Since we have someone on the waitlist, go ahead and post your character introduction in the Gameplay thread now so I know you are ready to go and we will start the adventures on Monday.
Also, make sure your character sheet is filled out and up to date.

![]() |

Hi GM Erich - just letting you know that my post rate will be low this week, returning to normal around Friday. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

![]() |

Just to note: I bought a +1 Mithral shirt and a Headband of alluring charisma +2

![]() |

Indranna - still need you to post your character sheet (stats/skills/feats/spells/equipment) and your header info (AC, HP, saves, initiative, anything else you want to track). Let me know if you have any questions.

![]() |

How do I do the header info? And I still don't know how to post my character sheet to here. It's on the Myth Weavers web site. Can someone help me with that.
You can edit your class, race and gender lines on your profile to include similar details to the other PCs here. Generally speaking you want to show HP, AC (all three), CMD, saves and perhaps any limited resources such as Sleeping Sword's ki or Catushlara's channels.
You can also copy/paste any of our profile character sheets and edit it in your profile to match your character.

![]() |

i have selective channel..so we're good as long as there's not too many bad guys...lol
You can Channel to heal living without hurting Sleeping Sword (he just won't benefit from it), but if you Channel to harm undead you'll need to exclude him please ;)
Cure Wounds spells always cause a dhampir damage (there's a feat that helps, but Sleeping Sword doesn't have it). Inflict Wounds spells always heal a dhampir.

![]() |

Has anyone played Pathfinder Society Scenario #3: Murder on the Silken Caravan with this character?

![]() |

@Indranna If you want you can just post your link to your character on MythWeavers. I've had someone do that before too.

![]() |

Combat may be imminent, I need access to your character info somehow, Indranna.

![]() |

@Indranna I found your mythweavers character sheet. Let me know if there are any changes.

![]() |

Although dhampirs react to positive and negative energy as if they were undead, they are not actually undead subtype, so no.

![]() |

I believe that Sleeping Sword would be subject to the Turn attempt, if in range (30').
However, it allows a Will save to avoid and Sleeping Sword has +11 Will vs your DC of 13. If we get surrounded by undead by all means try Turn.
Sleeping Sword is himself an implacable foe of undead and a priest of the Tian sun goddess Shizuru. Should we face undead Sleeping Sword will enter melee with them.
But yes, Indranna will realise that Turn Undead could affect the dhampir.
ETA: if our GM says no, that's cool with me :) I have seen some disagreement about this question.

![]() |

Checking the FAQ for Negative Energy Affinity does muddy the issue. I tend to agree with Sleeping Sword's conclusion. It would affect him being a channel effect.

From Tues. Jan. 25th to Feb. 4th, we'll be getting major electrical work done on our home. They have a plan in place to maintain our internet access, but you never know how these things will go. Feel free to bot me if you don't hear from me in 24 hours.

@Gamin
Here are the relevant rules...
Intelligent items can actually be considered creatures because they have Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. Treat them as constructs. Intelligent items often have the ability to illuminate their surroundings at will (as magic weapons do); many cannot see otherwise.
Unlike most magic items, intelligent items can activate their own powers without waiting for a command word from their owner. Intelligent items act during their owner’s turn in the initiative order.
Each intelligent item should possess at least one power, although more powerful items might possess a host of powers. To find the item’s specific powers, choose or roll on Table: Intelligent Item Powers. All powers function at the direction of the item, although intelligent items generally follow the wishes of their owner. Activating a power or concentrating on an active one is a standard action the item takes. The caster level for these effects is equal to the item’s caster level. Save DCs are based off the item’s highest mental ability score.
But I think Gamin can only cast guidance on the wielder.

![]() |

@GM Erich: fyi the 10dmg on Red is nonlethal.

![]() |

What do I roll to help put out the fire?

![]() |

A Survival check or Reflex save as a standard action while adjacent to the square to put out that square.

