It's in my profile near the end under "Chronicles & Boons".

Jaek hasn't pulled out the Gold Crown paper, yet.
But, oh crap. What do we do, guys? Let them aboard? I was thinking of extending the gangplank for them and leaning out to help them board, but then, when one is just about to step food on the boat, Jaek nonchalantly knocks the plank into the water.
I dunno. Any suggestions?

![]() |

Let them board and pay them? A fight and fleeing legit guards is much more likely to mess us up. A bribe could help too.
But that’s ooc stuff from me. Leon would be fine with a tussle. He wouldn’t kill anyone so it probably wouldn’t be toooooo bad.

![]() |

Leon, ready to bull-rush the inspector overboard? The one who's about to discover the dwarves?
I think it's inevitable there's gonna to be a fight.

Leon, ready to bull-rush the inspector overboard? The one who's about to discover the dwarves?
I think it's inevitable there's gonna to be a fight.
Hm... what if Corbrae uses Fascinate on the guy while downstairs? The dwarves might be able to sneak around him...
At 1st level, a bard can use his performance to cause one or more creatures to become fascinated with him. Each creature to be fascinated must be within 90 feet, able to see and hear the bard, and capable of paying attention to him. The bard must also be able to see the creatures affected. The distraction of a nearby combat or other dangers prevents this ability from working. For every three levels the bard has attained beyond 1st, he can target one additional creature with this ability.
Each creature within range receives a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 the bard's level + the bard's Cha modifier) to negate the effect. If a creature's saving throw succeeds, the bard cannot attempt to fascinate that creature again for 24 hours. If its saving throw fails, the creature sits quietly and observes the performance for as long as the bard continues to maintain it. While fascinated, a target takes a –4 penalty on all skill checks made as reactions, such as Perception checks. Any potential threat to the target allows the target to make a new saving throw against the effect. Any obvious threat, such as someone drawing a weapon, casting a spell, or aiming a weapon at the target, automatically breaks the effect.
Fascinate is an enchantment (compulsion), mind-affecting ability. Fascinate relies on audible and visual components in order to function.

I say give fascinate a try. After that maybe a bribe?

![]() |

I think fascinate is the strongest option; I'd say we try that.
That said, if combat is what the scenario wants, we may as well not resist it too much.
That's good to know, too, because I thought we failed in my Standard playthrough of this, thinking we should have avoided this combat, haha!

Fascinate him, Marida!
Um, the idea was that Corbrae fascinates him.
Merida is a fighter, not a bard... ;-)

![]() |

Whoops! Sorry. I thought I had the highest bluff check. I just found out Corbrae's is higher. I should have okay'd bluffing the tavern owner with you all first.

Good to hear your mom is doing well! No worries on updating. Take your time with family. That's all that matters!

Will work on your chronicle sheets today and should have them out by the end of the evening.
Also, every gets to roll for boons! Roll a d20. A 19 or 20 is a win, then roll 1d3 to determine which boon you win. If you win, please PM me your email. I'll give the organizers your email, so they can then email you your boon!
GMs get boons too: 1d20 ⇒ 2

![]() |

Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Thanks for running the game, GM Mauve!

Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Leon no lucky. :(
That was a good game all, I think we got a tiny bit muddled in the middle, but then it all made sense once we found the hidden area. Good group, good gm. Thanks!

"Arr! T'was a pleasure bein' a part of this fine group o' Pathfinders! Surely, we'll cross paths again, me mateys."
"Now, let's see if thar be anything in this chest for good ol' Jaek."
Jaek slowly lifts the lid of the barnacle encrusted waterlogged chest, his eyes sparkling in anticipation.
What's in the chest?: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Jaek slams the lid shut.
"Arrgh. Empty!"
