Apologies. That 27 Did hit. For some reason I read that as a 17 at work. These creatures certainly don't have any crazy AC's like that! I added the damage into the tracker on Red.

Awesome, thank you! Does that mean the 34 was a crit, out of curiosity?

I want to make sure I am reading the magical, spell storing staff information correctly.
A staff I would get at 6th level would have 3 charges (unless I put slots in there) so I can cast 3 1st level spells or 1 2nd and 1 1st? Cantrips are free?

So with a staff you:

  • Must have the spell on your spell list
  • Must be high enough level to cast the spell you are casting from the staff.
  • Spend the amount of charges from the staff equal to the level of the spell being cast
  • Spells cast take the normal amount of actions to cast that they normally would.
  • Cantrips cast from a staff do not expend any charges and are heightened to the same level as the cantrips you cast.
  • Can be etched with Fundamental Runes (Weapon Potency and Striking) but not Property Runes (Everything else)

Does that mean Barad perhaps didn't use all three of his potions? If Frogger posted about group medicine checks, I must have missed it (also didn't realize that we had more than 1 hour for rest or I wouldn't have rolled for all of them).
