Okay, let's remove 4-08 from the mix. Here is what we have left, plus other repeatables.
2-23 Agent's Obligation
5-01 Year of Unfettered Exploration
5-02 Blackwood Lost
5-04 Equal Exchanges
As for 5-03, Heidmarch Heist, it is a 5-8. So y'all will have to wait on that one or play it with other characters.

I hadn’t realized you were waiting to play it with us.
I would gladly play alongside Meadow (or GM for her again). It is Brekovi that wants to finish out the adventure because it is in Thuvia. I’m not sure if Tess will have time with her wanting to fight undead. :)
Tess wants to fight undead and needs to stay the level she is in order to not miss a priceless undead fighting opportunity.

Which undead you looking to do? If it's 03-09 (Secluded Siege), that's a 5-8.
Tess of Tosof |
Tess wants to play 5-05 Island of Vibrant Dead, which is a 3-6 coming in October. So she is on ice so that she can play that.
After that, she wants to play 3-09 Secluded Siege & 4-09 Killer in the Golden Mask, which are both 5-8s.
Tess loves fighting undead, or having moral conundrums where she has to deal with polite undead she can't kill. Fun times.

Oops, <need a chagrined emoji> my mistake. I haven’t read any Clive Cussier so didn’t realize that your character was based on a different fictional character.
In any case, yes that is the scenario. Brekovi still wants to play it. I would gladly get together with Isaku for that.

Sounds good to me! I'm willing to take either #5-01 after this one or I can do #5-04 after someone else runs #5-01. And by then we should be well enough into autumn/winter that Stitch can run #1-14 Lions of Katapesh like he talked about.
I've also got Nicole added to our tracker group so that should be everyone.
With all this talk about killing undead I ought to run March of the Dead (independent of this group rotation) so Hmm can apply the chronicle to Tess ;)
Roark Thunderbird |
If you run March of the Dead, I'm willing to spend a replay to well, replay it. I'd like to replay some of the games I played on Discord because I don't remember anything :)
As for character creation -- my early characters were mostly concepts I wanted to try. I tend to gravitate toward monks for some reason, though I've found I like playing flexible support characters (bards, monks, rogues). I'm actually quite impressed with players like Hmm who have a whole history for the character... :)
Roark is a direct "copy" (well, not totally) of Jason Keeley's Roark from Band of Bravos.
Isaku Beru is from Clive Cussler's series of the same name. I wanted to try the Investigator class but couldn't come up with a name. I liked the character type and made up 2 more (Zhamie Zhapp and Purrlock Holmes; then I insulted the tengus of Golarion by creating a druid named Ducktor Watson :) ).
My rogue Sam Seed (from Lady Ladile's Q14 during Paizocon) is actually inspired by Fran Rosemont (though Sam is casting rogue as opposed to a Witch).
So long story short -- my characters are usually what catches my fancy at that time :)

