Garen snatches a quick breath when the frog lets go with its spores. Feeling like he'll be fine for the near moment, he strides toward the next frog and swings.

Actually, did I read that wrong? The thing after the slash is what counters the DR right? So skeletons have DR 5/bludgeoning so bludgeoning attacks bypass their DR.

GM Polyfrequencies |

That is correct, Garen: the plagued frog (red) can only be overcome with slashing weapons. The fungal frog (green) seemed to have been affected normally by Silvio's bullet.
Although Median's arrow goes wide, smashing into the far side of the chamber, Garen slices through the fungal frog with a powerful blow.

Thanks for typing it out! If you have a standard tactic such that it's safe to assume that it's always in effect (like Sledge), then feel free to just keep it shortened like that. I typed everything out because I also want to be transparent. While I hope that you all aren't peeking behind the GM Screen spoilers, if you do then you'll hopefully see that I'm precise with the accounting.
Silvio swings his sling around and sends another bullet into the fungal frog. It smarts at the blow, and then Winter jumps up to take a bite out of the frog. The frog seems to deflate as the sheepdog wrenches one of its legs off of its body.
For Winter, the leg is tough and fibrous, with an unwelcome metallic taste. As he sinks his teeth into it, he feels an instinct to retch. Winter needs to make a DC 13 Fortitude save.

The d100 was to hold your breath and avoid having to make the save. I provided information about that in the "Holding Your Breath" spoiler on Thursday's post.
I also moved Sledge up to where he would need to attempt to climb.
As Winter begins to question his dietary decisions and Sledge struggles to clamber atop the sarcophagus, the adventurers are able to avoid breathing in any of the strange toxic cloud. But the cloud still hangs in the air as one frog remains, uninjured and looking very hungry.

It is not this frog's day, though. Whether its vision is obscured because of the cloud of spores or its undead state makes it less able to control its muscles, its tongue goes wide around Winter, lapping up some water but getting no closer to claiming an oversized meal. The frog dives back under the water and begins to swimming away. Despite trying to twist out of the way, the plagued frog leaves itself open to attack as it swims away from Winter, and then emerges back up next to Garen, looking up hungrily at a more appropriately-sized meal in Silvio...
The frog provokes attacks of opportunity from Garen. Winter is unable to take an AoO due to being nauseated.

Winter Fort save vs Spores: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Although Garen's initial attack fails to penetrate the plagued frog's defenses, his follow-up slash cuts through the hideous undead creature and shows the rotting sinew beneath. Silvio's attack is less effective, though it looks like if his aim had been more accurate that he could have dealt a telling blow. Everyone, Winter included, manages to stave off the effects of whatever the cloud of spores might do. Meanwhile, Sledge engages in some pantomime with Median over whether or not to attempt to use fire on the spores. Unfortunately, Sledge isn't certain about whether or not this might be effective. Natural phenomena were among the subjects that Sledge had not paid sufficient attention to in Master Holgast's rambling lectures. For all Sledge knows, fire might have no effect, might harmlessly burn the spores away, or might make things worse. It will be difficult to know unless Median tries it.
The snake in Median's pack pokes its head up over her shoulder, flicking its tongue out as it stares into the room. Its head seems to turn almost as though in curiosity towards Winter, panting as he treads water towards the entrance. The snake wriggles on the sorceress' shoulder and Winter begins feeling somewhat better.

So Silvio is still in his own space, just grappled. But I'll take that as Garen's action this round if Silvio gets swallowed.
Silvio's blade arm flails and comes remarkably close to piercing the frog's thick hide. But there is something untoward about this zombified creature, and the dagger bounces off its hide. Winter fares no better, but Sledge jumps back into the water and lands a telling blow. Although the magus' flail was much better suited to fighting skeletons than zombies, he puts enough power behind it that the frog seems to buckle under the smack. And yet it still stands.
Median unleashes a gout of flames above the heads of the group, providing a light show to accompany the battle of frogs, bites, and steel. Unfortunately, the flames seem to do little to the spores other than make them glow. The fungus is immune to fire damage. Great thought, though!
Garen tries to angle around Sledge and the sarcophagus, but is unfortunately unable to manage to find a good way to strike the foul creature down.
The heavily damaged plagued frog seems intently focused on its meal. With a crunch, it lifts Silvio off of the sarcophagus and to everyone's horror swallows the poor halflng whole. Yikes! Almost max damage. Silvio takes 15 damage and has been swallowed whole!
Garen clambers atop the sarcophagus and strikes down at the frog. He carves through and, through the newly-opened gap in the frog's side, glimpses an unconscious halfling. The frog is reeling near death, but still stands.

Garen and Winter both attempt to cut or bite Silvio out of the frog, but their efforts are in vain as the bloated frog bobs in the water. But with a swinging flail, Sledge ends the zombie threat.
