It's a move action to create my weapon, then 5-foot step and attack. My archetype doesn't say anything about the shadow weapon's hit points or hardness, I'm guessing it's the same as normal blade of its enhancement bonus? (+3 effective for me right now) Anyway, I don't particularly care if they do break it, I'll just let it dissipate and create another one.

Galadhan moves away from the statues and lines an arrow up at the duergar statue. It slowly seems to chip away! But the arrow is destroyed as it slams into the statue.

Leon delays until he can better assess the situation.

Farrar starts singing about the glories of battle, inspiring his companions to new heights!

Akku slashes at the duergar statue with his weapon. His blade seems to vibrate after he pierces the statue. Then out of his chest, Siiska's tentacles slam into the statue as well, slowly bludgeoning it.

Nyxis stands in the room, hoping he can protect his fellow companions.

Lastly, Aleks manages to take a huge chunk off the caligni statue, but it still stands. Unfortunately, his weapon took a brutal hit and is no longer up to par!

Aleks locks eyes with the duergar statue and freezes, his damaged rapier slipping from his grip and dissipating into shadow.


Nyxis uses his reaction to lessen the damage of Farrar and Aleks (+5 hp to both, then -10 hp to Nyxis)

Galadhan fires a barrage of arrows at the caligni statue, damaging it even further.

Leon shakes off the worst of the gaze and attacks the statue right in front of him, nearly destroying it - though it still stands.

Farrar does not want to be so close to the statue, so dances away from it while singing praises of his companions.

Akku slashes at the duergar, completely destroying it. The statue crumbles to the ground in front of him!

Both Nyxis and Aleks unfortunately get paralyzed in fear!

The statue sees one target in front of it - lashing out to attack!

After destroying the last of the statues, the Pathfinders decide to head north, the room Aiyana describes as the guest quarters. Leon slowly cracks open the door. No obvious monsters or caligni jump out... at least not yet.
Unlike the rest of the estate, this room appears to be undisturbed - a stark contrast to the slimey ooze in the statue room. There are four well-made beds, a table with seating for six, and a sideboard bearing a silver pitcher and basin. A finely painted mural on the ceiling depicts a subterranean river descending into a swirling whirlpool where Darklands fey and aquatic creatures cavort.

Appraise DC 20:
The silver pitcher and basin are worth about 160 gp together, though they are likely Aiyana's possessions...

Akku sees nothing of interest in the guest quarters, but no one else seems to look for anything. The group decides on heading south into the main hall.

Leon leads the way, slowly cracking open the door. The large hall in front of him is richly decorated with murals, decorative tapestries, marble columns, and a high seat carved of jade-green stone. Two statues carved to resemble tall dark folk encased in full armor with open-faced great helms flank the grand entrance. The floor contains intricate mosaics showing underground scenes of triumphant dark folk armies, strange subterranean beasts, surface folk being led in chains, and shadowy gods looking on from above.

But that's not the most interesting thing in this room. Several dark folk congregate near the throne. They seem to be arguing in their own tongue, but you recognize the words 'Aiyana' and 'Callivarius'. A few shadow mastiffs sit by the throne as well. When the door swings fully open, the dark folk all look at you and prepare to attack!

Galadhan is lucky as he pops off a few arrows at the dark folk wearing an orange hat. But that doesn't stop the enemies as they all coalesce on Leon. Two of the commandos drop back, pulling out bows as they do. The others slash at Leon with their swords.

Past the angry mental shouts of his sister, past the cobwebs in his brain, beyond the dust, leaves and tumbleweed, Akku can see a faint purple glow... heading towards it, the young man ends up making many turns, as the elusive pulsating radiance always appear to be beyond the next corner, only to reveal yet another passage or corridor with more turns down the way. Pushing past the mind-trap, he finally fast forwards to the source, an impossibly large violet gem on a pedestal, with many angry red runes crawled upon its base to try to chain down the obviously magical stone... and other markings are there, on the floor... to warn or to deter anyone from approaching. Some of the them have been scratched with bloody broken nails or claws...

Akku reaches for the gem.

Casting Condensed Ether; the Ethereal Plane bleeds through and interpenetrates the Material Plane in a 20-ft.-radius spread. This thickened planar conjunction slows movement through the area to a crawl. Creatures moving through condensed ether (even incorporeal creatures), move at only half their normal speed and can’t take 5-foot steps. This slowing of movement doesn’t stack with solid fog or similar effects. Creatures within condensed ether take a –2 penalty to Armor Class and on Reflex saves, and condensed ether prevents effective ranged weapon attacks. Even magic rays and similar ranged attacks suffer a 20% miss chance on attacks into or passing through condensed ether. This miss chance is not based on concealment, and Blind-Fight, true seeing, and similar effects do not reduce it.

With a shocked and horrified look on his face at what he has just done, Akku steps back, cold sweat beading upon his brow...

5-ft step back towards the northeast to allow Alek and Leon to back up into the room if they want and to provide more targets to Galadhan as the enemies will push out of the condensed ether to engage in melee

Farrar sings a sweet song. Magic emanates throughout the hall, echoing from wall to wall. Three of the dark folk seem affected as well as one of the hounds. They all hold their ears and their eyes look around confusedly. Only fate will decide what they do next.

Akku calls upon the Ethereal plane. The whole room suddenly pulses with waves of energy. The dark folk in the room stand grit their teeth, trying to shake off the energy.

Then Aleks does what he does best - swing hard! Both blows land true, but the commando still stands, blood pouring down his face.

The bluish mastiff stands still, waiting for a command from it's confused master. But the red one looks around eagerly at its master and chomps down! But can't seem to nibble on anything.

The officer in a blue jacket sees the mastiff attempt to bite down and in turn pulls out a weapon then swings at it, solidly connecting.

Then the officer in red pants looks around to see whats happening. His eyes turn to the other officer and angrily yells at him. The officer steps up and swings his pick! Another solid hit.

Nyxis manages to conjure up some lightning from thin air! He blasts the dark folk, which downs the caligni! But instead of falling to the ground, he combusts in a flash of searing light.

Both Leon and Aleks must make a DC 19 Fortitude save or be dazzled for 1d4 rounds.

Leon steps up over the shriveled remains of the caligni to open up the space for more of his associates to come in and fight. He lifts up his sword and strikes at the yellow caligni with all his might. What a strike! Nearly knocks him out, but the commando still stands.

Leon may be affected by the dazzle effect, but let's just forgo it for this attack. If he fails the Fortitude save, let's just have it be in effect for all subsequent turns.

Lastly, Galadhan sees his opportunity. The yellow one is distracted and he unleashes a volley of arrows. And the yellow commando also combusts!

Leon must make another Fortitude save or be dazzled.

Seeing his friends die, the black commando dashes backward, hoping to get some distance between him and you guys.

Aleks blinks a few times, but manages not to shrug off the effects of the flash. Then he moves forward, skirting the fog as much as possible and just squeezing by Galadhan, to strike at one of the mastiffs.

Farrar continues his song! Magic emanates through the room. The commando in a purple fedora momentarily freezes but then continues struggling to get out!

Akku decides to help out his companions instead. Galadhan feels a wave of power come over him, granting him more accuracy and power.

Lastly, Aleks skirts the area of the etheralness to strike at one of the mastiff! The dog growls as the fighter approaches and snarls as Aleks connects his sword.

In turn, the bluish mastiff bites at Aleks, hoping to trip up the fighter.