![]() |

got a question for you...kinda weird. would it be possible for me to memorize an infernal healing for SS? i don't think so...but just wanted to ask in case I can...i'll do it of we get a chance to rest and you give me the OK...

![]() |

I think that's a no, Therin, although you are allowed to activate a wand of infernal healing. (Good clerics can't cast Evil spells, but they can activate Evil items).
I asked the online VOs about this when I was GM'ing a Good-aligned cleric who carried a wand of infernal healing.

![]() |

SS is right. From the Core rulebook (under cleric)...
Chaotic, Evil, Good, and Lawful Spells: A cleric can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity's (if she has one).

![]() |

If pink is still alive on my turn I attack again. If not I move towards purple and attack.

![]() |

Zzorn, I keep thinking that there ought to be some way we can combo your Breaker Rush and Sleeping Sword's Punishing Kick :)

![]() |

Sweet! very similar abilities you are right!

![]() |

ok...for buff, I can bless, and go shield of faith on two people..and cay can do SOF on two as well...i can do spiritual weapon again...to help...i wish i could use my fireball...but chances are theyre gonna be immune to fire...lol. I'm basically a healbot this time..with chipping in melee a bit...thoughts?
and i vote side door...

![]() |

Sleeping Sword has wands of Shield of Faith and Bless, and a Divine Favour prepared. Only sticking point - all of those will last 10 rounds only.
Fireball might still be handy. GM, do we need to make Knowledge checks about Ifrit to gauge their fire resistance?
Oh and I vote for the secret door approach.

![]() |

I can take a SOF Therin... every bit helps!

![]() |

You'd know they generally have some fire resistance, although some individuals don't (due to alternate racial traits).

![]() |

Cheers GM.
If the party's other two clerics want to borrow Sleeping Sword's wands to speed our buffing prep please do.

![]() |

Pai will always be happy to receive Bless. Shield of Faith would be awesome too. She doesn't have anything left to do to prep otherwise.
If it looks like smoke/gas will be a problem, she'll activate her Air Shroud and share it with everyone in the group for 7 minutes so we don't have to hold our breath.

For everyone's benefit, I assumed all the talking once you opened the door took about three minutes. Yes, I got bored and timed it. I also assumed the bless and 2 shield of faiths were from Therin so they lasted longer than that. I basically only took off the minute or less buffs.

![]() |

I only have so many actions in one round, SS...
Indeed. It's a very nasty setup :O

![]() |

If you didn't kill Tygora last turn (or reduce her to 10 hp to make her plane shift away) I was going to have her cast another wall of flame on Amiri and Merisiel pointing the other direction. :O
But seriously, pay attention to the potential amount of damage by range and how much each character will take trying to go through the sheet of flame. Don't forget the spell has a limited duration too. It would also be safe to assume that the other two prisoners are sitting on their own red flame trap as well.
Kyra is now safe. You do have a flyer and carrying capacity is a thing. Drag or grapple (then move) are also legal ideas.
We are basically rolling dice based on your plan for that secondary success point.
(Note though that even though I've named the pathfinder NPCs for narrative benefit they aren't actually who they are so they can't rage/channel/etc and have identical stats).

![]() |

We've got two channeling clerics - one with Selective Channel - and a bunch of healing wands. Sleeping Sword has no positive healing resources but can use a wand of cure light wounds if given one.
We have two of us with Fire Resistance - so my suggestion is the fire resistant PCs get the captives freed on the hot side of the wall whilst everyone else who can performs healing duties. Pai should toss about as much water as she can :)

![]() |

When all this is done, Pai might Create Water to make it look like Tygora peed her pants. Maybe. (Snicker!)
And then she'll dry off all her allies, 'cause she's got the magical dog shake ability too (she can dry things that are wet, like with prestidigitation).

Hey everyone, as you can probably guess, we are almost done.
Everyone can roll a d20 for a boon. A 19 or 20 wins, winners need to then roll 1d2 to see which boon.
After you do that, give me your Day Job roll if you need to do that too.
boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 18
