The tall ones stares down Benjii and attacks with its whip.

electrowhip 2, electro buggalo vs Benjii: 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (3) + 12 - 5 = 10

It then closes to threaten Tecla with its whip.

The remaining box chomps at Salka

but has no luck, it then rolls towards Neely for a chomp there instead.

This time Salka tries the cable on the other side of her armor.

By which I mean one more time: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

Okay so that's a +5 to my damage...

Then she tries to crush the yellow construct in front of her again.

Shield Smashy: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 9 + 1 = 30
Bludgeoning Damage: 1d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 1 = 12

Then she rushes up to try and assist Benji.

I haven't seen this thing use AoO yet so I assume I just run up to there and it swings at me with its 10ft reach. I'll reactive shield it as I end my move to at least not be crit by that but I'll take the damage.

Thecla's shield keeps it from being a crit but electricity does flow through Thecla's chain shirt and knocks them down.

It follows up with another strike.

Q-14 | Iron Battle

Neely crits with her battle axe once more, destroying the construct.

With the defenders destroyed you can explore further, eventually finding a collection of clockwork tools, shattered aeon stones and rotting piles of vellum fill the shelves in a crowded workspace. Large metal panels removed from the facility’s walls lie in the center of the room; etched into these panels are meticulous blueprints for a wayfinder identical to the one Muesello lent the party.

A signature on each panel reads “Preserver.” and furtehr investigation reveals the Wayfinder has a safety mechanism to prevent accidental conflicts between undercover agents under the effects of magical compulsion.

Records in hand, you can return to the Kingfisher. There Muesello, thrilled by the discoveries, awards each of you and promises them the first opportunity to obtain the next generation of wayfinders.
