Cev for sure needs to get back up to 6 Daggers.
Wouldn't mind sitting down with Lisi & Yas to make a more formal Healing & Medicine plan either. He did spend the 5gp for Healer's Tools, so no one else should. He can lend that kit.
What did you have in mind? I would not suggest people sharing a medkit. If we get separated, it might be a big problem. Not to mention action economy stuff.
Cevendyll
Really just to look at capacity, and then for Cev, what we want to sacrifice for access to healing. Was just playing around a little bit ago, and color me 'duh' but I forgot that clerics can also take Heals as part of their normal spell allotment: 5 Heals vs 3 could totally be a thing.
Just want to see what we all think.
2 Admonishing Rays is a thing too.

For some reliable healing on the way, I plan on taking Medicine Assurance and Continual Recovery at level 3. I don't know when that will come into effect, however.

This is exactly what I was looking for.
So really, Cev doesn't need to level up into being a doctor, you got that.He can stick to the divine stuff.

Sounds good. Only Fern knows when we will reach level 3, but that will let you auto-succeed at the basic Treat Wounds every 10 minutes.
I definitely won't need Life Boost then. Between that and Goodberrry we should have out of combat healing reasonably well covered.

This is a really good point: Cev will go large with 5 Heals then

Life Boost isn't even available until level 2. And it is primarily out of combat healing - like Goodberry or Treat Wounds. Spell slot Heal competes more with the skill feat Battle Medicine.
Another option would be to pick up some scrolls of Heal. Carry one in hand when you run out of Divine Font slots so that it doesn't cost more actions when casting it.
And as a note, both Lisi and I also have Heal on our spell lists. I'm happy to let you take the primary healer role since you seem to want it.

Wow, good thought! My approach is almost always the least crafty of any one when making builds, but Scribe Scroll is an interesting thought.
Not a 'want it' thing so much as a place to excell. They are very different spell lists. Admonishing Ray is good, but Heal has so much versitility. You guys can buff in ways that Cev never could also.

Sorry team, catching up. Did we get the 15gp yet? I didn't see anything, but I might have missed it ...
It was hinted at, but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm presuming that we'll have the gold after this is resolved and Calmont is bound and gagged in a cell awaiting sentencing, and we're all Level 2.
Cevendyll
Cev will have to wait to commission some new daggers ...
All good
Thanks!
Cev is REALLY trying not to lay in to Calmont and go off on him in Goblin ... "disgusting little rat turd" came to mind.

Awww I just made my botting macros yesterday.
I jest. Good news, everyone!

I am not officially awake ... but ... I love this campaign and it's really good to hear that.

Ahaaaaaah! I can now have panache from the get go in combat.

Haha, it's probably partially my fault -- I close on my new house Monday and the hoops I've had to jump through the last two or three days have been like working a second job. So I've gone from like 3-6 posts a day to 1-2. ;)
I'm psyched for the new place but I better always like it as much as I do right now, because I NEVER want to go through all this again, rofl.
Soooooooo if you close Monday ... that also means a move in the pretty near future, right? KInda like having a 3rd job? So exciting though!

Well, that will also definitely change what I have planned to buy in town.
Not complaining though ;-)

We're only moving across town, so instead of one big moving day we're going to slowly leak from our apartment to the house, lol. Gotta get internet hooked up first, and I plan to paint the unfinished 100 year old basement so it looks less like something from a horror film, and then the moving shall commence. My cats will be very angry with me for a while, methinks.

Hmm, no clue what Feat to chose. No Cause For Alarm is really powerful. Bon Mot isn't bad either. Most of the Medicine/Nature feats are circumstantial (aka suck) and it seems like the party has a diverse number of healing options anyhow. Any ideas? I'm thinking NCFA otherwise.
Caiten
Bon Mot would be great. It is a good 3rd action (which usually you actually use first so that you benefit from it too ;-), It also reduces the enemy's Will save - which is fantastic for the two divine spellcasters. You might not benefit from it directly as much since most of your offense spells target reflex.
Javell DeLeon
Battle Medicine would always come in handy. Train Animal? Assurance maybe?
Risky surgery could prove interesting. That sounds like something Yasamina would potentially roll with.
Yasamina: "I got this. And just IN CASE this hurts a little, for the record, you'll thank me later. Trust me." ;)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course using Bon Mot would require the bad guy to be able to understand you. Probably not "Bon Mot(ing?)" an overgrown lizard. :P
Bon Mot DOES look pretty fun though. My issue with it is, it seems like "half" of a waste though. What's the point of the -3 perception? Not really sure how that makes a difference in combat.
Lisitsei Nagorát
Battle Medicine is nice. With Hero Points to spare, I think I can forego Assurance for those nasty "oops, harmed you" rolls.
-3 to Will Saves is STRONG.
Caiten
Making sure that you don't get surprised by something: The -3 is only on a Crit. It is -2 for normal success. Which is still really good.

