The mushroom, of doom, watches the events with great interest. Especially the inane “entertaining” diddy sung by the Elf….

![]() |

With Minuet performing, the crowd is distracted! The other Pathfinders can now try to get Khayrat's attention and calm him.
Examples: Arcana or Occultism to help him understand that the illusion isn’t real, Medicine to coach him through a calming breathing exercise, or Diplomacy to help him realize the illogical nature of his perceived. Other solutions are possible.

![]() |

Camina gets the attention of Khayrat, but it isn't enough. Need at least one more success.

![]() |

The mushroom, of doom, would help but this is all very amusing.
If Acrobatics or Stealth could be used to either bounce around to gain his attention or sneak up to him and take his hand to pull him away…. I’ll continue to observe
Gratt should Diplomacise! :)

He just brushes off, at best, physical attempts to modify his behavior. And, Camina could try again.

Gratt attempts to get Khayrat's attention and calmly talk to him about what's happening.
Gratt's Diplomacy (T): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

![]() |

With Gratt and Camina working together, Khayrat breaks free of the illusion and he then regains his composure. He steps up to the two, "Thank you. I... I was trapped. In those walls that were not walls. I tried to play it off, but my friends...
"Thank you. Now that I am free, please accept a few tokens of my appreciation."
He hands Gratt a ladder feather token and three minor healing potion.
"It is the least that I can do."
Where to next?

![]() |

Let us move clockwise, to the room to the East helpfully marked as 2 on the map. Unless anyone else has a better idea? Oh, and I suggest the three of you take one each of these potions. I will hold onto the feather for now. Minuet states, as she puts the feather neatly into the braids over her left ear. If this does not seem secure, she will tuck it into the decorations on her waistcoat.

In the northwestern corner of this entry hall, an iron spiral staircase coils upward to the higher floors; it's currently roped off with a simple chain, from which dangles a sign reading, “Private Quarters—No Entry.”
All three sets of doors stand open.

![]() |

You make your way over to the next room.
The mouth-watering scent of cooking spices bursts through the opening doors, welcoming newcomers into a kitchen large enough to feed a small army. Fresh baked goods cool on the countertops, and bundles of dried herbs rustle in the breeze left by scattering sous chefs as they scramble away from the huge ovens in the far corner.
There, a whole roast goat that had been cooking steadily over a low fire has leapt from its position, thrashing about as though alive once more. The cook, a dwarf with thick silver hair, lies sprawled on the floor beside it, winded from a kick to the chest.
“It’s making a break for it!” she bellows, pointing at the goat. “Don’t let it get away!”
At the same time, two piles of silverware start swirling around, animated to attack!

If you are going to quote a spell, please put it in a quote tag. But, better would just be to link it. See below for example.
Minuet knows that the rampaging roast is mindless construct, not an animal. She believes that it will be immune to many things that constructs are immune to, such as; bleed, death effects, disease, doomed, drained, fatigued, healing, mental, necromancy, nonlethal
attacks, paralyzed, poison, sickened, unconscious. She guesses that they are resistant to bludgeoning damage.
She then casts her Tanglefoot spell, tangling up the Roast.

As Minuet dodges out of the silverware's way, she calls to her comrades Get out of the silverware swarms. I can get them all if you aren't there.
If this isn't allowed because it's not my turn, then disregard.

![]() |

I can't believe I am running from silverware, but here we are..
Camina moves away from the silverwarenado (Action 1) and considers what she has in her arsenal to help the situation. She thinks What the heck and casts Prestidigitation. She slowly lifts the silverware drawer that's been tossed to the ground to see if the irate cutlery wants to go home, or if anyone can put it back there. (Actions 2+3)

![]() |

Just for my clarification. The swarms are made up of lots of silverware pieces…. That is the first save. Then an individual fork, from the swarm, is attacking as well?? Can we target that fork? Or are the swarms moving into our squares, which causes damage and then one of many utensils is actually attacking? Sorry, I read back and it’s not clear to me.

Also if both the strikes hit from double slice, the damage is combined and only one resistance is applied. At least how I read it on aon. Unless, of course, it has resistance or hardness of 5, I suppose…gah.

That looks like a fail on the Reflex for Gratt, but he'll only take 3 points of damage (DR 3 physical from Cosmos mystery).

Correction... Leaf's attack does a LOT more damage. In fact, the Tekko-kagi carves off a large chunk!
Camina does not dodge the knife that slashes across her cheek, but she does manage to avoid the fork that tries to nail her to the ground. She pulls out the silverware tray, but the silverware does not respond.
