge frame, that and the table of ressurection would be great additions."

There is no forced religion as many temples reside in the capital and the Veil's lands. Though evil doers should beware of the paladins and knights who are the main force in the armies and keeping peace in the lands. It's history you will need to ask specific questions for that. The Veil Kingdom is only a few hundred years old. The original king heir protected the lands from an army of goblins and shaiguins. The Dwarven Empire allowed us to cede from them and be our own country. Those early days were bloody as many lords thought they should rule and lost their heads for it."

Knights are basically mounted defense forces for the larger towns, they are typically ruled by a lord, noble, or paladin. There are far fewer paladins outside of the capital compared to those within. She relays as they make a quick stop, "Officials have many jobs, mostly to just collect tax. But as needed they could be a sheriff, clerk, mayor, judge, audicator, barrister, and the list continues. They all wear the same type of talberd with magical runes embedded in them. Though there are five types, brown, yellow, green, blue, and red. A white one is a novice and is in training, I was one before meeting my former master. Browns focus more on knowledge and keeping the history. Green focuses more on agriculture. Yellow focus more on the well being of the people. Blue focuses on water collection and flow. Red is focused on creating fire keeping the streets lit, fires burning and waste incineration. They may gain medals for merit, or years of service. The medals I have seen are clubs, stars, hearts, spades, diamonds, chevrons, squares, triangles, and circles. I know the circle means special merit which is around the other associated medals. The more medals the more clout they have."

That would help with the paladins sensing their alignments but not if they recognized her for what she was by her features. That depends on how much Breaking Dawn is carrying. If I'm only taking the items I personally intend to use then I still have 10 slots left. If So'Ren needs us to carry more things then there's space

Anyone interested in an Overlord type game?!

The end and a new beginning:

It was the year 2138 A.D., and the term DMMO-RPG was not only in existence, but also
becoming more common. Being the acronym for "Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game", it described an interactive game where one was able to play in a virtual world like it was
real life, by connecting a dedicated console to the neuron nanointerface— an
intracerebral nanocomputer network composed from the quintessence of cyber- and
nanotechnology.
It was as though you entered the game for real.

Amidst a myriad of DMMO-RPGs that were developed, there was one title that shined
brilliantly.

Yggdrasil.

It was a game that a highly-regarded Japanese developer released twelve years ago in
the year 2126.

No matter which DMMO-RPG it was compared to, Yggdrasil was a game that offered
an immensely high level of freedom to the players.

The number of classes that formed the basis of the game easily topped 2000 when you
added up the normal and high-rank classes.

All classes had a maximum level of 20, though there was an option to level up in different classes. Meaning a player could have many classes to reach the overall level cap of 100. As gaining XP at higher levels was much harder many players would switch classes around 10th level.

Furthermore, you were able to just have a taste of various classes as long as you
satisfied this overall condition. Although it was inefficient, it was possible to have 100
level one professions if you wanted.

In other words, it was a system where it was impossible to have completely identical
characters unless you intentionally made them so.

This level of freedom also applied to the visuals. If you used creator tools that were
sold separately, you were able to alter appearances of weapons and armor, interior
data, character visuals, and detailed settings of a player's home.

What awaited the players who set off for adventures in such a world was a colossal
map. Nine homeworlds consisting of Asgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard,
Jotunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Muspelheim.

A vast world, innumerable classes, and fully customizable visuals.

It had ignited the artisan spirits of the Japanese players and caused a phenomenon
that would later be called 'visual popularity'.

With such explosive popularity behind it, it had reached a level of acclaim where
Yggdrasil and DMMO-RPG were considered as one and the same in Japan.

—Alas, that was a story of a generation past

No Tax Feats.
2 traits.
7th level characters. Roll for all hit points but 1st level which is max.

Your character can do one of the 5 options below:
7th level Gestalt character with one template CR 2 or below.
7th level character with two templates both CR 2 or below.
Monstrous race with 4 HD, and 3rd level gestalt character.
Monstrous race with 2 HD, and 5th level gestalt character.
Or a mixup of the options above.

Ain's guildmembers all had to be a monster race, we decided to do that as well.

background skills

20,000 gp to spend on your equipment, you cannot spend more than half on one item. You can recover at most 5,000 gp in creating items of your own.

Everyone will need to pick a craft or profession you can develop to the extreme!

For each 3 paragraphs of background you gain additional perks: 1 - extra trait, 2 - extra feat, 3 - extra +2 to an ability score, 4 - gain a mount CR 3 or below, 5 - gain a crafting feat, 6 - gain a wish, 7 - gain a magical ring no more than 8,000 gp (You must write the description, abilities, and background of the ring in your crunch as well), 8 - gain a familiar or animal companion, 9 - gain a super power, 10 - gain another 'Special' from another class, it cannot be a Special above 5th level.
I am fine if you want to conspire with other players to decide what you want to play... ;)

Yes 7th level is underpowered in compared to the series. Though you do get gestalt and likely a monstrous race. So with both of those you likely will be CR 10s.

* General monsters living in the post-Yggdrasil world
No. If we add anyone after the initial guild members they will likely come from the general monster population.
* Nazarick NPCs that become our PCs
No, we are replacing Nazarick with our own guild. We are restructuring all of the NPCS, of course you could keep on your favorites if you want. You are the guild members from the game before being Isekaied.

Yes you could easily be a minotaur. It has 6 racial HD, unless you find a variant with less, then you pick:

or 1 level in a class and a CR +1 template

A saytr has 8 HD so that won't work.

As I said, I'd love to do a minotaur but not sure how to actually do the whole monster as pc thing so I'm pretty much stuck trying to figure out how to do all this.

I am interested, but it is tough to make characters like this. So many options on the table means a lot of decision paralysis. There's also a few decent level + gestalt games recruiting at the same time so I'm sure people are working on multiple characters at once.


I can understand that but if you don't post at least once per day this game won't work.

Easiest response is

Monstrous race with 2 HD, and 5th level gestalt character.


I don't think you understood my question.

The way you've set it up anyone who takes any monstrous HD will fall behind in terms of spellcasting compared to people who took templates. I'm wondering if we can remedy this so that people who want to play casters don't feel forced into taking the template options?

7 levels of one class, then 5 levels in another with the 2 HD

Yes this recruitment is still open, though to lack of posts the game may be withdrawn. I expect every player attempting to make a character to post at least once per day.

As the group coming in is forming as a rival guild, you will get to set the standards. Still looking for a guild master.


Most people would have assumed that 1 post a day would come into affect after they've made their character and been formally accepted into the game. That's how it usually works.

So far it looks like vegecannibal has the closest thing to a completed character and that is a far cry.

i wanted to get a little bit of discussion going/make sure i wasn't writing for no reason before i started hammering away at the backstory


We need to start throwing out ideas. From what I have seen you guys will be coming in as a rival guild, is that the route we want to continue? Any idea of a name? Creed? What was your guild known for?

So it looks like vegecannibal is the only completed submission so far.

Nickadeamous and Veegees how much time do you need? We are looking for just the basic crunch done and we will work on making the guild, background stories and such next.


I'm waiting to see if I get in another group and they've just said they might not have a decision till the 10th. I can't really commit to this game till then and it doesn't sound like you want to wait that long so I'm going to have to drop out.