Fran Rosemont wrote:With all this talk about killing undead I ought to run March of the Dead (independent of this group rotation) so Hmm can apply the chronicle to Tess ;)Tess has already played March of the Dead, but never GMed it.
Heh! I should've figured :)
I actually *would* like to run it but it's an idea probably best tabled until after Gameday is done.
______________
Thanks for the insight about your characters and how they came to be, folks!
Pooka Palooka - Goblin bard and bartender. Originally sorta started from a joke post I made once about making a goblin bard that beat people with a guitar/lute like El Kabong.
Poffis Whindlebit - Gnome druid and farmer. My 1e leshy alchemist Soddy-Daisy would frequently refer to her creator 'Poffis' and when 2e came about I decided she needed to exist as a PC. I also never had a 1e druid PC for PFS so this was me trying a new thing.
Bugtussle - Leshy gunslinger. Originally started out as a monk because I'd never played much as a monk in 1e and thought I'd try something new. Switched to a gunslinger (and shifted his personality somewhat) because the idea of a cactus with a gun made me laugh.
Fran Rosemont - Human witch. Mostly a straight crib of my 1e Fran Belmont (who was a half-elf), who was inspired by the character of a similar name in the videogame 'Fran Bow'.
Corona Meridian - Human oracle. Another 1e character crib, who was inspired by Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and Noire from Fire Emblem Awakening. She's a little more different from her 1e version than Fran is, both in mechanics and personality.
I'm probably going to make cribs of my other two favorite 1e PCs (Palomia & Soddy-Daisy) at some point, which means making a human summoner and a leshy alchemist. Much like how Bret doesn't repeat ancestries, I try not to repeat classes. I've got a name for a future third leshy character but I need to figure out the rest.
As far as other potential ancestries I'm looking at, I've got Catfolk, Shoony, Poppet and Skeleton (that this is even possible now makes me laugh and laugh and laugh). I've also got enough Starfinder AcP that I could purchase a System Traveler boon for an Android. So many possibilities :)
Roark Thunderbird |
If anyone's played with my Quickfinger siblings (Shayna, Shayla, Francine) - It actually started with the first 2: I decided to make them twins because I couldn't come up with a storyline for them. Shayna is a bard, Shayla a rogue. Shayna is the responsible one and went into business. The other is a happy go lucky urchin who always got into trouble. I came up with Francine because I wanted to try the swashbuckler style and again needed a background so why not -- made her the elder sister... :)
So it's either what tickles my fancy at the time or if I need a convenient background storyline... and usually if I like someone else's concept I'm going to try to copy it... :)
Bella Sidare |
Too many messages, can't read them all. I'm fine with any scenarios we decide to play.
For making characters, it's always concept first. Then I try to see if I can fit them into Pathfinder. I made too many PF1 characters that just languished. I love Play-by-Post for character writing (solo RPG helps as well) but it's slow for running character stats. So I tend to get super picky when it's time to create new characters.
I've had this idea for a half-siren explorer in my head for years, and it's only with the Kineticist that I've really been able to express her abilities properly. Strix Undine is close enough. I burned a lot of AcP yesterday.
Bella here is a a "Punchy Disney Princess" idea I've had since the 1e Brawler. But I couldn't figure out how to make unarmed strikes work in PF1 (there's no real way to fight unarmed well without dipping into Monk) so she stayed on the back burner. Khiari was her own PF1 character as I tried to approximate a fey, but it never worked out. In PF2 unarmed strikes aren't a death sentence, and Summoners can bring fey eidolons, so I get to have my cake and eat it too.
Emmanuel "Manny" Holysmith is a whip bard/fighter I still play in PF1 with my RL friends. Whip proficiency is annoying in PF1, and I like playing bards in melee. Plus I get all of my Castlevania references out of the way.
Swayaah Maelerant (Maeleranti for PF2) is my tiefling. I had the character personality, but not the powers. In PF1 she was a barbarian/ranger, but now she's an investigator/psychic. She'd fit more in an urban fantasy but I make do.
Swayaah's father Jiggo is one of the first character ideas I had. He's also married to a reformed demon turned angel. In PF1 he was a Warpriest but now he's a Summoner, it's a much better fit.
Issil was my Hell's Rebels character ported to PF2. As a Flames Oracle/Vigilante, she scratches my superhero itch. I also get to heal and burn things.
Miladistra was another "make a fey-like" character attempt. She has a wolf companion. When she's not grumbling about overinflated deities or her mother, she's doting over her wolf, Deroff.
Her "uncle" Nilaglade is a Sprite, and he rides said wolf. He shoots stuff as a ranger, and is the closest to pure martial I plan to get to for a while. Took me a while to figure out what to do with my 3rd action.

sheesh... I never even noticed the same last name between Jiggo and Swayaah... :)

So many posts! A fun discussion on motivations and creative spark. I have no issues going with the same ancestry.. obviously with my Dwarven crew. I'd also have no issues going with multiple inventors.. they have such a broad range of routes and trees. I could play a dozen inventors and they'd be all pretty different.
*I'd also really like to make a skeletal archer! They have so many fun ancestry feats to not enjoy.

I turned down a game of 2-23 this week so that I could play it with this group. So let's get this plan into list in the short description at the top of this campaign so that we don't forget it.
★ --- ★ --- ★ --- ★
Let's put them in order.
1-07 Flooded King's Court (1-4)
5-01 Year of Unfettered Exploration (1-4) Ladile
Group becomes Level 4
5-04 Equal Exchanges (1-4) Hmm
1-14 Lions of Katapesh (1-4) Massee
2-18 Fanciful March (3-6) GM Tiger
Group becomes Level 5
2-23 Agent's Obligation (3-6) ??
GM Bret |
Since we already have the list of games played in Campaign Info, perhaps putting it there would make more sense? The only problem with that is there is exactly one person who can edit it there.
If we aren’t doing that, we should defiantly just put it in a spreadsheet or doc and link to it.
The list looks good to me.
Vardarel |
So I wonder what the best way to organize this play is... it would take far too long to get people to post their lines in order. Thoughts GM?
I’m not sure this works for everyone, but what I did was put each line in a spoiler.
If the GM doesn’t mind, this allows them to reassemble the play via cut and paste while allowing us to each put our own spin on our lines.
Clover Nettlesoup |
I want the list of future scenarios out and blatant so that we all remember what we planned to do and don't sign on to those games with other PCs.
Fran Rosemont |
Unless someone beats me to it, I don't mind making the document when I get back home in a couple of hours. We'll still have to have chadius link it at the top of the page for us but at least I can set it up where any of us can make edits.