15 gold EACH?! Seriously?! Man that's cool. I thought it was TOTAL. (Heck, I'd totally forgotten about the reward). :P
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that's true. Hero points do help in that regard per Assurance.
And -3 is pretty stout. Hey, if that's what your gut's telling you, go for it I say. It's what I try and do. I try to find something that "fits". :)

In gameplay, I am waiting a bit to see if Dario, Cev, or anyone else is immediately coming to Quarters and Bits too. It may make a difference with the dialog depending on who is there.

Absolutely Cev will go with K10.
Dario Zuz
Dario will be switching up his kit just the tiniest of bits; I'm replacing the main-gauche with a short sword, picking up a hand crossbow and bolts, and that is about it. Dario now has munitions crafter, so he'll basically never run out of bullets but can also make some basic bombs and such. I took terrain stalker for my Rogue Dedication and had it focus on rubble so he will be good for indoor sneaking for sure.
With him gaining Surprise Attack, I'm also going to try and make sure to start combats with Stealth rather than Perception. Anyone I beat starts flat-footed against me and any way to give me that more of a chance to critical with the pistol is worth it.

2nd level is when our Free Archetype kicks in, yeah? I wasn't hallucinating that we're doing that right?
Caiten
I remember discussing that too. And also took Rogue, though for different purposes than you are.
Caiten
For me it is the survivability as a light melee. Light armor (unfortunately loses effectiveness at level 5, but hey, good when I need it most), Nimble dodge, and Mobility. Then I will probably move on to a different archetype.
Javell DeLeon
But you're a witch though. I'm thinking you REALLY don't want to be caught in melee. Armor doesn't strike me as something that would be a focus for witches.
Are witches melee oriented? I really don't know anything about them in PF2. I would guess not - per PF1 - but PF2 is different so I could be way wrong.
Javell DeLeon
Oh man I didn't think about that. Are we going to stay in town until tomorrow then? Hasn't the day just begun?
But if we have to we have to. We'll just have to fast forward to tomorrow if that's the case. It seems weird seeing how we just rested but it is what it is. I see what you mean.
Caiten
I'm not entirely sure what time of day it is in-game. Probably not all that late though. Mid-day maybe?
I spent both of my spell slots already, but cantrips will be fine for me for now.
Caiten

Sorry. I missed this earlier.
No, Witch class is definitely not melee oriented. But without everyone having AoO automatically, it is harder to hold a front-line. Enemies can fairly easily get through. So I am taking steps to make sure that my 6HP/level no-armor standard settings aren't all that I am trying to survive with.
Javell DeLeon
If you're affected by multiple Clumsy 1 from various sources, do they all stack? For instance, say you had 3 different "whatever" affecting you and they each had Clumsy 1 attached to it, would it then be Clumsy 3?
Edit: What if there's a Clumsy 2 and a Clumsy 1? Would THAT be Clumsy 3 also?
Caiten
Redundant Conditions with Values. Short answer, no. Just use the one with the highest value.
Does have a bit of an edge case when the value is a dice roll. Persistent Damage is the most common condition with a dice roll as a value. And having multiple instances of the same type of Persistent Damage would be very rare.
Cevendyll
So crack of dawn, kinda like it is NOT right now here, pitch black when other people can sleep :(
Really though, like the first day of school. Everybody bathes, turns in early, Cev will volunteer to clean people's clothes and gear magically if they want. Turn in around 10pm, get up and eat and leave like 5 or 6am ... then off to kill all the sleepy monsters, all full of spells and level 2 goodness!!!
Cevendyll
Question for you FERN: Cev will of course replace his 3 daggers to get back up to 6, but, I also wanted to know if he could buy a handfull of shuriken.
Since TKP damage isn't relative to the object thrown (only damage type) seems like a cheaper more plentiful alternative. I would buy 10 if that's okay.
Thanks!

I've been packing and I'm heading out on the road, but mmm, Geomancer is a neat Free Archetype.

Enjoy the time off! I'll try to not to have Lisi killed by the time you get back, I promise.
