Nice hit!
2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 4) + 5 = 14

The hit connects and the whole place shakes violently as the HLH pixelates for a moment from the damage

Damage 1d6 ⇒ 4
DC15 Ref for Half.

Then he 'patches'!

A voice announces “Simulation effectiveness reduced. Maximum capacity 20%. Refer to the main terminal to rebalance simulation parameters.”

"Err0r? Any ideas?" she looks hopefully at their technical guy for guidance

"I think its signal is degrading! Keep up the pressure!" Err@r holds the hacking kit tightly, and suddenly it glows with magical energy, launching force bolts at the simulation!

Using my spell cache (hacking kit) to cast another full-round magic missile.

@GM: Is there a skill check or reasonable inference Err@r can make in this context? Is it possible getting to the terminal in the room these dangers first appeared in could terminate the hologram program, or is it too late for that?

[ooc]You deduce that you could either head into the room the HLH was working on the code in (the server room here) and start trying to reprogram the system (multiple full round computer checks), or keep fighting him as you are - both appear to be a valid pathway.

"You're too late Champion Squad, you'll NEVER stop my dastardly plan!"

The HLH disappears as the missiles slam home and reappears behind Err0r

Ritta just can't manage a good attack from that angle.

I'll wait until after Err0r acts this round. If Err0r moves away, Chox will move in for a melee attack. But if Err0r stays in melee, then Chox will switch to a ranged attack.

Exhausted and starting to leak vital fluids, Err@r throws a wild punch and then backs up around the corner.

Melee attack with cestus battleglove, then guarded step.

Err0r wwings, but the HLH is just too 'boss mob' for the attack.

Welp, nevermind the nonlethal...

With two team members hurting, Chox drops all pretense of attempting to take the Harlequin alive, instead focusing purely on bringing him down!

Chox moves up to the spot vacated by Err0r and swings!

Given his lack of luck with shooting the Harlequin, Gliko heads into the room to have a go at playing via the console.

Chox's blade slams home and the HLH flashes in a dazzling display of pixels, Gliko sees the computer system crash and start to reboot.

The program begins rapidly reverting the HACTech HQ, expo center, and the digitized portions of the moon to their normal state as a wave of scrambled video and audio static spreads outward from the server office. It also “deletes” the Harlequin’s personality from Jaype’s consciousness, allowing the CTO to return to his senses, and he drops his weapon as he collapses into unconsciousness, exhausted from the ordeal.

You've deactivates the malfunctioning software and the HACTech HQ and expo center is returning to normal, the remaining survivors cautiously come out of hiding and flee the facility. All told, there were only a few casualties. Shikaska contacts the local authorities, who arrive not long after, along with a team of emergency medical professionals who patch up the wounds you have received, free of charge.

While everyone is waiting, the survivors constantly thank you for your heroics, with many of them offering up bags of convention swag and free HAC game downloads.

That same team of medics loads Jaype Meriandrew onto a gurney and wheels him into a medical transport, intending to take him to a high-end hospital-spa to recuperate. Just as the doors are shutting and the shuttle takes off you spot a flicker of colorful digitization in Jaype’s form as he is whisked away—the Hardlight Harlequin might return in a sequel!