Better late than never, I also made a document of the same thing which can be found here ----> Longroads Game Schedule
Perhaps a bit redundant to have it in two places *but* if it helps remind people that they need to be mindful of what they decide to play elsewhere, I'm all for it. Provided everyone remembers to check either location, of course...
Roark Thunderbird |
I added to the doc. I have 04-09 and 03-09 ready (both are 5-8 so I can actually still refine it by running it outside the group.). I've been meaning to prep 02-23 (Agent's Obligation)... so let's see if I actually do it this time. :)
GM Frost |
Can't remember who I follow to GM next in our rotation. XD
Roark Thunderbird |
Well, 03-09 and 03-14 is a 2-part adventure. I'm fine with running both. But that's at the 5-8 tier... and Tess will probably want to play that one... :)
Without giving anything away, I will say that 04-09 is brutal. I played it for Paizocon and we almost had our heads handed to us... :)
GM Bret |
I have already played 3-09 Secluded Siege. I expect at some point Tess will hijack my wizard to play 3-14 The Tomb Between Worlds Death Pyramid.
That said, I haven’t GMed either of them so that might work.
Since we are listing them out pretty far, I would like to play 4-99 Blessings of the Forest with Vardarel once we are 4th level or higher. I think that probably means the online convention after this one. Fortunately that one is fully repeatable.
Roark Thunderbird |
Frost, why don't you do 02-23... :)
If we're done by Gameday, I'm doing the 3-4 for 04-99... :)
Clover Nettlesoup |
Are you trying to get us all to sign up for your table? That means that I need to put in my GM thing for PBP Gameday soon, doesn't it? How does your table look now?
EDIT
Found it. So far only GM Frost is signed up for your table. Do we all want to converge on Tiger's table? I'm a backup GM for the Blessings of the Forest special, but I don't know if that counts for early GM signup so I'd better get my DA table listed.
Clover Nettlesoup |
This group is capable of a fast pace, and just about everyone has played 1-07 before. We could try it if we wished.
Do we wish?
Roark Thunderbird |
Are you trying to get us all to sign up for your table?
Nope. Just saying that if Bret wants to play 04-99 with Vardarel, if we happen to finish before GDXII he could... :)
Do we all want to converge on Tiger's table?
Hmm... why do you all look familiar... :)
Clover Nettlesoup |
Okay, so we should not do it yet. Got it.
Fran Rosemont |

Depending on how quickly we finish this scenario we might have to cool our heels a little before I can start #5-01, as it doesn't release until the 30th. On the bright side, I actually have the 30th & 31st off and mostly free so I should be able to get the prep done pretty quick if I get right to it.
*edit* Speaking of hopping on Gameday tables I do want to point out that while Fistful of Flowers does have pregens, you can also bring your own PFS PC if they're a leshy of 3rd level. I've already ran it for Bret & Hmm, but you know, if anyone else here is interested once general signups open... :)

Stitch Steeltoe |
Once I have power to my chicken coop I may experiment running a heat tap wrapped around my chicken's perch for any extremely cold weather events that may pop up. You should think about that Roark.
Roark Thunderbird |
You know, Frost might want to do 02-06 (Crashing Wave)? I've never played it, even if I've run it at least thrice...
Nicole Flames |

I can run that, I think. Played it once, in your game.
Vardarel |
We all should have had 2 hero points to start. You haven’t given out any since then that I know of.
Roark and I bring 3 glyphs each. Clover (who isn’t playing this one) brings 3 glyphs. Nicole brings 1 glyph. Apologies if I missed anyone, those are the ones I know of.
I had asked how you want to track them but never got an answer on that or if you were using the macro sheet.
