I usually make it the skill that is associated to the tradition of the magic they use.

With that said. Detecting Magic is just an exploration activity. Just because you are detecting magic doesn't mean you always roll that skill, I can still call for perception checks to be rolled if it fits better.

For example, a lot of people like to use avoid notice. If they're are traveling somewhere with no places to hide (cover or concealment), or if a fight breaks out in a middle of a conversation, I would still have them roll a perceptions check for initiative.

BTW: I note that Ufi has the shield block reaction, even though he seems to lack the feat. I assume the feat is an oversight and he can indeed use that reaction if he is damaged.

Forgot to put the notes. Those are crates. You could stand on top of them, but it would be difficult terrain.

To clear up any confusion, she wants Ulvard to join her and use him to take the rest of the party out. Then take care of the VC who assigned the mission to you.

I sort of figured it would be the VC or any other local Pathfinders.

Why is she interested only to Ulvard to join her? Why not recruit us all for her cause? he thinks to himself.

This is more or less what confused me about the first point above too. Why would she zero in on one of us so fast and not feel out who might be interested to join her (minimizing defectors)?

That was more of a GM call. She favors those of low wisdom and intellect to lead...so I went based off will saves.

In the scenario, and this is a general summarization how I understand it, she wants to replace her followers that have been lost, but not too many to raise suspicion or become too large.

And Ulvard is big and strong - just what she needs.

Unfortunately for her, maybe too stubben.

Ulvard returns to Taldor, running errands for the Ulven guard as he tries to ingratiate himself with them.

warfare lore, earn an income DC14: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

But they are not impressed. He must survive on copper coins they sometimes toss him for shining their boots.

@GM if you could let me know when the chronicles are emailed out, I can do the regular check of spam boxes etc.

Is it still valid even if the chronicle has no entry on Game Master's Signature? I am just worried if it becomes an issue in the future.

Signatures are no longer required for the GM. As long as they have my Paizo number they are fine. They removed the GM signature line, I think in season 2.
