Only 1-2 items of note before game:

1 - Barad has the "Blessed Blood" feat:

Whenever a fiend, undead, or creature with a weakness to good damage drinks your blood or deals piercing or slashing damage to you with jaws, fangs, or a similar attack, that creature takes 1d6 good damage.

(A good way to trigger/reveal weaknesses without doing a recall knowledge, and also doesn't take up any actions)

2 - Barad, though a fighter, prefers to solve things nonviolently...that said, when traveling with flamberge (greatsword) at the ready, he'll take an attack of opportunity at the outset of combat should an attacker be mindless or very obviously not interested in negotiation. GM please feel free to roll those for me if they go off before my turn.

Hey all,

I'll be playing Frogger, a Magic Warrior from the Mwangi Expanse. He's been great to play.

Just as a heads up, he's wearing a frog mask whenever he's around people (hence the grippli token). None of you would know him without the mask but you can tell he's a half-orc.

Also, he has a vine leshy familiar named Viney and a arboreal sapling companion named Piney.

I was wondering if we would have a trio of leshy.

I have one glyph. I will give it to frogger.... Coptidel has convention hero boon. He will use it for his own hero point.

I have 3 glyphs, and Ivis has 4 - everyone will get to start with a bonus one!

Ivis and I have also GM'd this special before. Me at 1-2 and I think she ran 7-8. I haven't looked at the scenario for almost 5 months though, so I've forgotten a lot of it. That said, my character will likely stay out of making decisions on where/what we do, but will remain active in the doing itself :)

On the bad news side, Ivis has been without power for 14 hours - she was planning on getting her character updated and uploaded today, so that'll obviously be delayed. She and I both have our coins for a 3rd hero point each (that we can spend on other players if things go really bad for our team's dice rolls).

Alright, so Barad and Ivis will have 2 Hero Points and a Campaign Coin. Coptidel will have 3 Hero Points due to Convention Hero. Everyone else will have 2 Hero Points.

This coin changes their PFS number to a 3 digit number that is etched onto the coin and can be used for yourself or another player for 1 reroll once per game.

Campaign Coin and Order of the Wayfinder

In short it is an coin awarded to someone that has made a big contribution towards the Organized Play Community through hard work or some other form of positive achievement. Our GM has one as well (because he's awesome), which gives him a hero point he can use on another player if he so chooses ;)

@Avon, I actually don't know much about the Magaambya personally. Is there more info in the Mwangi book? And if anyone wants to help Frogger roleplay a bit with it (so me as a player can learn more!) that would be great.

I added character information into my profile (took me several instances as the Paizo website froze more often than not, saying that I've backtracked too far!).

I'm going to post Gortek's actions a bit later but I've got a few questions in the meantime:

Where are we exactly in Golarion?
What are we doing here (what's the mission)?
What's the maze of the Open Road?

Everyone can attempt each task once or Aid instead of making an attempt themselves.

I'm taking it that you are newer to PbP. One of the fun things that you can do during play-by-post games is to use other RL languages as stand-ins for things other than Common (Taldane) in your roleplay. This idea was put forth in one of the earliest PbP guides.

When you do so, you can select anything you like to imagine is a good fit for a language. For me, ancient RL languages are good fits for ancient in-game ones. I use Latin for Azlanti (since most human languages evolved from), Greek for Elven, Hebrew for Celestial, etc. If you decide to use something else, that's totally up to you, but I find that it's a really fun way to enhance roleplay in a PbP that you can't really do in any other RPG medium.

Listing this here to help me organize a bit better, myself, more than anything.

Barad's Selections:
- Escort: 1x Moderate healing potion. (Urwal)
- Meal: +2 circumstance bonus on next Fortitude save. (Calisro)
- Investigations: 1x 3rd level scroll of Heal to be handed to someone (Frogger?) in our party who can cast it. (Ashasar)
- Mustering: +2 circumstance bonus on next Will save. (Armeline)
- Reassurance: Once during adventure, +1 circumstance bonus to one skill check or one attack roll (use before rolling). (Janira)
- Supplies: 2x Moderate Antiplague. (Eando)

Pathfinder Training:
- Generalist: 2x Lesser healing potion.

Oh, I know, it is just that I have seen Elvish as another language, never Greek. Is that kione or classical or modern?

That was my typo. It is the +2 that is on the slides as Barad got a crit success.
