Have to say I'm enjoying reading through the backstory of the campaign you know all the old posts and stuff take me a while but I'm enjoying it.

And in character for when I was 20? Probably wishing for some giant blooded template? I was super hung up over being fairly small, a bit later I went to China on a martial arts competition, which cured my size complex.
Actual Giant blooded is some broken 3rd party stuff though (+10 STR? roflwtf?), thats clearly not a suitable powerlevel.

Going with the Russian theme, Boreal creature? Decently powerful if we houserule it to work on unarmed attacks. CR is just +1 so its not some bonkers stuff like the aforementioned giantblooded.

Alternatively, I was a huge fan of X-Men at that age, and Mutant creature Is pretty cool.

Straight giant blooded would be 26 effing strength base, and if I go overdrive (bloodrager and mutagen) it would be 36ish strength (or 2 less then some demon lords). Like, that strength is fine at level 16, not at level 4 .

if I was Gming I wouldnt be too fond of that :).

Life does in fact happen.


Yup life kicked in my teeth on the last day I was posting. I haven't been in the right mindset since then and just trying to make sure I am over prepared, I read my lessons multiple times. My stress level has been within range of my normal times this past week but still doing lots of prep work. Then I have been exhausted since all the doubleshifts that I have practically been doing, so I got home and crashed.... Ahhhh!

I do hope to post at least once a night but it will likely be quick responses. We will see, please give me grace and I hope the game picks up speed again!

I hear alot of options being tossed around. Now you need to decide which you will do, all of those options seem reasonable. Though be careful what you wish for... ;)

I would be going for mutant creaure, although more collosus then wolverine flavored.
I also think I am about to find out that I am currently the weakest character in the group I guess :).

Mutant creature would get me 2 mutations because I already have 4 hitdice, I think the combination of rugged and fast healing would work well enough.

Mutants get:

A mutant gains a +4 bonus to two ability scores of its choice and takes a –2 penalty to two ability scores of its choice.

I am also looking at:
Vulnerability (Ex)

The mutant is vulnerable to one energy type. If the base creature has innate resistance or immunity to that energy type, it loses those abilities.
To lightning because yeah, Steelskin is weak to that, this would give me a third ability:
Probably sealed mind.

If I chose Spell Resistance, how much would that go up, if at all?

I'm leaning towards fly, dex, and either spell resistance or strength. With my con being so low, I can't afford having weakness to a fairly common energy type that also stifles my regen.

Correct so if you choose the spell, fly, then you can cast it 4 times per day. Spell resistance would likely just give you a 2 or 3 bump. How much do you have?

Yup, you and Angelica I believe. The amulet begins to activate but it takes 10 minutes for the casting.

I have a hard time following tbh.

Alexandr would be shellshocked by a near death vision from getting one turned by a mook from 100 to zero (are these guys hasted btw? how do they attack twice with greatswords at no attack penalty?), then acidified, and then even more shell shocked when a 29 damage punch (or the 24 does not confirm?) did nothing. And then acidified, either once, in which case he lives, or twice, in which case he is completely dead.

Assuming I only got acidified once, I am at 4 HP because I am out of rage rounds (only got 7 per day), and am fatigued for 14 turns.

He would probably have switched to attempting to provide flanks and aid another actions against the boss, doesnt really have a clear way out, and since the boss apparently has more then DR10/magic that a normal grave knight has, and since Alexandr does realistically get one shot by an AoO from him....

1st off, you just entered the game. You weren't suppose to fight the graveknight, actions provoked him. No it was just a DR 10/chaos and magic. Flanks check! Aids would have been a good choice. My post for your and Jean's attacks is based on what you have done so far, I also posted, "Unless you want to do something else." You can still post for your action in round 8.

You since i didnt give a save for the destructive channel you auto save, so would most so only 7 damage there. Then the 30 from the fail, unless you post a different action. Final damage would be at 37.

The next step of the campaign is to survive the waves of undead. Which you could easily do by retreating. Nothing so menacing will appear unless you go looking for it.


More rules for daily quest:
All DCs start at 10.

One person can try to aid two people during an hour workout. DC 6 for a +1, DC 10 for +2, DC 16 for +3. Etc.

If you continue to make more checks without resting it increases the DCs by 2 each time.

If you fail a check and don't rest it increases the DC by 5 each time.

If you rest for an hour, the DCs reset. Resting takes an hour with only light movement.

Many magical bonuses can be expended at the beginning of the hour long work out. The lowest denomination is needed.
Guidance, 1 round of Rage, bull strength, inspiring bardic music for 1 round, etc.

You may decrease the time by increasing the DC by 5 or increase the DC by 10 and it only takes 15 minutes.

You may take a 10.
With many of us with enough ability now, this will likely be prominently used.

DCs start at 10.
If you don't rest the DC increases by 2 for the next check.
Then if you continue for every check afterward it increases by 2.

IIRC, you get all the rewards listed for the daily quest, it's not choose one, right? And then the boost points can be turned in whenever you accumulate enough to get what you want out of them, spending them like currency?


If you successfully accomplish the daily exercise quest, you gain all three rewards. If you are apart of Aeria Gloris your boost points are doubled. So you gain 6 instead of 3.

Yep boost points can be used at any time except battle. Well you might want to take the full defense action so you can use the green screen system. So you can do it whenever.

If you fail to accomplish your daily quest, there is a penalty quest. Ask the others about it.


Anyone have access to the special events/locations in New Faces? Would someone look it up for us.
